Hmm. So I reduced stream spacing greatly in my part to be slightly easier (as in image below) since my friend complained to me about it earlier this month or so...however it makes the inconsistency more visible >< I dunno if this works - let me know?

    1. You're storyboarded lyrics have a fair bit of transparent space in them. Perhaps you could crop those out to lower memory usage? There are others, but the lyrics are the main culprit.
    2. Just as an idea, how about you use soft hitsounds for the intro? (from the start - 00:15:280). Sounds better to me that way.
    3. the difficulty gap between Ugly and Sorry seems a bit big. perhaps you could map something to go in between those? (getting the other 2 mappers to come back and map another difficulty might be a little hard though, I understand D:)

There are some jumps which seem... Very unplayable. Gave you one in IRC. You could probably get away with it since this song is called "Sorry Sorry" You know, kinda fits with the title of the song.

Another thing is that hitsounds seem to disappear. Two examples would be...

*I suggest anything no matter how minor it is.
*Unless I tell you differently the issues I find are minor suggestions.
*Suggestions are not meant to impede upon the creativity of the beatmapper, but to point out that something is out of the ordinary, awkward, or (in my opinion) could be made better.


General

Don't use the brown note. It blends too much into the black parts of the storyboard.

Ugly!!!

00:24:511 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - These are too close in my opinion. So far the rhythm has remained consistant in the song until here. It may just me being the Beat Nazi as usual, but I can notice that the beats are closer together when I play through it, because I have to slow how fast I move the mouse to each note. There is no evidence in the song that I can surmise that slows the beat down here, so the notes shouldn't be differently spaced. (This is just a matter of taste. )

The fix

Use the current distance snap of 1.1 on these notes as well as 00:30:049 (1) - then move 00:31:895 (1,1) - down 1 unit to compensate for the spacing change.

Fixing it manually.

00:25:434 (2) - Move 1 unit right.
00:26:357 (1) - Move 1 unit right and 4 units up.
00:27:280 (2) - Move 4 units up
00:29:126 (2) - Move 1 unit right.
00:30:049 (1,1,1) - Move 1 unit down.

In the screenshot you can see that notes 2 and 3 are connected at the corner and notes 4, 1, and 2 are connected at the bottom. My suggestion here is to conform them so that they all connect to the corner of the previous note like in this screenshot.

Make it a part of the orange one. Try 123, 12 for the combo pattern.

There are many ways to fix this. I came up with this configuration.

Another possibility is to stack this note on 11 and make it a part of that combo and you will be able to keep the rest of the blue combo where it is. That seems to be the best configuration for this.

00:15:280 (1,2,3,4) - Why are these different shapes? The more conformal shape is 2 and 3 and I don't like how they look. The curve is too sharp in my opinion. Maybe they can be more conformal and have a more gradual curve.

If you absolutely must have these slider shapes, then I suggest that 00:16:203 (3) - be rotated to better line up with the slider after it.

01:56:357 (13,1) - Does this reverse slider have to end facing away from the note? The speed of it makes the transition feel really awkward. I suggest changing it.

01:56:818 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - Actually this whole combo feels awkward. I don't think it flows well at all. Maybe angle all the notes at a 45 degree angle to make the triangle pattern feel less awkward.

02:00:280 (5,6,7,8) - Move 1 unit right.

02:06:511 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - Spacing discrepancy. I've noticed that you have been alternating between two snaps for 1/4th notes. Notice that the distance between 2 and 4 is different than 4 and 5, and 5 and 6, and so on. You should unify these kinds of combos in your map so when you choose to clump together 1/4th notes that any other notes within that combo are snapped proportionally. It lightens some of the confusion. IDK maybe it's not approapiate in this case, but keep this in mind.


02:09:741 (5) - New combo?

02:09:972 (6,7,8) - Too close. Expand by 1 unit (You can chose whether the spacing should be how it is or not. It only becomes an issue when the spacing is different in nearby notes)

02:11:126 (3,4,5) - Too close together. Expand by 1 unit. ( This should be the standard spacing for 1/4th notes in this map 01:51:511 (2,3,4) - If this is not the standard then all these wide spaced 1/4th notes should be reduced by 1 unit. -matter of opinion-)

02:11:587 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13) - Should be expanded. ^ Improperly spaced streams may confuse someone into thinking that this stream is faster than it actually is.

02:27:280 (8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15) - This one might be able to stay.

It may just me being the Beat Nazi as usual, but I can notice that the beats are closer together when I play through it, because I have to slow how fast I move the mouse to each note. There is no evidence in the song that I can surmise that slows the beat down here, so the notes shouldn't be differently spaced. (This is just a matter of taste. ) (Looking at it I believe the first 1 is spaced properly, and the others are reflected about the axis to give a sense of symmetry and order. I'll let dragonslayerxx decide - it's his part.) EDIT: Nevermind, he told me to fix as needed.

Use the current distance snap of 1.1 on these notes as well as 00:30:049 (1) - then move 00:31:895 (1,1) - down 1 unit to compensate for the spacing change.

It's very hard to read some of the darker colors, such as Dark Purple and Dark Red during the dark colored areas (Particularly the beginning). Maybe you should change some of the combo colors.

Maybe a Seizure Warning can help, since the song has strobing. I don't know how sensitive those with epilepsy has.

The second Break... the mapper name really doesn't fit the lighting... maybe just have it fade out for the break (even though they map a bit more)... or make them strobe with the light! :D Hehe if the name strobes, it looks strange x) I'll just have it fade out~

Hello, 'thepianist'! I have viewed through your beatmap, and I have some comments about it.

All your maps have excellent rhythms, and the difficulties are apparent. However, I suggest lowering the difficulty of 'Ugly!' and 'Sorry!'. The reason is that the beat difficulty is very far off from ‘Crazy!’, but the stars are very close.

Also, the beats are spaced too far out. Many people will not be able to clear a note and later hop to a distant note, while the beats are some sort of 1/8.

Numerous notes are placed under other notes, and that makes a problem: when a note is clicked, there will be a score taking over its place, which will stay there for about 2 seconds. If another note is directly below it and must be hit before the score fades, then there will be trouble. Imagine someone playing and cannot find note 3 of a combo after hitting note 1 and 2 and then note 4 appears, all the while not realizing that note 3 is under note 1. There will be a danger of combo breakings.

Some sliders are surprisingly SLOW, despite the fast ones seen aplenty throughout the map. Since there are so many fast sliders, players will be caught off guard when they overshoot across a slow slider when the ball hasn’t even moved that much.

Overall, the map deserves its ranking. I wish you all the best in your editing. Thank you and have a nice day.

Haha it's a collab map~ The original plan was to make a Normal Hard Insane set back in November, and it kinda went that way~

Ah, I tried to space my 1/4 streams closer together (except for one place where I thought it fit), but the other mappers don't really want to.

Haha, the readibility (buh strange word) of the overlaps should be okay, considering some of the playtesting I had my friends do.
