Hello!
finally a good jp song

General
  1. SB -
  2. I don't think the grey combo colour actually fits anything. How about something like violet? http://puu.sh/90eqd.png
  3. Use AudioLeadIn 1500? Should be enough for startbreak.
  4. Some hitsounds are quite inaudible, probably because low volume setting on audio file (not in-game) Maybe manually check each hitsound file and amplify if volume too low?
Fycho
  1. 00:46:028 (1) - Curve maybe? You know, alternation in slider flow and design (-:
  2. 01:54:695 (3) - Clap instead of kick on sliderhead?
  3. 02:31:361 (3,4) - Blanket maybe?
  4. 02:39:695 (2) - I think sliderhead should use kick sound instead of clap.
  5. 03:26:028 (1) - Finish sound is kinda too loud, try using softwhistle instead?
  6. 04:08:028 (3) - Blanket maybe? :3
  7. 04:22:028 (1) - Also use kick sound in sliderhead?
  8. 04:21:695 (4,2) - Stack?
  9. 04:24:695 (1) - Add kicksound in sliderhead?
Nice.

Laurier
  1. 01:01:361 (5) - Clap?
  2. 01:12:028 (5) - Clap here too?
  3. 02:16:028 (6) - Clap instead of kick sound?
  4. 02:18:695 (6) - Missed a clap in sliderhead.
  5. 02:50:028 (4,5,6,7) - These are weird. Try http://puu.sh/90fck.jpg also notice that next slider had to be ctrl+g'd
  6. 03:52:028 (4) - Nope. Atleast use 1/1 slider instead (no repeats)
  7. 04:31:695 (5) - Missed a kick sound
Insane
  1. I don't think the name "Insane" actually fits with anything ._.
  2. 00:25:861 (5) - Kinda assymetryic, the right side seems placed a bit too bottom
  3. 00:46:028 (1) - What is this shape '__'
  4. 00:46:861 (4,5) - I think it would flow better if you Ctrl+G this, and of course before you readjust the next patterns
  5. 00:51:361 (1) - Ctrl+G? Try it.
  6. 00:53:861 (3) - This broke flow as it's kinda out of place. Try stacking it with 00:53:195 (7) - 's sliderhead. Remember that this might not work with next patterns so readjust them (-:
  7. 01:02:028 (1) - Bad. This method works better http://puu.sh/90gGd.jpg
  8. 01:09:028 (1) - Better flow could be achieved by Ctrl+G here. Thus you would have to do the same to next patterns, maybe.
  9. 01:14:195 (6,7) - Swap place?
  10. 01:17:361 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Bad shape. To create good stream shape try the Convert slider to stream option in Compose menu.
  11. 01:37:028 (1,2,3) - Bad shape. Try the method I showed you earlier
  12. Seems like other sliderwaves are messed up as well. Fix them too then.
  13. 02:29:695 (3,1) - Try to blanket the sliderbody instead of the sliderhead, like http://puu.sh/90gTY.jpg
  14. 02:38:695 (5) - Wrongly placed, try http://puu.sh/90gXm.jpg
  15. 03:09:361 (6) - Clap?
  16. 04:01:361 (4,5) - Try http://puu.sh/90h2y.jpg
  17. 04:03:361 (1,2) - Blanket maybe?
  18. 04:04:528 (5) - Ctrl+G?
  19. 04:22:695 (3) - Ctrl+G would work perfect. Also try to blanket sliderbody
  20. 04:36:528 (4) - Nah, maybe what you mean is http://puu.sh/90haL.jpg
Some tip for Insane diff: Flow is already good and jumps are well made, but despite the song is way too calm and too slow some parts had a pretty wide gap of emptiness that can't be easily mapped, leading you to leave out some place empty (unmapped, as there are nothing much to map on it) Whenever you encounter this, it is best to stack patterns to indicate the empty gap (don't space them, as you used a lot of jumps and this might be confusing with the normal spaces) as stack also indicates that the flow is "paused" due to the empty part of the song. Maybe you would want to take this into consideration the next time you map.

