Should have a promotion system where you can be promoted to the next league if you're top 3 in your league. Also demoting the bottom 3 players in their league to the league below them. This would be a good idea since people's ranks don't always tell the truth.

Wow there are now a lot of players registered. I'll start looking at staffing as we're almost at enough players in gold and GM leagues to run our season 1 tourney
I think I´ m able to help too if needed 
Would be good idea that you define some of the possible songs in the differents difficulties

this is a very good idea, and i've thought about how it would be fun to have in osu! aswell, but i just dont see it working as a player-run project.

OK there are now enough players to run a Gold league tourney and we're close to running a silver master and GM league. I will be PM'ing those who will participate in the Gold League and map pools will be distributed to players. the same map pool will be used in every match and it will be single elimination format and will be live streamed on a TBD Chanel @twitch.tv. I'm looking forwards to it. Also every participant will be given 5-7 days after map pool release to practice.
Well I know I'm screwed with Hard Rock and Double Time maps.
Crap is it to late to sign up for gold league? Rank 20k currently.
