i've already spent around 50-6 buckets on e-3(on fking medium. well, i also use them at least to the green hps who's one hit to becoming yellow)

everytime i hit the maelstrom node, someone in my fleet is bound to get red..

gdi i don't i'll still have stuff the use to clear e-4 and 5 even on easy(bec. i am going to run them on easy, my goal is now dead set on the ships and only the ships)

IMPORTANT: READ THIS POST IF YOU PLAY OFTEN

A bug has been reported on the jp wikiwiki of KanColle, apparently, a display bug can lure your actual ship health and the game can consider it Taiha (heavy damage) while it looks like it's only Chuuha. (half damage)

Update: Only happens on poorly-programmed third-party software it seems. Just clear your cache often if you use KCV and it'll probably be fine.

Finally cleared E5 Normal today.
Chikuma, Musashi, Fusou-sisters-K2, Bismarck Drei, Kaga
Ooyodo, Tone, Kiso, Shigure, Yukikaze, Kitakami
Node Support: Ayanami, Shimakaze, Kirishima, Nagato, Hiryuu, Souryuu
Boss Support: Verniy, Yuudachi, Ryuujou, Junyou, Kongou, Hiei

Sparkled Kaga and Chikuma because CV Oni always wrecks them, and originally the stronger Node Support fleet was doing Boss Support, but I couldn't even reach boss so I just switched them around in the last round.

Green T on CV Oni node but fortunately support shelling + torps + Musashi's first attack left only CV Oni, who orange'd Yamashiro before being shot to orange herself, ensuring she couldn't try and fuck up my fleet 2 more times. Then she sank. Fuck that bitch.

Reached boss, and ended day battle with all fleet 2 ships in perfect condition and BB Oni at orange. All 3 NB gear proc, Ooyodo shuts her down to red so she never gets a NB hit off, and then everyone just wails on her with Yukikaze CI on her last 7 HP. Super KTKM sama didn't get a chance to shine but it's ok

Unfortunately I accidentally deleted by entire KCV screenshot folder last night and didn't notice I was screenshotting to a nonexistent destination so all I have is this picture. Not even the E1-E4 images remain other than what I've already put to imgur. Sad.

so i finally finished E-3 and went E-4 easy. however, the drops(esp on pre-boss and boss) were shit

thinking of going medium again but my experience with E-3 scarred me.. is E-4 going to be much more painful?

E-4 is easier than E-3 in my opinion. You don't have a shit preboss and your route is fixed with 1 FBB 1 BB 2 DD and 2 CV. (so was E-3 with whatever comp I don't remember)

The only problem will obviously be the boss ...

CV Hime can and will one shot whoever she wants. The fact that you only have one fleet makes the boss harder to deal with. Ultimately, you can go yasen with cut-in setups on lucky ships and pray for the fatal hit to happen.

Don't forget the support expeditions along the way if your resources are high enough. Also, Unryuu drops on this map.

I never tested it myself, but it is said to be easier than most nodes above. (mainly because G has transport ships) Note that you have to bring Naka, Agano, or Maikaze & Nowaki together (not fully confirmed I believe) to go there. The northern path also contains a maelstrom at A if you have 2 FBB.

I find this path a bit scary because of the night battle preboss at I. (Yeah I don't like yasen, sorry Sendai)
If you don't want to bother with this, just take the conventional B-F-H-J-K route, it's not very hard this way.

For E4 easy, 2CAV/2CA/2DD goes south iirc. The key with this fleet is to give CV Hime only one shelling phase, before wrecking her in NB. The NB preboas is a joke; only the Ri is threatening and she's on the third position so there's a chance your side will KO her before she CIs you.

Only works before the last kill because after that CV Hime brings a BB with her so then you should take heavier stuff.

I'm using 2DD/sBB/fBB/CLT/Naka for farming south route.

Looks like there's a new API for KanColle. They patched up the API links, I think.

Is there a way to get your API link as of now?

Hell if I know. I'm using an API link just fine. I use KC3 to automatically fetch an api link for me.

i have the exact lineup except i have a carrier for a clt and Agano(my Naka is jinxed for some reason.) instead :s

She's a fairly rare sub (I don't think she can be constructed), and there are only like 7 subs in the game right now

..Wow I think I'm actually jelly.
I managed to get Yamagumo for myself though. I wish I could've gotten Unryuu though :/. If only I weren't so busy with school and... life issues.

@Jinxy: Shhhhhhhhh, grats. You farmed E-4 for the most part right ? There's no way you could farm expensive maps like E-3 or E-5....

The post-farm event aka E-6 gave me no exclusive drops from those maps but 2 ships I desired for a very long time.
Basically, them =D

The first one dropped at E-2 (F node S rank), and the latter at E-4. (Boss node S rank)

And since the Valentines CG are about to disappear.....
I'll keep this somewhere

Anyway, the stuff I got & used has been summed up right here. (collapsible tables below the event banner)

I farmed E1 for the most part actually. 300 S ranks. 2 Tokitsukaze and 1 Taigei along with a bunch of subs notably, but I didn't need any of them save for the first Tokitsukaze. Still no Akashi.

I don't think it's impossible to farm E3 with what I had but I didn't need anything from there. And Isokaze can go screw off, hiding in the shithole of an E5. My aims were only Akashi and Unryuu, Yamagumo and Asashimo were freebies from E4.

Still no Amatsukaze but she'll eventually drop in my 3-5 monthlies anyway

Yep, I was too afraid to go Normal or Hard. Maybe I am not a man yet ....

By the way, a new quest has been added with the new update, apparently we can exchange some stuff with this thing.

Everything.
Grind up your ships, clear new maps, build new ships, develop new equipment, spam expeditions, do dailies.
But mostly train your ships.

You'll figure out your own priorities once you get a better grasp of the game.

better take it easy with the hq levels though, the higher your level, the difficulties will also increasing.

you have to insert that while playing the game using the vpn, same goes for changing the fleet name.

I have been training Hibiki at 1-5-a with the equipment I crafted but that only works for the loli ships

personally, i would suggest 3-2a for BB/CV/CVL leveling, but can get quite boring ( for me at least )

Maybe you didn't click the confirmation button on the right. Or if you already did, you're playing through the API method. (without log and stuff)
It doesn't allow you to fill in the blank your personal message & your fleet names. It works on KanColle Viewer though, you may want to give it a shot.

Speaking of which, did you guys bothered with proper fleet names ?
