Can we discuss it on IRC?

  1. 00:24:408 (1) - (Attention) Don't make too much wiggle like that next time. Many novices player are using a pretty high sensitvity and most of them like to follow the sliderballs. So somtimes it'll make the player easily off the ball for some reason. Consider to think about it next time.
  2. 03:17:158 (1) - ^
I make such a sliders a lot, and they are fine, check my ranked map for example, the easy diff has such tings too

  1. 00:32:208 (4) - You can move it to x:200 y:132 to avoid overlapping That's called a stack
  2. 00:49:608 (4,5,1) - You can make a triangle here by move the 5 to x:151 y:106 Uhm what? That's a terrible option. I hope you made a small typo here, as that looks ugly (due to overlaps)
  3. 02:19:558 (1,2) - Make it like this to make it more neat http://puu.sh/hzuJo/5ed082b793.jpg Are you in the right diff? This looks very different to me, and it'll break pattern a lot
  4. 03:13:158 (3,1) - (Attention) Avoid making these tho toughin each other What? There is no object at that time ;-;

[Cdh's Muzukashii]
  1. 00:41:608 (91) - Remove Clap (Change it to Red (I forgot what's it's name)). It has a lower beat, and also it'll be more consistent with 2 beats among it There is a clap in the music
  2. 01:47:558 (21,22,23) - Remove Clap at 22 (Damn, I'm stupid) Nope, this follows vocals much better
  3. 01:55:558 (49,50,51,52,53,54) - I guess this will looks and sounds more awesome http://puu.sh/hEyb9/5cb7839732.jpg Too hard. It is not allowed to have changing streams. Well, it is allowed, but it's too hard, and not recommended
  4. 02:17:958 (97,98,99,100,101,102,103,104,105,106,107,108,109,110,111,112) - To be honest, this isn't bad. But it's boring, Maybe this will looks more fun http://puu.sh/hEDAm/88d9fd3a39.jpg Ugh, ddkkddkkddkk are more boring than dkdkdkdkdk IMO,
  5. 02:59:158 (78) - Same as 00:41:608 (91) There is a clap in the music
  6. 03:01:658 (89,90) - Do another 03:01:358 (87,88) - This will be more comfortable This follows vocals more
  7. 03:08:358 (8,9,10,11,12,13) - I prefer to do it like this (This is a bit nazi) http://puu.sh/hEDPJ/b08dbf2f5b.jpg Meh, feels boring. I prefer this more
  8. 03:14:758 (31,32,33,34,35,36) - Do another 03:08:358 (8,9,10,11,12,13)^^
[Cdh's Oni]
  1. 00:16:008 (48,49,50,51,52,53,54) - Are you sure about this? This seems to be overmapped Uhm, no, it's 1/4
  2. 00:30:808 (146,147,148,149) - KDDK is better for me
  3. 00:38:808 (196,197,198) - Ctrl+G? First tone is lower pitched then the other;- no
  4. 00:57:958 (330,331,332,333,334,335,336,337,338) - This will look better http://puu.sh/hzvCJ/0e15be23d9.jpg Changed it a little
  5. 01:21:558 (506,507,508,509,510,511,512) - Same as 00:16:008 (48,49,50,51,52,53,54) Uhm, no, it's 1/4

I can't find any any problems in osu!mania mode

Allright, that's all. Good luck for the rank stats ;)
Thanks!
I didn't fix anything except oni though

00:16:808 - adding a k here will help to keep rhythm a little more consistent
00:20:008 - adding k here will help continue your k-backbeat rhythm that you started in the first part
00:21:608 - add a k here as well
01:05:958 (69) - this might be better as D, to contrast with the previous kats
01:18:758 (83) - missing a finish here, eh? Match it with the first half of the kiai. Also, this might be better as D, given the following pattern
01:25:158 (90) - according to your rhythm, this should be d
01:26:358 - add a k here for the backbeat
01:27:558 (92) - move this note to 01:29:158
01:27:958 - add a k here for backbeat, and
01:28:358 (93) - change to d
01:31:558 (96) - adding a finish here would be good since after this is a break
02:11:558 - there's no breaks until the end of the kiai? This isn't good for kantan, I suggest deleting the following notes to make breaks:
- 02:14:358 (35) , 02:17:558 (43) , 02:20:758 (51) , 02:23:958 (59)
02:40:358 (6) - this might be better as D, for the same reasons as earlier
03:05:958 (49) - sounds better as D, same as the previous one
03:14:758 - sounds very empty without a d here like earlier

