Nice work tyrael, although I would still like to see you render a few things i.e her skin and eyes, to bring some more depth to it and make it look like a finished piece.
it was a 1000x1000 canvas so i literally had to use a 1px brush to do her eyes and it was hella difficult :<
I don't know where else you submit your pieces but I imagine you downscale them before publishing, so don't worry about upscaling it in the process of painting if you do happen to realize you're working on a too small canvas. The earlier you do it the better.
You will lose a little bit of detail so you might have to sharpen it up either manually or with other tools, but that's not a lot of work really.

yeah i don't know why it didn't cross my mind ;_; i was torturing myself over the eyes for a good half an hour and i never once thought about making the canvas bigger gg no re
first photoshop drawing in about a year probably
tbh i prefer sai's brush engine because i still dont like working with opacity or soft brushes and that's like the only way to blend in ps
(so as you can see i had to hatch a lot because that was the only thing that felt comfortable)

photoshop broke so i had to take a screenshot and carry on working in sai
