We've talked about general things yesterday, as mp3 / source / ending <80% / circle size, and now I'm going to mod it more.
[General]
Romanised Title should be "Makuai ~Amefuru Mori~". You can add your current title to the tags though.
You can add these tags: "c79 comiket 東方アイリッシュ 東方風神録 ~ Mountain of Faith" 東方アイリッシュ is album title and 東方風神録 ~ Mountain of Faith is game title.
[Easy]
maybe increase overall distance snap by 0.1? I don't really like how is every object touching each other, looks really unpolished
00:11:877 (1) - i wouldn't recommend to start easy/normal difficulty with notes because it can be hard to get 300 here, because you don't hear any rhythm before
[Rain]
A lot of unsnapped things. But you can leave them, because I asked TicClick for help with timing and he promised to provide it at evening.
00:11:877 (1) - same thing as with Easy
01:14:048 (3,4) - this pattern is pretty clustered and hard to read, maybe better to leave that sound and use 2 1/2 sliders?
01:16:819 (3) - how about using slider here that ends here 01:17:312 - here? will looks much easier with that kickslider before that looks questionable
01:23:341 (2) - you didn't use such a "fast" notes before, maybe better to ignore this sound and delete that note? it looks just pretty sudden because you didn't use it before and can be pretty hard

Now let's wait for TicClick.

01:14:048 (3,4) - this pattern is pretty clustered and hard to read, maybe better to leave that sound and use 2 1/2 sliders? nah, the melody's pretty much loud here so i'm leaving this here
01:16:819 (3) - how about using slider here that ends here 01:17:312 - here? will looks much easier with that kickslider before that looks questionable adjusted part
01:23:341 (2) - you didn't use such a "fast" notes before, maybe better to ignore this sound and delete that note? it looks just pretty sudden because you didn't use it before and can be pretty hard adjusted part because i don't wanna remove this

Now let's wait for TicClick.
i swear those circle-size rules are making me so mad that i won't try to rank maps like this anymore after this. but thanks for your mod Kyubey, now it's way more adjusted in some parts~

Yeah but when the song forces you to map that slowly, you cannot make a hard overmapped diff just for the sake of "being allowed to use small CS". I wanted to use that CS because the song is very calm and the background "dark", and the slow rhythm make me want to do this. If it's not allowed because it's "too easy", i don't understand. It's the hardest diff i made (along with an even more Easy diff), and yet i'm not free with settings. (not talking about extremes like AR/OD10).

Do you mean the whole part? Because i listened carefully (playback rate 25%) and i found out those 5 sliders (+4 next ones) are delayed 1/16ms later, so instead of moving all of them in weird yellow tick, i added a red section 1/16ms earlier (here) and added one when it comes back to normal. I think it's way more better like that.
There is also one other part just after that moment (probably around 1:18-1:20) that i find weird ; yellow tick sounds so much better than normal one, and next slider sounds better 1/16 (or 1/8) ms earlier. As i'm not in-game atm, i can't tell exactly which moment it is: but i know that it's two -longs- sliders in the top (left-corner) of the screen, if that can help you.

I'm not saying that the timing is bad, it's the contrary since it helped me a lot with most parts. Except the parts i mentioned, there's no problems as i -fastly- checked.

I also reduced some end of sliders to 10%. To me, they sound better if i end them earlier as the flute ends earlier than white tick (but later than blue tick) when we listen to it. Happened twice, and i wonder if i should keep them or move to -weird- tick again.
Didn't uploaded yet, i'll do it tomorrow probably.
TicClick
Please stop using 25% playback as it distorts the audio and you are unable to hear it unchanged; for details, talk to Charles.
Have you play tested the said parts and found them still being off?
It would also help a lot more if you posted more timestamps with exact changes and way less words

The parts sounds "correct" but it sounds better with some -slight- changes. Yes i tested them with normal audio and it does.
Sorry about timestamps, wasn't in-game to link them. Will surely link them when i'll be home.

EDIT: here are the moments that are questionable to me

  1. 01:10:548 (1,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4) - as there isn't any red section around and blue tick sounds weird, i added a red section at this moment for this part, changed back at 01:18:375.
  2. 01:21:962 (2,3) - Outside the problem that the slider overlaps the red section (not blaming anyone ofc), i moved 01:23:578 earlier because it sounds better, and not only in 25% playback, in 100% too. Added another section to "revert" back the delay after this slider.
Updated with your timing and some of my -slight- changes, i think that they're better but i'm not claiming it as ready yet, needs to be checked.
TicClick
will see tomorrow
edit: change 01:23:537's bpm to 89 to fix the snapping of slider tail (there's about 3ms difference on the end, resnap it too) and you're good to go

but please, show this to someone else

oh, and 01:21:961 (2) - should not be snapped to 1/8. use 1/2 instead solved

Ekoro
timing issue solved with TicClick ; huge thanks to him !

