  • Disable ''widescreen support'' in taiko diffs, there is no SB here Done
[Muzucore]

  • Well i'll skip this diff, you used a lot of doublets and triplets ddk/kkd and few breaks, yeah i know why you do this, but i think this can be a reason for a unrank, a good idea is renaming the Oni to Inner, the Muzukashii to Oni and make a new Muzukashii with few triplets ddd/kkk and more breaks

As i said, i know why you make hard Muzukashiis, but i'm afraid of a unrank due to this

If you decided to do this, tell me and i'll mod these other diffs in another moment, for the moment, i'll only mod the Oni
Actually, even if I dislike the diff gap, I changed my mind on Muzukashii mapping after a really long discuss with Ono, so I'll have to remap them.

  • 00:09:097 (18) - change to d? this sound is lower than 00:09:307 (19) - and sounds good imo Yup, fixed
00:15:181 (17) - maybe add a finish here? (K) the beat is high and fits good I don't really like the idea to put a big note in the middle of this pattern even if it fits the music. I prefer to make it look similar to the following patterns.
    00:44:762 (93) - change to k? i think sounds good Fixed
    02:06:265 (112,113) - control+g? (kkdddkd) sounds good imo No, that would destroy my d k d k d k d k structure follwing drums.
02:07:839 (124) - change to k? (dkdkkdk) i think sounds better I don't really agree. Also dkdkddk fits better with the following dkdkd imo.
This is all, good luck to all ^^
Thanks. o/

Note that this mod is from a mostly player perspective, Im not that good at modding yet :c

[Christmas]
00:16:650 (2) - you can move this note a little down like this: http://puu.sh/dfY5i/09ee0402af.jpg It makes an Interesting jump >.<
00:19:167 (3) - what do you think about a ctrl+g here? I think it makes it better, since that way you have a good jump in the next note
00:20:007 (5) - if you do the above you can move this note a little down, maybe x2 y264, it has better sinergy like that
00:22:734 (4) - what do you think ctrl+g this note and 00:23:153 (5) - aswell?? imo it plays better that way
00:29:028 (3) - move this note where the head of 00:28:188 (4) - is, and move 00:29:237 (4) - x192 y10 that pattern is really good to play and fills good
00:30:601 (2) - I dont really like the stack here, maybe move it a little bit down? http://puu.sh/dfYQt/ad2f692853.jpg >.<
00:46:230 (1) - perhaps a curve here? with a blanket on 00:45:811 (3) head
01:09:727 (6,1) - I was waiting this two notes stacked :C
01:11:405 (3) - I dont really like a slider here feels odd, and the song is asking for a little jump or atleast clicking something like this: http://puu.sh/dfZdl/db73cd3660.jpg
01:27:349 (1) - i think thespace between this note and the next is too short, it may confuse the player.
01:57:559 (1) - aswell

[Hardcore]
00:28:188 (4) - maybe you can ctrl+g this note, it feels better >-<
00:38:678 (7) - NC here?
01:11:405 - what do you think about moving the break here?
01:23:573 (4) - ctrl+g this slider, it will be easies to move from this slider to the next

[Mediumcore]
00:39:727 - didn't you miss a hitsound here?
01:11:405 - what do you think about moving the break here?

[softcore]
01:11:405 - yeah, the same >.<
01:45:811 - a note here? it feels a bit empty

Yeah, everything are suggestions here, you know, I'm kind bad at modding maps and this maps is already pretty good.

  • 00:35:846 (25) - move this note to 00:36:056 - ? i think sounds better
00:42:559 (53) - if you changed this ^ maybe delete this note?
00:57:139 - From here, i don't agree at all with the usage of ddk/kkd, maybe try to reduce these patterns?
01:27:979 (21) - change this note to d? (ddd) i think fits with the next pattern 01:29:447 (27,28,29) - and is less repetitive
    01:34:482 (19,20) - change these notes to k? (kkk) ^ same reason
    02:10:146 (90) - change to d for consistency with these patterns 02:07:629 (77,78,79,80,81,82,83,84,85) - ?
    02:16:860 (122) - change to d? ^ same reason

00:42:559 (53) - if you changed this ^ maybe delete this note? ^ And removed some other notes too.
00:57:139 - From here, i don't agree at all with the usage of ddk/kkd, maybe try to reduce these patterns? I'll try to keep it this way. I know there's a lot of complains about kkd on Muzu but this part has a lot of breaks and is monotonous so it should be okay. I'll change it if I get a satisfying suggestion.
01:27:979 (21) - change this note to d? (ddd) i think fits with the next pattern 01:29:447 (27,28,29) - and is less repetitive I think it's easier for the player this way (even if it's ddk) and it isn't that much repetitive anyway.
    01:34:482 (19,20) - change these notes to k? (kkk) ^ same reason ^
02:10:146 (90) - change to d for consistency with these patterns 02:07:629 (77,78,79,80,81,82,83,84,85) - ? I don't think there's a need to keep a consistency with the previous pattern because of the melody and I feel like kkk k is better, but I might be wrong or maybe both are fine, dunno, I'll probably keep it this way.
    02:16:860 (122) - change to d? ^ same reason ^

Hola!