[Futsuu]
00:13:208 (1) - this should be d by your pattern
00:14:408 (3) - and this should be k by your pattern
00:29:208 (29,30) - these two are swapped around by your pattern, again
00:51:608 (24) - this is a little too close to the next note for comfort, I highly recommend shortening the end to 00:52:808
01:15:158 (23) - highly suggest deleting to make a break, since suddenly going without a break can be jarring
01:17:158 (28) - suggest shortening the end to 01:18:358 and adding D at 01:18:758
01:58:758 - again, I highly suggest adding breaks, especially since you're using 1/2 and 1/4 at this part, so delete the following
- 02:01:558 (8) , 02:04:758 (18) , 02:11:158 (32)
02:03:858 (15) - move this to 02:03:958 and change to k, the current placement will confuse futsuu players since it's on a blue timing line
02:14:358 (39) - move this to 02:13:958, it's an odd place for a break, this should sound better
02:15:558 - and add d here, it's another weird place for a break
02:16:358 (43) - change to D, it follows your rhythm better
02:17:558 (46) , 02:20:758 (54) , 02:23:958 (62) - delete these for breaks too
03:18:558 (78) - delete, it's not nice to suddenly throw 1/4 at the player in futsuu

Overall, Kantan and Futsuu are a bit inconsistent, and there's a bit of a difficulty gap between Futsuu and Muzukashii, which could be a problem. Consider these things when looking over your diffs again~

[Cdh's Muzukashii]
00:49:508 (120) - how come this one doesn't have a finish?
other than that, everything seems in order

[Cdh's Oni]
no issues, but spread is wayyy too big from Muzukashii...
The simplest solution is to name this Inner Oni and make one more Oni diff as a bridge. My suggestion is a diff that uses maximum 5-note streams, and no 1/6, add more breaks too.

Map needs a bit more work.
If Cdh makes a new diff, call me back to recheck diff spread~

  1. 00:22:408 (5,6,1) - Give about 3 to 5 degrees rotation, it'll make the map orientation better the currently one is already ok
  2. 00:24:508 (1) - Ctrl + G? It'll make a better flow from slider 5 no it ruin the circular flow
  3. 00:42:608 (3,4,5) - This looks more awesome to me http://puu.sh/hyNpE/ca803ff767.jpg I prefer to keep the stack since I think the stack follow the music
  4. 01:38:758 (4,5) - Make some small DS at 5. The problem because it'll be invisible for anyone who uses Normal type skin I use the default skin, and it's fine
  5. 01:45:158 (4,5) - ^
  6. 01:48:758 (5,6) - This look better for me http://puu.sh/hyNDc/b7b0c1c59a.jpg fixed, it plays better to me
  7. 02:50:258 (2,3,4) - (Attention) Please don't make 1/2 anti jump like this next time. It's too confusing for any player who play this map in first try have you listen the vocal ?
  8. 02:51:058 (5,6,1) - ^
Also, I've fixed the slider mentionned by ziin, + changed the stack leniency mentionned by Flower
thanks for mod !

Yo, mod request on the Std diffs via PM:

General Comments:
  1. Song Folder: No issues
  2. Song Setup: AR0 on the Easy to AR5 on the Normal creates a really awkward jump - I'd make the Easy AR3. Also, enable Widescreen Support for all diffs since you're using a SB
  3. Metadata: SeleP's entry on the Vocaloid wiki lists the song title as "Remember Me" - so you should capitalize the "m"
  4. Timing: No issues
  5. Hitsounds: No issues
  6. AImod:Tags conflict with Nya Nya123's Hard - "Shinnzan" is missing so please add this
Difficulty-Specific Comments:
Easy
00:14:408 (2,3) - Move to x-171 and then move (3) to y-243 to create a neater and more evenly spaced blanket
00:19:208 - The pause feels kinda awkward here, since you're so early into the song I don't think it's really necessary. I'd put a circle (with a clap hitsound) at [x-340,y-144] and then increase the curve of 00:18:008 (4) to create a neat blanket
00:21:208 (3) - The tail is quite a strong beat here, so i would shorten this slider by 1 beat and put a circle (with a finish hitsound) where it currently ends. This becomes clickable, which adds extra emphasis
00:28:808 - I'd add another note here, at [x-348,y-184] with a clpa hitsound to maintain the rhythm. Then you can move 00:29:208 (1,2) down and to the left slightly to create a neat triangle between the new circle, the head of (1) and the tail of (2)
00:37:208 (3) - Increase the curve at the second anchor point slightly to improve the blanket with 00:36:808 (2) - then you can do a similar change with the final two anchor points to better blanket the head of 00:38:808 (1)
00:46:808 (3) - Bring the red anchor point back to 00:47:408 - it will map the vocals better and prevents the slider from looking too squashed
00:53:158 (1) - Move this by x-(+1),y-(+1) to create a more even spacing on the blanket
00:56:358 (1,2) - Personal point, but I'm not a fan of 1/2 sliders in Easy - I feel they're very confusing for newer players due to the head and tail overlap. I would switch these into 1/1 sliders to map the drum track rather than following the vocals (applies to all 1/2 sliders in this diff, won't mention again)
00:57:958 (3) - I'd reduce this to just the one red anchor point - I see you're trying to follow the vocals, but it results in a squashed slider that just looks ugly. Smooth curves are better here IMO, and you might even be able to make a blanket with the head of 00:59:558 (1)
01:04:358 (3) - Super nitpicky, but the tail should be rotated 1 degree anticlockwise to create a better blanket around the head of 01:02:758 (1)
01:07:158 (2,3) - Move these by x-(-2) and x-(-3) respectively to improve the blanket here
01:10:758 (3) - Blanket is a little off here, might be worth moving this to the left and decreasing the curve a little
01:17:158 (3) - Same as at 01:04:358 (3) but clockwise this time
01:24:758 - I'd add a note here to maintain the rhythm, like I suggested for 00:19:208
01:26:758 (3) - And then the same as at 00:21:208 (3) - consider shortening and adding a circle for the strong finish beat
01:49:158 (3) - I like the wobble here to represent the vocal notes, but I feel it (that is the anchor points, not the whole slider) should be moved back by 1/4, i.e. first red point at 01:49:758 and the second at 01:49:858 since 01:49:958 is a held note and feels like it should be a flowing curve to me rather than a bend
01:55:558 (3) - Rotate the tail 1 degree anticlockwise for a better blanket here
02:09:958 (2) - ^ But this one needs to go clockwise
02:11:558 (1) - Increase the curve of this slightly around 02:12:758 (2) - try moving the third anchor point by y-(-4)
02:22:758 (3) - Make more of a curve here to create a better blanket around (4) unless you plan to make any major changes regarding the 1/2 sliders as I mentioned earlier
02:41:558 (2,3) - Move these by y-(+2) for a better and more even blanket
02:45:158 (3,1) - Same as at 00:57:958 (3) - consider reducing this to just the one red anchor point
02:51:558 (3) - Rotate 3 degrees anticlockwise for a neater blanket around 02:49:958 (1)
02:54:358 (2,3) - Move by y-(-2) to create a more even blanket with 02:53:158 (1)
02:57:958 (3) - Same as at 01:10:758 (3) - if you took my suggestions to improve that, do the same thing here
03:04:358 (3) - Same as at 02:51:558 (3) but 3 degrees clockwise this time
03:10:758 (3) - The anchor point at 03:11:958 fits the synth beat well, but you don't notice it because there are too many anchor points here distorting it - try removing a few of them and see if it makes a smoother set of curves

