Does anyone actually rest during this time?
I spin my mouse during this time, cause I suck at spinning :C

Edit : added "tapping to the beat" thanks to Varetyr for suggestion.

i hate breaks, it makes me lose my tempo and it sometimes fucks me up especially when doing things like HD HR

Its a mix of tapping to the beat, moving my mouse to a rhythm, and opening up chat. WHAT DO I CHOOSE

I usually rest, crack and move my hands a bit. Or clean them if they are sweaty.

I just keep tapping to the beat (there should be an option for that too), it helps me a lot while playing HD/HR

usually hold shift and spam left and right arrow keys as fast as possible or following the rhythm

actually i do tap to the beat, spin randomly, resting my right hand, and spam my keys.
but more often rest.

Back when I used to play standard, all I'd do would be practice spinning in my breaks.

In CtB, I just dash back and forth really fast.

I'll do a combo of fingermashing my gaming pad (use that instead of keyboard), and I'll also cursor dance and spin in circles.
I'll open chat, click my mouse, clean my sweaty-ass palms, and cursor dance some more...
