Thanks for the mod ;o~. Yea I don't usually play with hitsounds enabled so I'm just barely scraping by lol. Read Kibbleru's guide, but i think my problem lies more in identifying finishes, and complex rhythms like the 3/4's are just over me :P.

- 04:01:908 (4,5,6,7,8,9,10,1) - good rhythm. it works well as is but im not sure if the second set of triplets flow very well with the two circles preceding it. though it may not suit your style, maybe angling the triplets in a way that would make the pattern more comfortable to play can work. change if you think this is reasonable.
- 04:22:221 (4,5,6,1) - very unsure about whether this can work or not in terms of spacing. the music doesn't exactly feel stronger at this part to use these wide jumps. keep it if you believe the spacing works just fine with the music
- 04:37:689 (2,3,4,5) - i was thinking you could ctrl+G 04:37:689 (2,5) - and ctrl+G 04:37:845 (3,4) - but then i dunno if that works o.o this is just a mere suggestion so ya use whatever works with you
- 05:33:002 (5,1) - missing notes, but really i think that it can work as is anyway

  2. In my opinion you should raise HP up to 1 or 2, because not quite make sense if HP is 4 since it's an marathon extreme diff and maybe should lower OD by 1 to make it balance
  3. Really no tags? well in my opinion you can add the trcklist which is played on this medley, so people is easier to find this map
  4. BG is curently fine, but can be maximized to 1366x768
  5. How about you set the slider tick rate into 2? because you have slow down here 11:22:377 (1) - 12:26:595 (1) - so I believe for more readable it's better to add one more tick rate
  6. One last thing, why don't you add some SB? I mean some text that indicate the transition of the song (like song title that played on this medley), because tbh I don't really familiar with anime song and not really know when the song is over and begin the new one

Thanks for the mod :). Very helpful ^^. I'll definitely recheck for NC's and ya definitely Hitsounds. I think NC pattern is okay since i NC every measure, unless there are streams (then its half-measure)

  2. 00:29:486 - Try to make the stream start here, the sound found here is strong enough to warrant this imo.
  3. 00:29:565 (3) - Remove clap to keep the hitsounds consistent, nothing changed here on the song
  4. 00:30:971 (3,4,5,1) - I know you like jumps, but try to turn these into triples. The skipped sounds are very noticeable when playing.

  2. 09:44:642 - and 09:44:798 - Continue the stream in those beats. There are clearly audiable 1/4 beats here.
  3. As soon as Guren no Yumiya starts (10:12:377 - ) you start to use a lot of streams. ;w; Create a bit more of variety, using the 1/4 sliders or other stuff. ;w; It's boring, tiring and monotonous to tap-stream-tap-stream (and so on) during this part, until 10:21:127 - when you actually started to variate a bit more.
  4. 11:24:720 - It's actually in here where you should start using the normal hitsounds again, since 11:24:252 (2,3) - are still inside the "soft part". So, you should change the sampleset of those to soft.
I think that's it. Sorry for such a minimal mod but I think this map is too good. >.<
Also, don't map a lot to the metronome. You spam place lots of 1/2 notes everywhere, but I think you can do a bit more of variety, like mapping hold sounds in a more remarkable way (1/1 sliders?) or using more reverses on your 1/2 sliders (I think you don't have 1/2 sliders that do reverse lol). It makes map a bit more fun and interesting (in this sense, your 3/4 sliders helped a lot :^)

Thanks a bunch, LixRei :). I also fixed the first few sliders of the map that you mentioned in #modhelp. Yea, I much prefer simple 1/2 rhythm but i'll try and put some more 1/1 sliders in when i find a good opportunity :3.

Yea, that's what I'm aiming for xD. Those who want a challenge can enjoy the jumps/streams. I doubt they'll have much trouble with HP, and those who want to enjoy the marathon have the benefit of low HP so they don't need to play on NF or something.

The other Anison Sprint map was HP 5 and OD 7 But i wanted mine to have a higher OD so i compensated with lower HP xD.

  4. your maps could really use some curved sliders imo. i understand it's your style, but some curvy sliders would help this map improve a ton
  5. 03:39:721 (5) - place this on 03:40:190 (1) - 's slider tail. imo better emphasis. after this move 03:39:877 (6) - to x:377 y:240 for a more geometric shape
  6. 03:47:065 (4) - nc for consistency

  4. 08:01:752 (5,6) - Flow here also feels awkward because of the sharp angles. Perhaps stacking the 5 over the 4 would create more emphasis and re-positioning the 6 to this slider end 08:00:814 (5) -
  5. 08:38:470 (8) - There's a strong emphasis on this note that the pattern doesn't help support.
  6. 08:43:783 (3) - Would prefer a straight slider.

  5. 08:38:470 (8) - There's a strong emphasis on this note that the pattern doesn't help support. Not really strong, but I get ur point.. will try something different here maybe. since I realize the spacing from 7>8 is less than from 6>7.
  6. 08:43:783 (3) - Would prefer a straight slider. I like the way this pattern sets up a blanket with 7 xD.
  7. 09:09:877 (1,3) - If the 3 slider imitates the direction of the 1 slider, it would compliment the music a little more. Though, the pattern you have here works too I suppose. Wouldn't flow as nice imo.
  8. 09:17:377 (1,3,1,3,1,2,3,4) - Playing with SV increases and more spacing can help emphasize where the music picks up. I get what you mean with spacing/emphasis here. Changed, the spacing but no SV's :P.
  9. 09:44:877 (1,2,3) - Slider, note, slider, note would compliment the dominant part of the music. Calm part, so I think the simpler metronome rhythm works just as well.
  10. 10:28:627 (1,2,3,4,5) - Feel awkward. The jumps feel fine for me. I don't take flow into account as much for jumps. More of the motion i want them to achieve. In this case it's reversing the flow set up from the pattern before.
  11. 10:55:345 (4,5,6,7) - Flow killer :s This is intended for up/down motion, Doesn't really kill flow, since jumps basically move in sharp angles anyways lol.
  12. 10:56:283 (2) - Many pianos in this song I would've loved to see streams ;_; I know it'll never happen lol Nope lol.

Also it would have to be 3 kick sliders since the 1st stream is only a set of 6. I prefer streams to kick sliders tho.

Thanks for the mod Kroytz :D. Ended up fixing some jump patterns to make them hopefully more intuitive to play xD