Lapis's Normal
00:16:408 (5) - Consider moving this either up or down slightly to create a bit of movement, linear patterns of notes can be a little uninteresting
00:18:408 (2,3) - Rotate these 4 degress anticlockwise and move to [x-236,y-48] to create a "sort of blanket" here
00:20:008 (3) - If you want to keep this as a linear progression of notes, move this up a little so it's in line with 00:19:608 (1,2)
00:21:208 (4) - Rotate the tail 3 degrees anticlockwise to create a nicer blanket, and also a more equilateral triangle with 00:21:208 (4,5,6)
00:23:608 (2) - Move down to y-356 and rotate the tail 10 degrees clockwise, both to create a neater movement from 00:22:808 (1) and a nice blanket with 00:24:408 (1,2)
00:28:408 (4) - Rotate the tail 3 degrees anticlockwise to create a neater double blanket
00:29:208 (1,2) - Rotate these 3 degrees clockwise and move back into the same position to create another "blanket"
00:30:008 (3,4) - Move these to [x-228,y-216] to create an equilateral triangle and improve the aesthetic here - then move 00:31:208 (5) to [x-364,y-256] and 00:32:008 (6) to [x-440,y-320] to create another neat triangle. You can move 00:32:408 (1,2,3) to the right slightly or change the orientation to maintain DS
00:37:208 (3) - Move this to [x-400,y-64] for a neater blanket (and maybe reduce the curve slightly)
00:40:408 (5) - Rotate the tail 8 degrees anticlockwise to better blanket 00:39:608 (3) and also to create a neat symmetry
00:43:608 (3) - Blanket slightly out, rotate the tail 1 degree clockwise
00:58:758 (5,1) - I think it would look neater if these were symmetrical
01:05:158 (5) - I would Ctrl+H this and move to [x-456,y-144] as I feel this creates a smoother flow between 01:04:358 (4,5,1)
01:07:158 (3) - Increase the curve here a little for a neater blanket
01:08:358 (4) - Rotate this 4 degrees clockwise to perfect the blanket here if you made the change above (otherwise it will be slightly less I think
01:09:158 (1) - Stack on top of the head of 01:07:158 (3) for blanketing again
01:45:158 (2,3) - This overlap annoys me for some reason... I'd Ctrl+J (3) and rotate it about 20 degrees anticlockwise to avoid this, but it's up to you
01:49:159 (4,5) - ^
01:55:558 (3,4,1) - Rearrange these into a slightly more uniform triangle if you can, it would help improve the aesthetic
02:01:958 (7,1) - Swap the NC here for the downbeat (and also to keep the combo length down)
02:03:158 (2) - Rotate the tail 2 degrees clockwise for a neater blanket
02:05:958 (2) - ^
02:07:558 (4) - Reduce the curve here for a neater blanket around 02:06:758 (3)
02:13:558 (5,6) - Try to make these symmetrical if you can, currently they look a bit mis-matched
02:14:958 (7) - If you do this, move down as well, and try to create a more flowing curve by moving (7) down more than (1)
02:20:358 (6) - Move by y-(+8) for a neater blanket with 02:19:558 (5)
02:24:358 (5) - Move this to x-132 so it's in line with 02:23:958 (3,4)
02:45:158 (3) - Rotate the tail 6 degrees clockwise for a neater double blanket
02:45:158 (3,4,5,1,2) - This pattern feels very cramped, and creates some slightly awkward overlaps. Try and reflow this towards the centre of the grid if possible - you have plenty of room to play with so use it!
02:54:358 (4) - Increase the curve a little more here for a better blanket with 02:53:958 (3)
02:55:358 (5,6,7) - Move these down a little, since the flow between 02:54:358 (4,5) is kinda sharp at the moment and doesn't really fit with the rest of the combo
03:07:958 (5) - Rotate the tail 2 degrees clockwise for a better blanket around 03:08:758 (6)
03:15:958 (4) - ^ but anticlockwise
03:18:558 (4) - Not sure I like the random 1/4 slider at the end here... Whilst it does fit the music, I'd prefer to see the repeat removed from 03:17:958 (3) and a 3/4 slider placed at 03:18:358 - you can add a bend at 03:18:558 to emphasise the beat here if you like

