Also alternated since my first week of play, but I actually switched to single tapping recently. I'm not going to say which method is objectively superior, but I will say that I skyrocketed in rank at about the same time that I switched. I will also say that there are two specific things that became a lot easier with single tapping: speed (streams, bursts, and triples) and accuracy. If you find yourself having trouble with either of those things, I would, in my unprofessional opinion, consider switching. Single tapping is pretty easy and shouldn't take you more than a day or so to get decent-ish at, and it's not like you're going to lose your alternating ability anyway (for whatever that's worth).Multtari wrote:
Pros:
Every cons is just me assuming things since I've done alternating from start. Took me around a week as starter for it to become a second nature.
If you alternate properly it should have no effect on accuracy or streams. One week is nowhere near long enough to learn proper alternating which is probably why you had trouble.zwoots wrote:

I think you misunderstood what I said. I said that I alternated since my first week. Meaning from the first week up until when I switched to single tapping. So, not counting the months when I didn't play at all, that's about 3 or 4 months of learning to alternate.B1rd wrote:
