...to appreciate gosh-darned ガッチャマン:クラウス？I know it wasn't the 'BEST THING EVER' but it was close enough, I mean DAT SOUNDTRACK and the art was awesome. I'm astonished wasn't more nominated in 'Best of 2013' polls and threads around the inter webs , it wouldn't have won (because of how it ended I would assume, but that's getting fixed wight he DVD release later this month!) but it's good enough for recommendation, talk about underrated! Literally TWEWY+Power Rangers= Gatchaman
Now that that's out of the way, I'm HIJACKING my own thread. I found Gatchaman to lack something that would have made it my absolute favorite anime: long and elaborate stock footage transformation sequences. I'm serious I love that stuff. I know they're a big deal in the 魔法少女 genre (SailorMoon/Madoka/ShugoChara/Utena) so I've seen a lot of the obvious anime but are there any big ones that I should for sure know about? Seriously let me know, even if they're sentai or whatever!
