75,000 looks a bit too low of a threshold of expert tournament, noting that they have no chance against someone in the 20000s, and the 20000s have no chance against the 4000s...etc.

I was basing this due to the fact that there could be a chance that somebody who is in the 60,000s practices more than somebody higher ranked and could win.

I do see your point, but Changing the Threshholds now would goof all the Threshholds up

Since expert is rank 75000 onwards, I'd say it's hard enough.

My point exactly. It's also going to likely make Gameday interesting, because a person could loose by a 100 Point Hit. Tension is high.

In other news I want to thank everybody for the outpouring of Entries, and I know there are going to be more. But from what I am seeing, the Beginners Tournament will be held on One Day, while the Expert Tournament will carry on to a Second Day, possibly even having to go into the next Weekend.

Also if we continue to get high numbers like this for a Tournament, I might have it so that the Finals Group will have a whole new Maplist to work on (You'll still get a week to practice all the songs though, I'm not satan or anything

)

All this information is going to be in the Rules, so you can check it out there also

So that everybody knows, I have changed the points system for the tournament and how it works. As a quick overview so that you don't need to go back to the first page to read it (Unless you want to)

- Instead of doing the Cummulation and totaling of everybodys individual scores, A Point System has been set up which will depend on your ranking on the song.

The Points System

1st Place - 7 Points
2nd Place - 6 Points
3rd Place - 5 Points
4th Place - 4 Points
5th Place - 3 Points
6th Place - 2 Points
7th Place - 1 Point

Mind you I am still working out any kinks so that this tournament can run as smoothly and efficiently as possible, especially considering the now 20 Entries in the Expert Tournament (Which more information as to how it will run will be announced as the Deadline for Entries gets closer). If you do see a potential problem with the points system, or have a suggestion as to the points given, I am willing to accept and consider anything you have to say.

Also I am very excited to see how this tournament will play out. We have some stiff competition out there now, hopefully everybody who is signed up has the Maplist Songs and is practicing them. If not, I would recommend you start