[Christmas]

  1. 00:29:867 (4,5,6) - I think using a manual stack instead of a compressed 3-plet will look better in this case. Give it a try!
  2. 00:30:916 (x) - This pattern flow somewhat weird in my opinion. Adding a note here you will be fixing the problem.
  3. 00:51:265 (1,2) - The spacing between those are similar as some 1/4 pattern you've used in this section, it confused me quite a lot I've to say. You should increase a bit the spacing between these objects.
  4. 01:03:853 (1,2,3) - I'd use a blanket here, yeah is a bit nazi but the map will look better I guess.. Have a screenshoot and a code to show you what I've done.
    Screenshoot + Code

    177,126,63853,6,0,P|256:89|335:126,1,180,2|0,0:0|1:0,0:0:0:0:
    256,192,64482,1,0,0:0:0:0:
    335,258,64692,2,0,P|256:295|177:258,1,180,2|0,0:0|1:0,0:0:0:0:
- The structure and the rhythm is much better than the one used in Hard. Good job!

Bueno, eso seria todo. Ando vago para modear taiko todavia xD.
Espero que ayude!
Buena Suerte!!

Softcore

  1. 00:17:279 (2,3) - personally I find the flow between these notes pretty bad, since you made 2 flow into the opposite direction of the next note's placement, which is really unnatural flow, but seeing as fixing this would break your symmetry I don't think it will be accepted lol
  2. 00:33:643 (1,2) - Gero Pro at Slider art >w<
  3. 00:57:139 (1,2) - the flow between these notes pretty bad, since you made 2 flow into the opposite direction of the next note's placement, which is really unnatural flow but I found a way to fix it while making it look better :>
  4. 00:48:748 (5) - The flow is a bit awkward here since you made 5 flow away from the next note why don't you make 5 into the next note for a more clean and natural flow maybe like this?
  5. 01:37:839 (2) - Same reason as above
  6. 02:03:014 (5) - Same as above

Thanks all for easy the diff is really nice love it :D

Normal

  1. 00:27:349 (2) - why don't you make this slider curve into 3 for a more natural flow since you made 2 flow in the opposite direction of 3's placement
  2. 00:29:028 (3) - hmmmm this sounds a bit weird since at first you seem to be following the xylophone like instrument pattern so I think you should make 3 go here 00:29:237 instead so you can follow the pattern better owo
  3. 00:31:965 (3) - why don't you make this slider curve into 4 for a more natural flow since you made 3 flow in the opposite direction of 4's placement
  4. 00:42:454 (2) - Spacing got messed up
  5. 00:47:909 (3,4) - Bit Nazi but this isn't exactly symmetrical Knowing you, you probably want everything exactly symertical xD
  6. 01:31:545 (3) - why don't you make this slider curve into 4 for a more natural flow the flow between these 2 is really awkward and unnatrual since you made 3 flow in the opposite direction of 4's placement try this maybe not as pretty as yours but it has a better flow >.<
  7. 01:34:063 (1) - the flow between 1 and 2 is also a bit odd since you made 1 flow a bit away from 2
  8. 01:37:000 (4) - That's is pretty awkward to hit since it flows downward but you made the next go abruptly upwards making the flow awkward maybe try this owo
  9. 02:17:279 (5) - How about instead of placing this upwards how about you place this downwards so that it goes with the flow of the previous slider like this owo

Done with normal pretty nice diff gero-kun :>

Hard

  1. 00:37:734 (3) - The rhythm here is a bit odd since if you go into 25% playback you will notice that at 00:37:629 there is a bit more prominent sound in the bgm here an I think sounds better to map at it owo
  2. 00:38:678 (1,2) - I think the flow between these notes could use a bit more work since it quite unnatural plus I think the slider shape isn't as pretty as it could be. I suggest you make 1's body flow into the next note for more natural gameplay like so owo
  3. 00:45:391 (1) - The flow at the end of the slider is pretty hard to follow in a hard diff since you make a quick turn at the end its kinda hard to hit a note in the opposite flow that is 1/4 so I suggest you make like this so you flow into the next note easier :>
  4. 01:30:706 (1) - I think making the curve flow towards 2 is better cause it more natural to go into and I think it looks better curved towards it owo

