hi meetmeetdee! looks like i'm first~
Red: Unrankable
Blue: Highly recommended/very questionable
Black: Suggestion
[General][Easy]
- Widescreen Support is unchecked only for Insane. Make sure it's checked or unchecked consistently for each difficulty as you intend. Fix
[Normal]
- 00:02:274 - Unsnapped and unnecessary green line since the SV isn't changing. Delete the green line here and put 50% on the red line. OK
- 00:10:342 (1) - The placement here gets kind of messy. Try and make a triangle formation with 00:08:687 (3,4,1) would look neat. OK
- 00:13:653 (4) - NC here to fit the strong downbeat and pattern change. OK
- 00:17:067 - The green line here isn't necessary, I would delete it. OK
- 00:20:273 (4) - The slider seems to be structured on the old algorithm. I would remake it to get a nicer blanket. Also use a NC here to indicate that you've switched to following the vocal for this part: OK
- 00:26:480 (4) - Spacing inconsistency here, make sure to correct it to a 1.0x interval. Fix
- 00:51:722 (5) - I would NC here to break up this combo, it feels rather long for an Easy. Also try a whistle on the tail for the high sound. OK
- 01:05:584 (4) - NC to indicate you've switched to follow the vocal here. OK
- 01:06:618 (6) - Shortening this slider to reverse on the blue tick would follow the music more accurately. OK
- 01:14:894 (1) - Definitely could use a whistle on the head to catch the high sound. You can also use one on the tail if you would like. add in head
- 01:18:204 (6) - NC here to break up the combo, it's also rather long. OK
Well I'm not too keen on using slider shapes like 00:26:894 (1) and 00:41:791 (3) for an Easy but we'll see what other modders think.[Hard]
- 00:06:204 (4) - Since the previous slider ends on a vocal, it feels more intuitive to have this circle on 00:06:411. use slider instead
- 00:31:860 - Unneeded green line. Either delete or make use of it. Fix
- 00:55:860 (2) - Spacing inconsistency, make sure to correct it to a 1.4x interval.
- 01:05:791 (3,4,1,2,3) - The rhythm here is a bit ambiguous because it's not quite clear what you're following. Try a rhythm like this to more carefully follow the sounds in the background music: OK
- 01:23:584 (1) - This note appears rather soon after a spinner and may feel comfortable for beginners/amateurs. I would delete it. OK
You may need to use Tick Rate 2 for this to make the large slider velocity increases discernible. OK[Insane]
- 00:12:825 (1) - Remove NC, I don't see any reason to have this note as it's own combo. I prefer keep this for the combo consistency at that part, may consider change it if others point out this again
- 00:36:825 (2,3) - Swap these two on the timeline to fit the music better. You should be able to click something on 00:37:032. OK
- 01:06:825 (1,2,3) - Similar suggestion as Normal, you should follow the significant background sounds here. Try something like this: OK
- 01:15:101 (1) - The jump here is way too big and doesn't feel good to play. I would reduce the spacing. Fix
- 01:20:273 (2) - Should have a NC here to indicate the large SV increase. OK
Same as mentioned for Hard with the tick rate. OKNice song!
- 00:06:618 (3) - Needs a NC for the large SV increase. OK
- 00:20:273 (3,4) - This would look a lot nicer if you stacked the tails perfectly and/or used the same curve for both of them. Fix the stack, but the different in curve is made intentionally
- 00:36:825 (2,3) - Same as Hard, swap these two on the timeline so you can catch the sound on 00:37:032 to fit the music. OK
- 00:48:411 (1,2,3,4) - I don't agree with using a stream here with nothing in the music to warrant it. A 3/4 slider would make more sense. OK
- 00:51:101 (5,6,7) - Are the small spacing increases intentional? It looks kinda strange and spacing this triplet normally would play better. Fix
- 00:53:377 (4,5,6,7,8) - Looks like you're making a pentagon shape with this placement but it doesn't look very clean given the spacing changes. I provided an example of a clean pentagon pattern, try it out:
ExampleThanks, it looks cleaner320,60,53377,1,2,0:0:0:0:
143,99,53584,1,0,0:0:0:0:
127,278,53791,1,2,0:0:0:0:
293,349,53998,1,2,0:0:0:0:
411,213,54204,1,2,0:0:0:0:- 00:56:480 (4) - The jump here is excessive considering you didn't use a jump this big for 00:55:653 (2) which is a similar sounding part. Move this note to x:206 y:217 to keep the distance consistent. Fix
- 00:56:687 (5,7) - Try to avoid making overlaps like these, they don't look very nice. Fix
Good luck with this~