Well I would have done more diffs but halfway through Normal my PC crashed and I lost all my work >.< Feel free to call me back in a week or so if you'd like me to look at the other diffs / recheck these ones, but right now I just need to chill out a bit xD

Hopefully this was helpful to you - like I said let me know in a bit if there's anything more I can help you with.

Good luck! (:

As requested! This mapset is already very polished. Almost every thing is just suggestions, except for the things I'll mention on General.

General

  1. The second timing point has a wrong offset. It should be 13.190 instead of 13.208.

  2. Fix Nya Nya123's tags. They conflict with every difficulty on the mapset.

Easy

Increase the AR to 3 or at least 2, the spread between Easy and Normal is really high.

Increase OD to 2 for the same reason I mentioned above.

00:27:208 (2) - You added this circle here, but you didn't add it on 00:28:808, 00:33:608 and etc... and for consistency reasons, if you like consistency, you can either remove this circle and 00:36:808 (2) - and left an empty space or add circles on the empty spaces. My suggestion would be to put circles where you didn't because there's a big emphasizing sound there and you ignored them.

00:43:608 (3) - Probably a nazi thing, but this blanket doesn't fit with the other blankets you made. Doing this would be really better. You can keep it if you like, it's just a personal opinion.

02:24:358 (1) - You should keep the notes as clean as possible, since it's an Easy and the SV is getting faster, stacking notes like this wouldn't be a good idea. I'd suggest you to move it somewhere near x136 y244.

Lapis's Normal

Couldn't find anything wrong. Nice job!

Nya Nya123's Hard

00:14:008 (3) - If you were trying to follow the piano, I guess it's a piano, would be better to start this on the blue tick and end on the next blue tick as well. Example. You should do the same with the following patterns. But if you were trying to follow the drums, ignore this.

01:03:458 - Since you were following the vocal here, would be nice to add a circle here to emphasize it.

01:13:558 (4) - This sudden break here is a bit confusing because you were following the constant 1/2 rhythm, and them you stop with no reason, because the vocal/drums keep following. I'd suggest to add a circle on the red tick.

01:17:058 - Add a circle here for the same motive I mentioned above about the vocal to emphasize it.

01:17:158 (1,2,1) - The DS between 1st (1) and (2) is higher than the 2nd (1) and (2), and the emphasis is higher on the 2nd (1). I'd suggest to increase the DS here 01:17:958 (2,1) - .

03:17:758 (4,1) - Again the DS is really confusing. You should increase it a bit, it's too close. Somewhere near this would be a nice idea.

Kinsane

Couldn't find anything wrong again, except for some confusing spacing. But I guess they're your style. Nice job (:

Fxtra

00:19:608 - I didn't understand why on this section you did it with a lower SV since this is the same section as before, when you used 2,00x SV. In my opinion, would be really better to keep the consistency, but you would have to remap this section. It's your choice c:

01:00:958 (7,8) - Quite low spacing here for such a high SV. Try to use at least 1,0x here.

02:55:358 (3) - In my opinion, as a player, a Ctrl + G here would improve the flow.

03:06:158 - Sounds really empty without a circle here, consider to add one.