That's all for the hard I think its okay not my favorite hard diff by you but I think its okay :3

Insane

  1. 01:03:853 (1,2,3) - I agree with mancuso about this it would look better with that blanket owo
  2. 01:44:447 (3) - these hitsounds on the blue ticks just sound mistimed it sounds really odd to me >.<
  3. 02:16:440 (2) - Slider end is not snapped
  4. 02:16:650 (3) - Slider end is not snapped

That's this is amazing it played great and I had fun owo

That's all good luck on ranking and hopefully this mod helped :3

[General]

[Hardcore]

  1. 00:14:552 (2) - Whistle?
  2. 00:19:167 (3) - Same suggestion as the previous diff- Oh well it's my part :D Whatever, I mention it for all cases.
  3. 00:31:965 (5,1) - Swap NC.
  4. 00:38:678 (1) - Maybe adding Ctrl+H for a better flow and making pattern look better?
  5. 00:57:559 (2) - No hitsounds since here?
[Christmas]

  1. If you add AR:9 then I'd change OD to 8, fits better since 7 it's a bit low imo.
  2. 00:35:111 (3) - Well... I don't think this slider fits here, stanza should be clicked here u.u Try something different, and add NC (in stanza) if you consider this.
  3. 00:50:426 (1,2) - I think this spacing will be really confusing due the rhythm, although you were trying a blanket D: I'd fix it.
Just pointed out very minor stuff, mapset looks really nice o:

Good luck~

Hey Gero random mod from christmas queue =w=/

Softcore:
  1. 00:18:538 (3) - how about adding a whistle on slider's repeat sounds kinda fit with the music o.o
  2. 00:25:251 (3) - ^
  3. 00:57:139 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - what are you following with those normal sampleset? i honestly don't hear anything in music that follows it. How about replacing them with a soft whistle instead
  4. 01:32:384 (4,5) - I honestly don't think the repeat follows anything in the music, i tried hearing on 20% still it didn't hit anything in the music. How about 2 1/1 sliders those kinda fits better then those =3=/
  5. 01:54:202 (1,2) - ^
  6. 02:05:951 (3,4) - ^

Mediumcore:
  1. 00:19:168 (2) - add a whistle on slider's repeat, i honestly think it fits perfectly with the music o.o
  2. 00:39:307 (5) - ^
  3. 01:07:209 (1) - stick this probably under 01:05:531 (3) - slider's end
  4. 01:30:496 (5) - delete the clap, i don't think it fit with music imo

Hardcore:
  1. 00:16:440 (4) - how about ctrl+g it'll play much better imo
  2. 00:25:881 (2) - move this one grid down to line up with 00:25:251 (1) -
  3. 00:28:188 (4) - like i said here 00:16:440 (4) -
  4. 00:53:363 (3) - stick this perfectly under 00:52:104 (1) - slider's tail
  5. 00:57:559 (2) - ctrl+g will play much better here
  6. 02:07:209 (6) - ^

Christmas:
  1. 01:58:818 (6) - how about ctrl+g here it'll fit with style on the whole map o.o

That's all i can find ></ this map seems to be ready to go already, good luck Gero :3

[General]
I'm seeing some bare little girl ass on my screen, maybe thats a bit too risque for a child's eyes. Change it to be safe
The storyboard goes beyond 6.00x sb load for me around 00:57:139 (1) - around here well into the faded section, might want to check all that out to be sure
normal-slidertick.wav and normal-sliderslide.wav are unusued
I don't really get these diff names, easy normal hard is more than sufficient

[Christmas]
  1. 00:56:300 (5,1,2) - Because of 5's hitburst and the bright storyboard, 00:57:139 (1,2) - are pretty hard to see with the gray combo color. I suggest you move this elsewhere
  2. 02:16:860 (4) - Add and NC here to be consistent with the other diffs maybe
[Hardcore]
Some of the issues I mentioned are repeated throughout the map, be sure to recheck everything to make sure it is satisfactory
  1. 00:47:070 (1,2) - A rhythm like you had 00:48:748 (1,2,3) - here would suit this part better. You can hear a loud sound half way through the slider and the slidertick doesn't cover it well enough imo
  2. 00:53:783 (1,2,1,2) - ^
  3. 01:22:315 (1,1,2) - Irre I know how you like to work your NC's but these aren't really understandable. I'd say just remove the NC on 01:22:524 (1) - and you should be good to go
  4. 01:57:139 (4,1) - 4's direction change seems a bit too harsh for it to flow nicely, maybe have a little more smoother slider curve inverted to how it is now. Should free it up for some movement and provide a nice transition into the next section
  5. 02:02:594 (1) - The sound on the red tick should probably be addressed, maybe turn this into a 1/2 slider and have a circle where the slider end used to be
[Mediumcore]
  1. 00:28:608 (1,2,3) - I think 3 1/2 stacks is a bit too much for a normal diff, it's kinda hard to read and with the storyboard players could become confused
  2. 01:37:000 (4,1) - The direction change here is a bit too harsh, I suggest relocating 1 to where 4's slider end flows more easily into it
  3. 01:57:979 (2,3,4) - Same stack dealio
  4. 02:13:503 (4,5,6) - ^
  5. 02:17:279 (5) - 02:16:021 (4) - 's flow is going a bit downwards, so maybe relocate this to 218:366 for a neater looking pattern and nicer flow
[Softcore]
  1. 00:50:426 (1) - I suggest you move this down a bit since it is touching the hp bar slightly, newer players can find this as a bit of a distraction