Good luck, I like the song and the map!

Starred. Good luck.

Hello! Hi o/
finally a good jp song Yeah fhana!

General
  1. SB -
  2. I don't think the grey combo colour actually fits anything. How about something like violet? http://puu.sh/90eqd.png The grey suits the sombre mood and the navy blue! I'll probably end up changing the bg anyway, so the colours are subject to change also
  3. Use AudioLeadIn 1500? Should be enough for startbreak. Ok~
  4. Some hitsounds are quite inaudible, probably because low volume setting on audio file (not in-game) Maybe manually check each hitsound file and amplify if volume too low? They're audible for me :o Some of them are intentionally subtle
Insane
  1. I don't think the name "Insane" actually fits with anything ._. It's just a name after all...
  2. 00:25:861 (5) - Kinda assymetryic, the right side seems placed a bit too bottom If I said this was intentional would you believe me? haha
  3. 00:46:028 (1) - What is this shape '__' It looks good if you don't hover over it! >~<
  4. 00:46:861 (4,5) - I think it would flow better if you Ctrl+G this, and of course before you readjust the next patterns I will consider this, but I intended to break out of circular flow here.
  5. 00:51:361 (1) - Ctrl+G? Try it. Both work pretty well, but I prefer mine atm.
  6. 00:53:861 (3) - This broke flow as it's kinda out of place. Try stacking it with 00:53:195 (7) - 's sliderhead. Remember that this might not work with next patterns so readjust them (-: Ah, I see what you're saying but where I have it currently works better for me. The reason is because of the drop down into the next slider with larger spacing. Stacking it on 00:53:195 (7) won't have the same effect in my opinion.
  7. 01:02:028 (1) - Bad. This method works better http://puu.sh/90gGd.jpg
  8. 01:09:028 (1) - Better flow could be achieved by Ctrl+G here. Thus you would have to do the same to next patterns, maybe. Breaking out of circular flow here seems more appropriate; as to isolate the next sequence of sliders :>
  9. 01:14:195 (6,7) - Swap place? It feels more comfortable for me to play in this order. Trust me, I have tried a lot of alternatives! :D
  10. 01:17:361 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Bad shape. To create good stream shape try the Convert slider to stream option in Compose menu. What's wrong with doing it manually? lol. I utilised a sort of circular flow here coming off from 01:17:028 (3) , and how it bends in the second half of the stream flows really nicely into the following section. There is a method to my madness!
  11. 01:37:028 (1,2,3) - Bad shape. Try the method I showed you earlier haha maybe, but it does its job!
  12. Seems like other sliderwaves are messed up as well. Fix them too then. I will try to work harder on this, especially if other people point them out, but these are just aesthetic aspects and can be fixed fairly easily. Thanks for pointing them out :)
  13. 02:29:695 (3,1) - Try to blanket the sliderbody instead of the sliderhead, like http://puu.sh/90gTY.jpg Looks a bit strange :o
  14. 02:38:695 (5) - Wrongly placed, try http://puu.sh/90gXm.jpg err have you played it? It plays fine for me and where you suggested I place it doesn't flow into the next sequence xD Well, for me anyway
  15. 03:09:361 (6) - Clap? Ahh yes, missed this one. Fixed
  16. 04:01:361 (4,5) - Try http://puu.sh/90h2y.jpg Sure
  17. 04:03:361 (1,2) - Blanket maybe? Strangely, where I have it now works better than if I blanket it :/ I can fix this easily later though if I need to
  18. 04:04:528 (5) - Ctrl+G? ehh? Flow would be strange if I ctrl+g this. I think it works fine here and really accentuates the 1/1 gap
  19. 04:22:695 (3) - Ctrl+G would work perfect. Also try to blanket sliderbody Prefer how it flows currently
  20. 04:36:528 (4) - Nah, maybe what you mean is http://puu.sh/90haL.jpg Actually, I think the wiggle should be near the slider start to convey the guitar bend I'm trying to follow

I tried to have a variety of patterns etc while preserving the rhythm, so I tried not to have all 1/1 stacks to represent emptiness. Most of the 1/1 gaps in the timeline are readable and don't interfere with the flow (imo); as I don't map for difficulty, this should be the case :3

Good luck, I like the song and the map! Thanks very much for taking a look inverness! Greatly appreciate it :D

Starred. Good luck.

