00:59:354 (3) - I honestly think you should place this 1/2 later, that rhythm is really hard to guess, and having the downbeat not mapped (here especially, it is really strong imo) appears really odd to me. Would be great if you could somehow map both, maybe with a 1/2 slider?

Too many red tick stuff, too long NCs, I'm not sure whether that easy is really "good". I mean, of course it works, but using that many red tick rhythms is really weird to play, especially in easy diffs. On the other hand, it offers more variation, so idk what to think tbh. As said, it certainly works somehow, and at least it's not filled with circles to follow everything unlike my easy / normals.

Rename to Normal, no way this is an Easy. Complicated rhythm, stacks, unconsistent spacing (not in a bad way), well.

Yet, I think that one is really misleading, and could cause frustration. Place at another spot would be the solution. If you rename it to normal it's fine.

I'd ask maeg about renaming the diff to Novice or smth

It's a 1/1 rhythm post-slider. Those tend to be the most natural rhythms to play.

Too many red tick stuff, too long NCs, I'm not sure whether that easy is really "good". I mean, of course it works, but using that many red tick rhythms is really weird to play, especially in easy diffs. On the other hand, it offers more variation, so idk what to think tbh. As said, it certainly works somehow, and at least it's not filled with circles to follow everything unlike my easy / normals.

Yeah, this map was hard to make not boring as shit and still play as an Easy. Most suggestions I have seen so far really don't work for how the map is constructed though, so it's hard to take any suggestions without essentially remapping the entire thing since it would change the emphasis beats for the entire song (I guess except for the kiai). As it is now, the low approach rate and number of hit objects to keep track of on the screen at once should serve as a good guide in case the rhythms escape those that are playing.

but in all seriousness the current bg is pretty gross (especially when upscaled) and I suggest finding something cleaner. though I did legitimately try to improve it in some way, and this is what I ended up with. whether or not it's actually any better is still up in the air...

Have you actually playtested how the HP drain plays with artificial breaks to see how difficult it is to recover HP? Are you talking about ghost notes? Because I only spot wrongly snapped objects at 01:31:662 (1,2,3,4).
My suggestion is to just use a single slider at 01:32:123 hue.

01:27:970 (11) - must end on 01:28:354 () there is noticeable sound
01:30:739 (6) - sounds here are really in 1\8 gg wp

You have some unsnapped green timing sections before kiai section. Also, why inv's Normal has higher stars than your Easy (even though Normal is definitely harder than Easy when I testplayed it)?

02:56:123 (8,9) - Weird flow between 8 and 9. Try reverse selecting 9 for better flow.