irc chat
2015-02-04 19:40 Ekoro: Well, i do agree with 89 bpm section (and 3 ms resnap for next section)
2015-02-04 19:41 Ekoro: although 1/2 snap is obvious, it doesn't sound good (too earlier) and only yellow tick solves it
2015-02-04 19:41 Ekoro: but i don't know if i can move the red section 1/8ms earlier
2015-02-04 19:41 TicClick: don't
2015-02-04 19:41 Ekoro: this is only the part that tickle me, everything else is fine to me now
2015-02-04 19:41 TicClick: for me they both sound equally good/bad
2015-02-04 19:42 TicClick: depends on what you hear as the sound's end
2015-02-04 19:42 Ekoro: i don't know how to explain this, but well, i want to end the slider in the "main melody"
2015-02-04 19:42 TicClick: and whether you consider the echo significant enough to stretch sliders according to it
2015-02-04 19:44 TicClick: well, leave it like that if you wish
2015-02-04 19:45 TicClick: there are only sliders around, I don't think a random offbeat will throw someone off
2015-02-04 19:46 TicClick: are you dead? stunned? please say something
2015-02-04 19:46 Ekoro: haha sorry, was brb for a very short time
2015-02-04 19:46 TicClick: or you may be away
2015-02-04 19:47 Ekoro: it was originally circle+slider here, kyubey suggested me to change it so it was the good way i guess
2015-02-04 19:47 Ekoro: but since you suggested me to change to 89 bpm, 01:23:537 (3) - the beginning is unsnapped
2015-02-04 19:47 Ekoro: idk if that's an issue
2015-02-04 19:48 TicClick: uhh
2015-02-04 19:48 TicClick: I think you changed the wrong offset
2015-02-04 19:49 Ekoro: oh wait
2015-02-04 19:50 Ekoro: yeah it changed to 01:23:342 for wrong reason, now it's gone
2015-02-04 19:50 Ekoro: except that sliderend, everything should be fine
2015-02-04 19:50 Ekoro: should i get timing checked again or is it ready to go
2015-02-04 19:50 TicClick: for slider end, just resnap the offset that's near it
2015-02-04 19:50 TicClick: there should be about 3ms of difference
2015-02-04 19:51 Ekoro: i meant this 01:21:961 (2) actually
2015-02-04 19:51 Ekoro: i fixed the 3-ms difference and resnapped every notes
2015-02-04 19:51 TicClick: you know, I am not sure what you fixed anymore
2015-02-04 19:51 Ekoro: haha, well, let me resume
2015-02-04 19:51 TicClick: can you please send me .osu without uploading it to BSS first
2015-02-04 19:52 Ekoro: oh
2015-02-04 19:52 Ekoro: sure
2015-02-04 19:52 Ekoro: http://puu.sh/ftdtv.osu here
2015-02-04 19:56 TicClick: :(
2015-02-04 19:56 TicClick: the unsnapped tail still bothers me
2015-02-04 19:56 TicClick: I'll probably come up with something that formally fixes it
2015-02-04 19:56 TicClick: and we're done
2015-02-04 19:56 TicClick: wait till I message you
2015-02-04 19:56 Ekoro: sure
2015-02-04 19:57 Ekoro: asking question again, after this fix, should i get timing check again or is it ready to go
2015-02-04 19:57 TicClick: do as you wish
2015-02-04 19:58 Ekoro: hm ok
2015-02-04 19:58 TicClick: I am sure my timing is somehow stable
2015-02-04 19:58 TicClick: but it may be flawed
2015-02-04 19:58 Ekoro: well we'll see then, i think that it's good
2015-02-04 19:58 Ekoro: i don't know if it's wrong or not but if it is, it must be like 1-2 bpm difference or something
2015-02-04 20:06 TicClick: 01:22:940 -
2015-02-04 20:06 TicClick: set its bpm to 101.5
2015-02-04 20:06 TicClick: 01:21:961 (2) - 's end should be snapped to 1/16 on new section
2015-02-04 20:07 TicClick: the workaround is ugly as fuck and probably also musically incorrect
2015-02-04 20:08 Ekoro: sounds correct as it didn't really moved
2015-02-04 20:10 TicClick: or you can try 98.3
2015-02-04 20:10 TicClick: yeah try it
2015-02-04 20:10 TicClick: snaps to 1/3
2015-02-04 20:10 Ekoro: oh
2015-02-04 20:10 Ekoro: yeah
2015-02-04 20:11 TicClick: that's all
2015-02-04 20:12 Ekoro: i think everything is solved now?
2015-02-04 20:12 TicClick: I hope
2015-02-04 20:21 Ekoro: aaaand we're done
2015-02-04 20:21 Ekoro: aimod didn't found anything about resnap and stuff
2015-02-04 20:21 Ekoro: updated
2015-02-04 20:21 TicClick: cool
Kyubey
Looks good.

  1. Use this background as it's a correct 16:9 one http://puu.sh/fvCBZ/e92264c646.jpg
Easy
Please make the spacing consistent by picking a spacing multiplier once and for all; all notes in the very beginning are spaced out differently. You tend to use 1.3x mostly, so..
  1. 00:20:939 (2) - move it up and right a bit, so that it forms a single curve with (1): http://puu.sh/fvDK5/809665e979.jpg (or you could just move the whole selection 00:11:886 (1,1,2,1) - down a bit instead)

See my remark on Easy about the same multiplier.

Support this bcz touhou and calm song.
osu need a lot more of beautiful songs instead of stupids high BPM songs, sometimes the calm and the peace make a beatmap more visible to learn the purpose of the mapping
Congratz and thanks for mapping this!

Why every timing point have unchecked "omit first bar line"? :o looks strange

Anyway congratz on rank Ekoro, nice map! o3o/

Because this is not a taiko map and mapper shouldn't care about other mods.
