So.. how do you approach streams?
do you keyboard mash through hit hoping for the best ?
Do you actually try to read each note? do you alternate through the entire stream?
just interested how other players stream

You start learning it by counting time and alternating fingers according to it.
With experience it begins to become automatic and you just hit at the right speed. It's a combination of experience (knowing what note to end on comes mostly from experience, for example) and just training to alternate to the beat.

I started off by counting in my head and alternating fingers, outside of playing, to get as accurate as possible.

I try to feel the BPM and start streaming. I mostly fail.

I look at them as a bunch of notes that I have to hit twice as fast as the notes I am single tapping.

Usually I try to approach them at a rate of 9 but 8 is fine too. Any higher or lower than that and you'll probably run into problems.

Listen to the beat of the song. Streams are usually fourths of the beat, so use the beat as a guidance to help stream.
Also, when you are in a middle of a stream, don't stop or slow down. Keep tension in your fingers and carry on in the stream, because freezing or slowing down midstream is the lead to a bunch of 100s or 50s in your score.

Nothing wrong with a full 100 stream - I do it all the time.

Give them a donation or a sub so a message pops on stream and hopefully the stream senpai will notice you