Great mapset, I loved the Fxtra. Excelent diff. You have all my support for circle, bubble or qualify icon. Good luck!

no, as long as its icon
The icon wont be popped when updated and replaced by another icon
If its replaced by another icon like taiko: the taiko BN should find and give the link about circle'd icon in this case

Such as: p/3851583
Its still be mania'd icon after have so many update, right?
Unless its bubble, so its can popped

Well, if the mapper have any update on the Standard's diffs, the mapper should explain to BN for another recheck
Anyway, good luck then

Hello! Sorry for a really huge delay, as requested since a long time ago. Let's bright up your map this year \:3/

Circle'd... i guess i'll take care with some Taiko diffs for now, since i didn't have time to mod fully >_<''
[> General <]
  1. - Timing Check: BPM is fine, but what i think of your current first offset on 358, which should be on 388 instead(+30). Make sure you snap objects when agreeing with this suggestion.
  2. - I feel Kantan and Futsuu seems quite having a gap between these two diffs, 1.43 stars > 2.75 stars. Maybe you should make Futsuu a little more easier, at least an avg of 2.40-2.50 stars that might balance the spread.
  3. - Well, somehow you'd better listen to AiMod because it contains some major information(except the SV).
  4. - I can see some of your SB files has unused transparent, I've helped out making them in an acceptable size, that can also less the beatmap folder's size. Download the files any of the two versions in the box below.
Modified SB files
Cropped version
Download me~
Cropped all files accurately, hopefully there might be no empty space of transparent over each file.

Remade version
Download me~
Here is that the SB files i left only one transparency pixel overall each one by one file, to keep visibility.

Current version
Download me~
You'll probably need this one after you disagree with one of the two files above, or tried one and wanting your version back... for backup ofc ;p So use them carefully.
  1. - Everything else is fine!
[> Kantan <]
  1. 00:06:758 (5) - d here would sound better, because the pitch isn't a little high enough.
  2. 00:24:788 (23) - k, might sound better while emphasizing the song track.
  3. 00:43:588 (44,45,46) - k d d? sounds better imo.
  4. 00:48:388 (48) - Same as 00:06:758 (5) -
  5. 01:08:358 (75) - ^
  6. 01:33:109 - An inherited point in breaktime? o.O
  7. 01:44:358 (8) - K, for consistency with Ftsu
  8. - And all those repeated issues further more... this diff is probably fine imo, but there are some patterns are a little hard for beginners to play... idk...
[> Futsuu <]
  1. 00:00:358 (1) - It's better you add k here, for consistency with your Kntn.
  2. 00:22:788 (18,19,20,21,22) - All k? might be the same reason as above.
  3. 00:25:588 (23) - If done above, d here.
  4. 00:34:388 (38) - d maybe? pitch isn't high imo.
  5. 00:40:988 (4,5) - dk? for consistency.
  6. 01:09:958 (12,13) - kd maybe? emphasizing the song track.
  7. 01:15:558 (23,24,25,26) - I prefer making the opposite here, dkdk. Same reason as above.
  8. - Same comment as previous diff, just try to lower the harshness of patterns for this diff to be easier for Futsuu players. It looked much like a muzu diff in my view, so it's better you delete some notes a little space for players ;p

Get me back when you're done, so i can mod the rest.

  2. - I feel Kantan and Futsuu seems quite having a gap between these two diffs, 1.43 stars > 2.75 stars. Maybe you should make Futsuu a little more easier, at least an avg of 2.40-2.50 stars that might balance the spread. 3/4 circles are HEAVILY overrated, 1/2 streams give less difficulty then 3/4 (idk why) Changed a little though
  3. - Well, somehow you'd better listen to AiMod because it contains some major information(except the SV). Kiai is not a problem, the Epilepsy warning is a weird one though, as the pulse is very strong and may be epileptical. If this needs to be changed though, say it. The fact that this is not allowed is also quite new to me

You'll probably need this one after you disagree with one of the two files above, or tried one and wanting your version back... for backup ofc ;p So use them carefully.
  1. - Everything else is fine!
[> Kantan <]
  1. 00:06:758 (5) - d here would sound better, because the pitch isn't a little high enough.
  2. 00:24:788 (23) - k, might sound better while emphasizing the song track.
  3. 00:43:588 (44,45,46) - k d d? sounds better imo. Made k d k, the last one has a higher pitch
  4. 00:48:388 (48) - Same as 00:06:758 (5) -
  5. 01:08:358 (75) - ^
  6. 01:33:109 - An inherited point in breaktime? o.O The time o fi t doesn't matter. Heck, it doesn't even needs to be snapped. Put it here for a safe transition (I could do many other things though)
  7. 01:44:358 (8) - K, for consistency with Ftsu
Made a slight change in Kantan for (22), so it's a D (just as in Kantan)
  3. 00:25:588 (23) - If done above, d here. Why? It's a k in Kantan, so it should be here as well right?
  4. 00:34:388 (38) - d maybe? pitch isn't high imo. Intended to follow the clap
  5. 00:40:988 (4,5) - dk? for consistency.
  6. 01:09:958 (12,13) - kd maybe? emphasizing the song track.
  7. 01:15:558 (23,24,25,26) - I prefer making the opposite here, dkdk. Same reason as above. Intended for claps
  8. - Same comment as previous diff, just try to lower the harshness of patterns for this diff to be easier for Futsuu players. It looked much like a muzu diff in my view, so it's better you delete some notes a little space for players ;p Changed it, removed a few 3/4 (kept in the strong Kiai (2nd part of "rap")