[General]
  1. total file size is over 10MB!
[Insane]
  1. 00:01:861 (4) - I prefer 1/4 slider
  2. 00:23:028 (4) - normal curved slider is better
  3. 00:28:861 (2,5) - avoiding stack is on purpose?
  4. 00:42:361 (6,1) - a little difficult to find circle. how about avoiding stack correctly
  5. 02:27:695 (2) - x:310 y:149 (blanket correctly)
  6. 02:31:695 (1,2) - I prefer symmetric curved sliders
  7. 02:33:695 (4) - curved slider si better, imo
  8. 02:38:195 (2,4) - hard to find 4. I suggest not to stack
  9. 02:52:361 (3,4,5) - conform DS
  10. 02:56:195 (7) - delete?
  11. 03:52:028 (1) - <3
[Fycho's Normal]
  1. 01:00:695 (3) - leftward slider is better
  2. 01:49:361 (3) - end at 01:49:695 and add drum-finish
  3. 01:52:028 (4) - end at 01:52:361
  4. 02:12:695 (3) - how about downward curved slider?
  5. 03:28:695~03:49:528- it is better to conform DS to 1.2x
  6. 04:21:695 (4,2) - stack correctly
[Laurier's Hard]
  1. 00:47:361 (3,4,5) - もう少しspacingを広めにした方が良いと思います
  2. 01:17:361 (5,6) - こっちの方が好みです
  3. 01:23:861 (2,3) - 完全にstackしても問題ないような気がします。
  4. 02:11:195- add a note?

  1. total file size is over 10MB! Yeah... b-but the mp3 is like 6.7 mb!
[Insane]
  1. 00:01:861 (4) - I prefer 1/4 slider If you listen really (really, really) carefully, you can hear a note on this beat! Not just that, but if I remove the reverse on the slider it won't have the same effect into the anti-jump afterwards.
  2. 00:23:028 (4) - normal curved slider is better For some strange reason I feel my current shape to be better. Though a curved slider would also work, it would play essentially the same. The subtle anchor here is totally random and I like it! :P
  3. 00:28:861 (2,5) - avoiding stack is on purpose? Yep, manual stack :3
  4. 00:42:361 (6,1) - a little difficult to find circle. how about avoiding stack correctly I actually like this 1/1 stack on the slider end >~< It conveys motionless in the song and is readable in my opinion
  5. 02:27:695 (2) - x:310 y:149 (blanket correctly) Fixed~
  6. 02:31:695 (1,2) - I prefer symmetric curved sliders Haha, that's exactly what I was avoiding :P
  7. 02:33:695 (4) - curved slider si better, imo I will consider this, but I feel a curve won't work as well for the following jump sequence. Well let's see what others think :)
  8. 02:38:195 (2,4) - hard to find 4. I suggest not to stack I can read this owo I will wait and see
  9. 02:52:361 (3,4,5) - conform DS The distance snapped I used was 1.2 and 1.5 respectively. The reason that the slider is further is because I'm trying to emphasise the vocal and the reverse gives it a nice swing. Well it just plays well for me!
  10. 02:56:195 (7) - delete? ehh? There is an important bass note here ;w;
  11. 03:52:028 (1) - <3 <3

Hi there, coming from your request in my Modding Q

  1. God damn thats a long but calming song o:
  2. Gonna be honest, the Insane has a huge gap with the Hard and I think it's kinda overmapped since it's a low bpm/calming song, but I'll take that as your mapping style

