I'm going to challenge your notion and say that that's not the case. God bar any other faggotron come in this thread since you've filled our yearly quota for sucking dicks.
You can't make your map ranked by having a nice song on it. I will admit that if you pick a popular song from a popular show (e.g. Kancolle, Attack on Titan) you will get more attention from modders and players alike, but at the end of the day you still have those ranking criteria waiting for you back home to shove hot coal up your ass. Sadly enough, you do have to put in effort there, Sally.