Get me back when you're done, so i can mod the rest.
Thanks, no reply=fixed
Can you please get a little more information about the epilepsy warning?
I'm quite sure in a case with a SB as strong as this it's fine

Hi again! Here's my recheck~ Sorry for another big delay ;A; No kudosu

[> Kantan <]
  1. 02:05:958 (19,20,21,22) - It'd sound better if it's k d k d, well...
  2. 02:17:958 (42,43,44,45,46,47,48) - Probably just my suggestion, i prefer a rhythm like this one here.
  3. 02:37:158 (1,2,3,4,5) - This pattern has inconsistency with Ftsu, there are some notes going through to 3/1 or sth. And Futsuu is likely a little empty.
  4. 02:53:158 (25) - How about a D here? song track sounds intense much.
  5. 03:12:358 (58) - ^, probably the crash sound on the song track.
  6. 03:18:658 (66) - Why would this note be the only 1/4 over all previous patterns? This is a little complex for players imo..
[> Futsuu <]
  1. 01:53:958 (15,1) - K K, for consistency with Kntn.
  2. 01:55:558 (2,1,1) - This is likely some... little overlaps, idk.. but i prefer splitting them for visibility to players.
  3. 02:19:558 (57,58,59,60,61,62,63,64,65,66,67,68,69) - That's somewhat some Ds and Ks streaming, I'm wondering what are you planning to do here. I don't understand this ;A;
  4. 02:54:358 (29,30) - dk? the pitch on (30)'s part sounds a little high.
  5. 03:00:758 (42,43) - ^
  6. 03:12:358 (64) - Same as the previous diff.
  7. 03:18:258 (76,77,78) - A little hard for players to time these objects for a perfect click, seems striking...
  8. - Looks okay to me... maybe this diff should calm down a little bit, so as you ._.''
[> Cdh's Muzukashii <]
  1. 00:01:958 (2) - d maybe? since the light sound on the song track is kinda low to me.
  2. 00:15:988 (10,11,12,13) - I prefer ddd k here, for consistency with Oni.
  3. 00:23:188 (37) - k here, for following some percussion ofc.
  4. 00:25:988 (42) - D? i can hear a cymbal sound on this part.
  5. 00:30:188 (57) - k, same reason.
  6. 00:38:788 (81) - D, just as you've done on 00:45:188 (104) -
  7. 00:39:788 (84) - The rhythm would sound better if you moved this to 00:40:249 - , and ofc the part here sounds really intense imo.
  8. 00:57:358 (18,19) - dd? I guess you should do something different than similar patterns again and again...
  9. 01:01:358 (35,36,37,38) - kk dd, Might help some players for reading the notes smoother.
  10. 01:09:158 (65,66,67,68,69,70,71) - Maybe ddkkddk here instead? Or you can also dkdkddd, just my opinion.
  11. 01:14:158 (87,88,89,90) - Same as 01:01:358 (35,36,37,38) -, ehh well, this also goes to other similar patterns.
  12. 01:28:758 (37) - k, same reason.
  13. - Ehh to avoid huge mods of adding kats and dons, I prefer you should check them all further yourself ;n;
  14. 01:45:958 (16,17,18) - ddk might sound better here imo, maybe dkd too idk.
  15. 02:04:158 (28,29,30,31) - Ctrl + G? idk, but just following the pitch on the song track...
  16. - From 02:11:558 (65) - to 02:20:958 (112) - , this is a reeaaaaally long pattern, since this is Muzu diff. I think you should remove some notes to give players a break and space for playability.
  17. 02:32:558 (32,33) - kd, might follow the song track better imo.
  18. 02:51:758 (47,49) - d? same reason as above.
  19. - If only you follow more of the instruments on the song track, and maybe a little vocals. It wouldn't hurt the diff much...
[> Cdh's Oni <]
  1. - Likely, almost the same issues spotted in Muzu. So i will now, mention the different ones.
  2. 00:13:388 (32) - The part here doesn't seem to be high-pitched, so i think d should fit here.
  3. 00:15:188 (43,44) - kd, for percussion on the song track.
  4. 00:32:788 (157,158,159) - kdd, same reason as above.
  5. 00:53:158 - What's this unsnapped inherited point? or is it snapped to 1/8 or sth?
  6. 01:17:158 (458,459,460,461,462,463,464) - The rhythm of the stream here doesn't really match the music, mostly the song track. So i think you should remake it by adding the ks on 1/1 or 1/2 beat, it feels off on 1/4s.
  7. 01:18:958 (473) - Same as 00:13:388 (32) -
  8. 01:27:958 (529,530,531,532,533) - How about kkddk here? or kkddd maybe..
  9. 01:40:458 (610) - Move this k to 01:40:558 - for avoiding off-beats? There are more of these, so try finding them.
  10. 02:05:158 (754) - D? There's this cymbal sound idk..
  11. 02:24:258 (897,898) - This is unrankable, a note that overlapped a finisher note. Seems really noticeable, so it's best you avoid this matter.
  12. 02:34:558 (949) - What does this K follows? it doesn't seem fitting on the part imo.
  13. 03:13:758 (247) - d maybe, i'm not sure, but this is overusing kats.
  14. 03:18:558 (279,280) - Same as 02:24:258 (897,898) -
  15. - I also wanted to say, SV changing like on 02:40:577 - , or 02:52:472 - , is surely unrankable. It's quite too fast for reading the notes and coming out all of a sudden, so it's best you remake to a normal 1.00x inherited point.
  16. - Some super long patterns are quite striking, but in the other hands, i also seen some nice patterns. It would've been perfect if you only follow most tracks on the music ;p