  5. 00:32:028 (4) - curve this one upwards?
  6. 00:34:361 (2) - ^ downwards?
  7. 00:48:695 (1) - curve this one a tiny bit more to look like 00:50:028 (3) - (they look off to me)
  8. 01:06:695 (3) - curve downward?
  9. 01:14:695 (3) - curve upward?
  10. 01:48:695 (2) - like this?
    a
    http://puu.sh/9anTn/60dfcbc59a.jpg
  11. 02:16:695 (1) - move up by a little bit so that 02:16:028 (3) - flows into it
  12. 02:18:361 (2) - curve to the left?
  13. 02:32:361 (4) - 389/207 for better flow?
  14. 02:37:361 (3) - curve right?
  15. 02:48:695 (1) - curve upward?
  16. 02:54:028 (1) - overlap with 02:51:361 (1) - 's tail?
  17. 03:02:028 (1) - 112/169 flows better imo
  18. 03:38:028 (2) - move the last tick so that it actually flows into 03:39:361 (1) -
    b
    http://puu.sh/9aoaL/c29f54e61f.jpg
  19. 03:44:695 (1) - having this curved would be better imo
  20. 04:02:028 (3) - is very close to 04:01:695 (2) - - move it a little bit and maybe curve it towards 4
  21. 04:04:695 (3) - ^ and curve the other way so that it blankets 4 just a little bit
  22. 04:06:028 (1,2) - either curve 1 less or change the position of 2 for a better flow-in
  23. 04:10:361 (2) - overlap with 04:08:028 (3) - 's tail? (298/54)
  24. 04:16:361 (3) - add circle?
  25. 04:24:028 (3) - have this one in the middle of 04:24:695 (1) - 's trail

[Laurier's Hard]
  1. 00:11:695 (1) - 1/4 repeat?
  2. 00:17:695 (2) - off by 1 on each coord
  3. 00:25:695 (3) - let this one be a copy of 00:25:195 (2) - 's angle
  4. 00:28:695 (3) - blanket 00:29:528 (4) -
  5. 01:06:028 (4) - wrong overlap, x by 1
  6. 01:04:695 (1,2,3,4) - I think 1 and 2 should look the same as 3 and 4. 1 and 2 flow directly into each other while 3 and 4 have an offset. It's up to you which one you change, but I guess 1 and 2 would be the better call here
  7. 01:09:028 (4) - overlap wrong, y off by 1
  8. 01:14:695 (4) - overlap wrong, both coords off by 1
  9. 01:23:861 (2,3) - every double before that is stacked, this one should be as well
  10. 02:37:361 (6,7) - ^
  11. 01:38:695 (5) - I'd say that this fits better

  14. 01:47:361 (1,2) - ends dont match. fix this with help of ctrl+g.
  15. 01:50:028 (1) - overlap off by 1
  16. 01:54:361 (3) - add circle here? there's a loud beat
  17. 02:05:361 (5) - blanket 02:04:695 (4) - ?
  18. 02:19:361 (1) - overlap wrong, off by 1x
  19. 02:22:028 (1) - overlap with 02:18:695 (6,1) - 's ends?
  20. 02:35:195 (5,1) - x 336
  21. 02:38:028 (1,2,3) - this spacing is extremely confusing as no one would expect a 1/4 there as opposed to the 1/2 which appear through the diff. fix this one
  22. 03:16:695 (4) - overlap wrong, off by 1y
  23. 03:40:528 (2) - ^
  24. 03:44:361 (4,1) - this one is difficult to read at first, move 4 somewhere like this and fix the overlap

  25. 03:47:028 (5,1) - ^
  26. 03:45:195 (2) - adjust this one as well, I didnt expect a 1/4 here as well while playing (5.7 DS D:)
  27. 03:47:861 (2) - ^
  28. 03:49:583 (2,3) - spread these a little bit more. they looked like streams first (due to low bpm, 1/3 and AR) It should be clear that those are 1/3s

  5. 00:42:861 (1) - ^
  6. 00:47:195 (6) - spread this one from 00:46:861 (4) - a bit more

  9. 01:23:361 (1) - fix that overlap
  10. 01:30:695 (5) - make it overlap 01:29:195 (2) -
  11. 02:10:528 (6) - i feel like there should be a cirlce here since there's also one here 02:13:361 (7) - (its a slider though)
  12. 02:16:528 (8) - fix the position between 5 and 6
  13. 02:24:361 (4) - blanket 02:24:195 (3) - ?
  14. 02:49:195 (2) - tail off by 1y. if you fix this, dont forget to change 02:49:695 (1) - as well
  15. 02:52:695 (5) - fix spacing to match 02:52:361 (3,4) -

sorry late.. It's ok!

