it's just CTB you use all your senses of perception to the maximum, like sound memorization/visualization memorization and even reflex, theres also pattern following such as spinning.
I just feel as if CTB is harder because of how many things you need to learn and adapt and get better at, and the reflex ctb players have is insane. like when I look at DT plays on standard i just shrug but when I see exgon's neu SS, I just think to my self, how can someone stream perfect BPM with around 3-5 MS of room to work around while jumping and also doing it sideways.
So the moral of the story is.. beginner CTB looks really noobish and easy but high teir CTB just raises the roof to the moon.

every other mode allows you to fall back on rhythm. ctb rhythms are offset by needing to be in the correct place at said time (and acting beforehand), rather than hitting a key at the correct time.