Ehhh, i'm not sure about adding an epilepsy warning in Taiko. It seems quite uncomfortable for me to taiko icon this. But i'll find some answers/opinions from other BNs for assuring the general checks and other issues found here.
I'll check back again, once i'm done!

With the old version WITH Widescreen, the WHOLE Pulse was misaligned according to the BG
I believe pulse(2).png was of incorrect size
Now it suddenly got changed (I believe because of a change in pulse2.png (or I maybe accidentally didn't change that one file >_<)

Oh, I saw Blocko (O!M BN) has this map in his mod list :3

General

Naming: There's only a set of diffs for one keymode here, so remove "7K" from the mania difficulties

Spread: The gap between 7K Reika's Maximum and [Shi-Ra]'s 7K Forgotten is pretty wide. Reika's diff only has a few hard parts in there, but the rest of it seems pretty easy compared to them.
Highly suggest you'd make Reika's Maximum a bit more dense in some parts (for example, the ones that only have 1/2 streams with a few chords on it can use more notes), so at least the Star Rating will be more balanced out or at least above 4, and the note count differences aren't that huge.

SVs (for mania diffs only):
01:58:758 to 02:11:558 - A long section for a higher speed change is cool, but it's a little bit much considering this isn't the part of the map that warrants such speed change, yet.
Consider reducing the SV to 1.01x to 1.02x.

02:11:558 to 02:24:358 - This part made my acc go down oop
I'd really recommend slowing the SV down to at least 1.03x to 1.04x. That way, the player will notice the speed change but still have at least enough window to accurately hit.

02:53:158 to 03:05:958 - Doesn't really warrant a speed boost here, other than this one being a pitch higher than the previous Kiai.
Consider reducing the SV to 1.00x.

Change the GDer's name to Yooh since he had a name change.

00:13:188 to 00:19:588 - I'm a bit confused with the layering here. On one part, the synth wasn't fully followed, and on the next one, it is.
Fully map the synth here so players can understand what you're layering here.

00:52:788 (52788|5) - Snap LN's end up to 00:53:158 - .

00:53:158 to 00:57:958 - Add a note for every clap heard here for some chord consistency, and to keep things interesting.

01:48:158 (108158|2,108258|6) - The vocal doesn't actually change pitch mid-way, so change this to a 1/2 LN for the vocal.

02:10:558 - Add a note on 5 for the kick
02:10:958 - Same as above, but on 3

02:40:358 - Add a note here for more impact

02:58:458 (178458|4) - I think you misplaced this at 02:58:658 - if you're still following the vocal.

03:05:958 to 03:10:758 - Fully map the synth here, too, at least to be consistent with layering.

00:14:288 (14288|0) - Move to either 2 or 3. Most of the synths there don't have that as a minijack, so this is just for consistency.

00:25:688 (25688|4,25788|3,25888|4) - Ctrl + H and move 00:25:788 (25788|0) - to 5 for hand balance

00:27:388 (27388|6) - What's the LN for?

00:37:988 to 00:38:788 - Personally, I think this part stands out a bit too much as we're still just starting off of the song. Also somewhat of a little diff spike because of the chordstreams there. Nerf this a bit?

00:38:788 to 00:51:588 - As I said in the General section, this part could use more notes. The chord consistency is also pretty off there, as some of the chords there are single notes later on, even though they warrant enough for a 2-note or 3-note chord.
A combination of 3-note chords as kick and clap or kick and crash and 2-note chords as the kick would work wonders at this part, as it will make this section pretty consistent with the chords.

00:53:158 to 00:59:558 - Again, could use more notes here. Same suggestion as above, but try to follow the sounds here a lot more.

00:59:558 - Add a note on 2 for more impact

01:01:158 to 01:04:358 - Add a note for every kick that you hear in this part to fully follow most of the sounds heard.

