It gives the played a short break time while almost every important note is still in and it's still fine to play it. No broken flow, awkward rhythm or so. Please try to use it.
01:06:136 (1,2,3,4,5) - It sounds to me always better to make xxx x instead of xxxxx. It's your decision.
01:08:536 (3) - Make this as k, the following d triplet becomes easier and k here sounds way better.

Also, I'm not rushing. However, I don't see the point in waiting for someone to return when there is no guarantee (I've already waited for him to fix his difficulties for a couple of weeks).
Anyway, I hope you can understand my position right now. I'm not taiko mapper or player, so I put my trust into taiko modifiers and BATs to held me identify anything unrankable, which there isn't.

00:12:879 (1,2) - I don't really think this is a good idea for an easy rhythm. 00:12:879 (1) - This follows on the guitar (or what ever this is) and 00:14:594 (2) - on the vocals. You should stick to an easier rhythm. I hope you get what I mean? They all match guitar except for beginning of 2, which follows vocal :3