  1. 00:29:695 (6,7) - 1/3 Rhythm? I can hear some 1/3 here, but I decided not to map it :3
  2. 00:55:028 (3,4) - I like Ctrl+G flowing Wow, so do I! It's just that I tried not to repeat the same circular flow too much, so I'll keep it for now.
Good luck ;) ありがとう!

Hi there, coming from your request in my Modding Q
(I didnt go over the previous mods and I didnt see any updatepost, so ignore overlaps with the other mods)
(Also, for some reason my (img) command wont work, so I'll just post the normal links

[General]
  1. God damn thats a long but calming song o: <3
  2. Gonna be honest, the Insane has a huge gap with the Hard and I think it's kinda overmapped since it's a low bpm/calming song, but I'll take that as your mapping style

Well I sort of agree with you here, but I personally think it's fine. I don't believe those numbers are truly indicative of the difficulty of the map, especially since I focused on playability and flow in my diff. It's not that it's low bpm; I mapped it like it was 180 and each note is justified by a sound in the song. Also note that my difficulty has pretty much a 1:1 slider to circle ratio!

[Insane]
  1. 00:23:695 (6,8) - make them less touchy :> They aren't touching..
  2. 00:28:861 (2,5) - let them overlap Manual stack here
  3. 00:30:695 (3) - tail overlap wrong by 1y [
  4. 00:32:361 (6) - ^
  5. 00:42:861 (1) - ^ Fixed them :)
  6. 00:47:195 (6) - spread this one from 00:46:861 (4) - a bit more It's fine
  7. 00:47:695 (1) - overlap off by 1x color=#0080FF]Ok[/color]
  8. 00:50:528 (6) - ^
  9. 01:23:361 (1) - fix that overlap Manual
  10. 01:30:695 (5) - make it overlap 01:29:195 (2) - Noooo ;w; For what reason? That previous note can only been seen in editor. A nice tip is to play the map, look in editor for potential issues, and test them to make sure.
  11. 02:10:528 (6) - i feel like there should be a cirlce here since there's also one here 02:13:361 (7) - (its a slider though) You just contradicted yourself orz I think the rhythm here is perfectly fine!
  12. 02:16:528 (8) - fix the position between 5 and 6 I do not see the issue here... :/
  13. 02:24:361 (4) - blanket 02:24:195 (3) - ? Intentionally not a blanket. Works better for me, for some strange reason :P
  14. 02:49:195 (2) - tail off by 1y. if you fix this, dont forget to change 02:49:695 (1) - as well ...
  15. 02:52:695 (5) - fix spacing to match 02:52:361 (3,4) - I cannot see the problem here. I thought the increased spacing would emphasise the vocal and it plays much smoother for me
  16. 03:06:695 (7,8,9) - ^ ^ In my opinion, I don't think that strict distance snapping and uniformity would work any better here

Gl with your mapset! :3 Thanks for checking :)

Hey guys ;_;

These are all suggestions, feel free to ignore

Insane

  • [list:1337]00:10:361 (4) - could add 2 notes before this for a triple?
    00:15:695 (6) - ^
00:14:028 (4) - could end this on the blue tick to play along to the lyrics? then add a note on the white tick
00:17:695 (3,4) - same goes with this (only if you're following the vocals QAQ
00:47:695 (1) - potential blanket if you dont mind changing the flow
    00:58:028 (5) - ctrl+g for smoother flow?
    02:05:695 (8) - ^
02:26:695 (6) - i get the feeling this she be curved downwards, dunno why
02:47:528 (5,6) - feels like these she be spread further apart since the voice increases (seems u like make the first 2 single tap notes close then the subsequent ones further apart =O)
03:14:695 (7) - could make two circle objects instead so it follows the guitar better?
    03:25:653 (2) - BRING OUT THE 1/16 (OR IS IT 1/12) NOTES \O/!!!!!!!!!!!!! jk
    03:54:695 (6) - personally i'd ctrl+g this :( (something like 04:05:028 (6,7) - )
    04:03:361 (1,2) - blanket pleasee
seriously though, I can't find anything bad about this at all
love yo flow XD

