Here are your options:
1. Posting about it in the forums
2. Not playing hidden
3. Playing hidden
Pick the option that you think would help you improve in hidden the most.
You're playing hidden not flashlight, if you need a lot of memorization then you're doing it wrong.Pettanko wrote:

Nah seriously though the only time I can use hidden is when I pretty much memorized the map.
There would be at least two cases where you have to memorize it in my opinion: overmapping and notes stacked on top of each other (in older maps).Almost wrote:

Some of my main problems:
1. my cursor feels very "slow" whenever I play hidden, not sure why
2. distinguishing between 1/2 note stacks and 1/4 note stacks
3. trap notes, especially ones underneath repeat sliders
4. missing pattern jumps a lot more frequently
Recently I"ve been forcing myself to play with hidden on all maps and I feel like I'm just getting worse at the game. Maps with notes I normally don't miss when playing on HR / nomod I end up missing now even when I take off hidden.
Should I practice hidden by sightreading maps or by playing stuff I already know?
1. probably because you aren't used to not seeing approach circlesPettanko wrote:

Practicing certain aspects of osu generally make me worse at others.idkhowtoclick wrote:
Here is the ultimate tip for everything.
Problem: I can't do x.
Solution: Practise x.
Though it's hard to do that.. I'm a living proof. 18k plays and I keep getting worse all the time ^^... maybe because i get angry idk
Then practise everything?Almost wrote:

lol, slow cursor.. Definitely BS.Dexus wrote:
I also get weird cursor slow down while using hidden. It also happens to me when it's low AR and there's a lot of notes clustered on the screen. I can't do maps like Scarlet Rose because of this. It's rather difficult to ignore this when your cursor keeps causing slider breaks or your jumps get cut short for no reason. It's a big reason I don't have very many hidden scores and why I lack rank.
Gonna use this to see if it helps, thanks.pielak213 wrote:

nice reverse arrow to prevent
Because people assume a problem they don't have or notice is non-existent, or just feel like trolling (I'm assuming the latter, but both are still pretty sillyr).Dexus wrote:
An excuse for what? Why would I lie about the game running poorly and crashing on my computer. Do you really think I'm that disillusioned in myself that I have to rely on spouting utter nonsense in public? Give me a valid reason why what I said was wrong other than assuming I'm using it as a cover. What basis do you have to disprove what I'm saying. You're not playing on my computer experiencing what I am, so how can you deny what I say? I'm just baffled at pretentious people like you guys.
well it might be, and apparently some people can't handle a joke eitherpielak213 wrote:
why don't you guys believe him? his frames are simply dropping for some reason...
Get a better PC, grats on learning to play hidden. :^)Dexus wrote:
yeah I lose 0 to 60% of my frames depending on what I set the frame limiter to.
That is... strange.Dexus wrote:

I don't know how any pc's from 7+ years ago are still alive. Since my last PC lasted me 4 years and could play osu! fine at 500'ish fps. And that was 2 years ago (i.e. 6 year old technology). His problem is something else.Cokezi- wrote:

I believe he said it was only Hidden that caused the added latency?Lach wrote:
Did you ever stop and think that maybe it's Haswell chips that just suck? And it sounds like bullshit that your pc is too strong and would overheat. Components are rated for 95c without failing.
Do you have a PCI-E sound card? If so, rip it out and toss it in the fire.