01:05:958 to 01:12:358 - Same suggestion about consistency in this section. Map in more notes.

01:15:558 - Add a note here for crash impact

01:16:358 - Same as above

01:17:158 to 01:18:758 - 4-note chords during a stream might be a bit much here. Reduce to 3-note chords?

01:29:958 (89958|6,90058|6,90258|6,90458|6,90558|6,90758|6,90858|6,91058|6,91258|6,91358|6) - Spread this out more. This is rather uncomfortable to play on the right hand, especially with the notes near the jack section.

01:41:958 - Add a note on 1 for the crash

01:51:158 (111158|1,111258|1,111358|1) - What are these minijacks for? I don't think this warrants a jack, and it looks out of place for this section.
Same for these ones: 01:52:358 (112358|4,112458|4,112558|4) - and 01:53:558 (113558|5,113658|5,113758|5) -

01:58:758 to 02:09:958 - This is a good time to add more notes as we're in the Kiai. 3-note chords for the kick/clap/vocal or kick/finish/vocal and 2-note chords for the kick/vocal would be wonderful here as it'll capture the feeling of the song.

02:09:958 to 02:11:558 - This definitely needs more notes here. It feels rather unimpactful without a lot of them present, especially when we're building up to the next Kiai.
As a visual, make it similar to this one at 01:55:558 - .

02:11:558 to 02:17:958 - Also another good time to map in more notes. Again, 3-note chords for the kick/clap/vocal or kick/finish/vocal, and 2-note chords for kick/vocal.

02:17:958 to 02:21:158 - Add a note for every crash and clap that you can hear here. Also, randomize the notes more for more variety.

02:21:158 to 02:22:758 - Make the patterns here to have a better flow with each other for easier playability.

02:22:758 to 02:24:358 - Same suggestion as above, but somewhat like this for the best effect: http://puu.sh/iTPQY/06b2af2e01.png

02:24:358 to 02:30:758 - This section is less dense than 17VA's 7K Hyper, which should be the other way around. Add notes here to show some difficulty progression between diffs.

02:30:658 - Add a note here for the snare.

02:52:958 - Add a note and 02:53:058 - add a note here for the synth.

02:59:558 to 03:01:358 - The LNs here seem to be early by 1/4.

03:02:758 to 03:04:358 - Music is building up to the chordstreams, so add more notes here.

03:04:358 to 03:05:958 - This should be like a mirrored version of 02:51:558 to 02:53:158 - to show off some variety here.

03:11:158 - Add 2 notes here for the kick and clap.

03:15:558 to 03:18:658 - I think this ending isn't really impactful enough. There's a mappable 1/4 stream there which suits the ending and it'll give a better feeling off of it. Add a 1/4 stream in between, but be sure to avoid any minijacks for maximum comfortability.

Somewhat like this: http://puu.sh/iTBzx/c8e6588c4a.png

00:34:588 - Same as above, making the pattern easier to read will make this easier to do. http://puu.sh/iTBDk/3b75fa95ce.png

01:15:558 (75558|2) - Move to 4 for a more comfortable approach

01:21:358 (81358|3,81958|2) - Ctrl + J. Both for easier play and reading.

01:31:558 (91558|6) - Move to 4 to avoid minijack

02:27:558 (147558|3) - Remove to prevent minijack?

02:47:758 (167758|4,167958|1,168058|2,168158|3) - Move all notes one column to the left for easier play

02:54:158 (174158|6) - Move to either 4 or 5, same reason as above

02:59:258 (179258|4,179358|3,179458|2) - Move all notes one column to the left, same reason.

Well, that's all I have for the map.
Good luck!

Hi,

[SB]
I see you made some changes. Here's a few more:
https://copy.com/2hWAAlk6gj7edgaY
  1. Center the pulse as it expands
  2. use loops to reduce the OSB complexity
  3. remove excess transparency (all of it, you don't need transparency when you use additive blending)
  4. Move background items into the background so you can turn off layers properly
  5. Compress images to save space
Note: I don't seem to have "whait.jpg" in my folder. I don't think I deleted it? Ring.png isn't used anywhere.

[Failed Consciousness]
sorry I can't mod this. The only things wrong with it are quality related patterns. I'm of the opinion that in a 6*+ difficulty, everything goes so long as it doesn't break the rules. The QATs will almost certainly find issues with it and cite quality issues. There were no errors I could see.

I will say it's horrendously overmapped, which is something they might bring up. I could do an overmap mod if you really want, but I don't think you care about overmapping. PM me if so.
17VA
00:13:188 to 00:19:588 - I'm a bit confused with the layering here. On one part, the synth wasn't fully followed, and on the next one, it is.
Fully map the synth here so players can understand what you're layering here.
- I followed only main drums here, and it's very hard when I add notes like this.

03:05:958 to 03:10:758 - Fully map the synth here, too, at least to be consistent with layering. - ^

Applied all things without this.

Thanks,

pls add 17VA in tag part ww