Laurier's Hard

  • 01:29:695 (5) - this sounds strange, consider changing it up?
01:54:361 (3) - add a note to follow the bass?
    03:24:028 (2,3) - is it a good idea to stack these since u had a 1/1 stack and now a 1/2?
    03:29:861 (2) - curving this feels better ;3 like > http://puu.sh/9hkyi/692edc22c1.jpg
    03:44:361 (4,1) - seems a little hard to read ;O
    03:44:361 (4,1) - could flip these around like > http://puu.sh/9hkCG/6315fd9751.jpg so it's more similar to 03:47:028 (5,1) - and i reckon it flows better
03:49:361 (1,2,3) - use slider repeat instead since it's 1/3? and should use a hitsound to make it more epic :)
    04:09:195 (2,3) - fix the blanket ;DDDDDDD
Aside from that, it's honestly hard to find anything wrong with this at all, very good hard diff ;_;

Fycho's Normal

  • 01:56:695 (3,4) - blanket better?
    02:12:695 (3) - could curve it upwards?
    02:37:361 (3) - curve it slightly to the left<<
    04:02:028 (3) - ^ so that it flows better?
Sorry, can barely find anything wrong with this except for my own idea of curving the sliders orz
very good easy difficulty!

HOPEFULLY there's something useful I found for you guys, if not feel free to ignore all of them as I don't mod often :( .

00:10:028 (2) - Too close to (1) desu. Not nice looking. Move down by bout 2 girds

04:23:695 (2) - Stack not perfect

The rest is fine desu. No kudos -w-

  • [list:1337]00:10:361 (4) - could add 2 notes before this for a triple? I'm already pushing it a bit with the triple at 00:03:528 (2,3,4). This is meant to be the calm part!
    00:15:695 (6) - ^ ^ Having a triple right after this part 00:14:028 (4,5) is mean ;w;
00:14:028 (4) - could end this on the blue tick to play along to the lyrics? then add a note on the white tick ehhh? This is following the lyric! Both the end of the vocal and the piano land simultaneously on 00:14:695.
00:17:695 (3,4) - same goes with this (only if you're following the vocals QAQ They are following the vocals aren't they? It is emphasised on 00:18:028 rather than 00:17:861 owo In fact, I used to have in at the latter but then changed it.
00:47:695 (1) - potential blanket if you dont mind changing the flow Yeahh... it's one of those that wouldn't work as a blanket.
00:58:028 (5) - ctrl+g for smoother flow? This is pretty flowy for me~~
    02:05:695 (8) - ^ I really like the directional changes between 02:05:361 (7,8) :D
02:26:695 (6) - i get the feeling this she be curved downwards, dunno why Sliders have genders now? hah, but I think the 1/1 preceding the slider is ample time to adjust to the flow.
02:47:528 (5,6) - feels like these she be spread further apart since the voice increases (seems u like make the first 2 single tap notes close then the subsequent ones further apart =O) 02:47:695 (6) is close to (5) because it is stacked on that slider end. Also, having these 2 notes closer really emphasises 02:47:861 (7), which is what I was aiming for.
03:14:695 (7) - could make two circle objects instead so it follows the guitar better? I will consider this :3 but I feel a slider works just as well
03:25:653 (2) - BRING OUT THE 1/16 (OR IS IT 1/12) NOTES \O/!!!!!!!!!!!!! jk Sorry man:

    03:54:695 (6) - personally i'd ctrl+g this :( (something like 04:05:028 (6,7) - ) I guess it's a playstyle thing:

04:03:361 (1,2) - blanket pleasee Haha we've already discussed this, but I will consider it if I can find a way to preserve the flow.
seriously though, I can't find anything bad about this at all