Great taiko diffs again buddy, you always please
  1. 00:22:524 (51,52,53) - I found this to be a bit choppy coming off of the ddk patterns, maybe try kkd here instead
  2. 00:33:014 (19,20,21) - This seemed to flow not as nicely as well, I found a ddk pattern to work fantastic. It also fits well with the music. You can apply this to other patterns as you please and keep some of those kdks if you'd like
[Muzucore]
  1. 00:42:874 (52) - Maybe it would be best to map this out instead, its not too long and you didn't have this in the Oni. A k ddk would be nice and would have a nice transition effect into the next part

I've fixed everything of them, it was so helpful, except about custom names, I really wanna keep them as is.

Wait, wait, wait.
[Christmas]
01:52:524 (1,2) - This is WAY too close to each other. I was definitely sure this is placed 1/4 later rather than 1/2. This is easily seen when you compare that with your streams. I strongly suggest you to increase the distance snap between these objects to 1.6x, just like the rest of your jumpy patterns have.

I'm currently fully mod this, in case that are other things like the one above. Please wait for me.
@edit: Here it is.

Half of the map has Kiai... I know there is an epilepsy warning, but consider starting it at 01:50:846, as this is the part where the song gets intense.
[Softcore]
Since this mapset (excluding the taiko difficulties and this single difficulty) is a collaborative set, and there's no clear information who made this difficulty, I would suggest to storyboard your name all over the map for consistency.

01:39:097 (1,2) - Swap new combos.
02:00:916 (3) - New combo here.
02:07:629 (4) - And new combo here.
[Mediumcore]
00:21:056 (3,4,5,1) - Consider doing this: remove the reverse from (4), move (5) earlier by 1/2 and add an extra note on top of 5.
[Hardcore]
00:32:174 (2) - Would you mind to explain why this is a 3/4 slider? I could be missing something here, but I think a simple 1/2 would work just fine.
00:47:384 (2,3) - Ain't stacked properly.
01:21:475 (3) - New combo here?
02:10:776 (6) - Consider turning off the grid snap and moving that note to x:174 y:24 so there's the same distance between (5,6) and (6,1).
[Christmas]
01:18:958 (1) - In my opinions these claps are suppressing the mild sound of finishes. Consider deleting them, just like you have it at 01:17:279 (1).
01:24:622 (3) - Unnecessary clap at its end.
01:52:524 (1,2) - Pretty much what I stated above. The transition (6) to (1) might make people think that there is a jump between (1) and (2) as well, considering the little distance between these notes.

Good luck! Andrea is a ( ͡º ͜ʖ ͡º).

I made this one, I find it quite unnecessary to put my name on the whole difficulty.

Looking at the map 0.0

Requested by Gero previously but I saw someone's up to this

Legend
Default = Normal mods
Blue = Strongly recommended
Red = Unrankable issue
Pink = Will be discussed if not changed

Volume

  • Volume around 00:30:286 - to 00:40:356 - sounds a bit low, and keep changing like I can hear it rise up and down

Double check here and see if you need any changes

Easy

  1. 00:33:223 - 50% vol here same with 00:31:125 -

Normal

  1. 00:33:223 - Like Easy, 50% too?

Hard

  1. 00:32:489 - Lower volume here (seems there's a timing point)
  2. 00:37:209 - Whistle here would sound nicer, like 00:37:734 (3,4) -
  3. 01:29:447 - Whistle

Christmas

  1. 00:31:125 - Whistle
  2. 01:05:531 (5) - NC (constant 1 beat)
  3. 01:08:888 (4) - ^

Volume

  • Volume around 00:30:286 - to 00:40:356 - sounds a bit low, and keep changing like I can hear it rise up and down Those are intentional because here has some claps at red ticks that's why I've down the volume at this part on every difficulty as you can see

Actually, didn't the snap detection change since Christmas update?
That's most likely why.
