This question has been asked multiple times, but none of the answers have been what I've been looking for. I'm curious ... how on earth can one play with less than 1000 dpi?
I recently got the DeathAdder, which goes up to 3500 DPI, and my previous mouse was a cheap Weyes gaming mouse that was changeable up to 2000 DPI. What I noticed at below 1200 DPI was that the mouse seemed to just travel too slowly, as if it was lagging. On insane maps I'd have to pump my hand across the entire screen just to catch one note, and it wouldn't be fast enough to catch the rest.
A lot of the players here say they play on 800 DPI or 400 DPI ... how is that possible? It feels like it crawls. Does it have to do with our screen sizes? My monitor is about 20 inches. Do most players play on a really small screen?
It's been perplexing me because I've been doing some research on DPI (since my Windows settings were so bummed up).
