Wow! Thin lines do the trick! I finally managed to make a not-so cartoonish art. That might change when I color the whole thing though (fingers crossed, I hope it does not).
Something's off about this one. I can't quite put my finger on it.
Best drawing so far
Oh! Two drawings in a day. A miracle for me!
Thin line is a good move, though proportions on the face are off.
The root of the ear lines up (vertically) with the lower jaw; push the ear further to the back of the head. The nostrils should line up horizontally with the bottom lobe of the ear; bring the eyes and nose down lower and the ear a bit higher. Alternatively, just bring his lower jaw up and adjust facial features accordingly.
Thank you very much! I've modified the sketch and it looks quite better now.
I've also managed to make the lineart of it.
During the linearting, I've also modified some things. Despite all of these changes, I think I'll study it a bit and modify it some more.

Oh my goodness! Those are... really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really good!
EDIT:
I feels like I'm writing on an art diary now. Well, just wanted to post this and would like to ask for criticism.
It seems that my coloring style is the one making my drawings cartoonish. I was trying to make it look a bit like it came from an anime using cell shading. I failed though. Still cartoonish D:.
