I was waiting for this. And you already helped alot with your feedback during tha actual mapping process

- General: (Considerations and things you need to check/fix for the whole map)
  • This mod will make the map 20% cooler. awwww yizz

- Beginner:
  1. .Opinions: (Just some thoughts, I'd personally like if you follow them)
02:04:356 (3) - this gives me orgasms. "And this is how you do it, kids." - p3n
  2. .Suggestions: (Fixing this should make gameplay/aesthetics a bit better)
00:56:174 - a beat here would be very intuitive, also you used it already in 02:39:810 (4,5) good catch. Added a slider to match the beat and the following 1/2 (also the transition was much easier to do without changing much of the next pattern)

A little thing i noticed. Every 1/1 spaced beat generates exactly one followpoint That works incredibly well for the choice you did not to overlap 1/2 spaced beats, so here's a few little fixes regarding that: this is a really nice way of saying "dude you fucked up the spacings here!" - I like that ;)
    00:50:174 (3) - 02:34:901 (3) - this generates 2 followpoints instead of one. fixed to 0,8x
01:29:174 (3) - this generates 2 followpoints instead of one. fixed to slightly below 1,2x
01:38:174 (4) - unfortunately this generates a followpoint, even if it's hidden and barely visible. sub-pixel slider anchor movement to the rescue!
02:12:537 (3) - 03:22:356 (3) - unfortunately this generates a followpoint, even if it's hidden and barely visible. ok this was easy to fix
02:47:719 (3) - this generates 2 followpoints instead of one. ok this needs 1,16x instead of 1,2x to generate only one...weird
  3. .Errors/Mistakes: (Bad gameplay issues or badly applied changes)
00:34:901 (1) - the end of the spinner was snapped to the blue tick before :p yeeees I will change it back to 1/4. I was listening to the spinner ending countless times with various speed settings and the 1/4 ending works so much better with the clap
I went on and took care of 3 other places where 2 followpoints appeared instead of 1

- Advanced:
  1. .Opinions: (Just some thoughts, I'd personally like if you follow them)
Raise AR to 6 and OD to 5? Doing this would also make those values scale better to the other difficulties' (beginner has AR4 OD3, challenging has AR8 OD7) Don't worry about the star rating, it would go from 4.18 to 4.22 and wouldn't mess up your spread. ok so back to the original settings :P I started out with these exact settings but when I was at the 50% milestone the star rating went nuts and was 4.74
  2. .Suggestions: (Fixing this should make gameplay/aesthetics a bit better)
    01:56:719 (4) - missing drum-finish on the repetition? oops
    01:58:901 (2,3) - i think the drum-claps are weird here indeed...drum finish was intended
02:55:901 (1,1) - the only drum whistles in the whole map? xD Well i actually think they fit well, why not use them for the other difficulties as well? I changed it to normal sampleset just like in challenging and beginner
  3. .Errors/Mistakes: (Bad gameplay issues or badly applied changes)
00:34:901 (1) - the end of the spinner was snapped to the blue tick before :p yeees yeeeesssss
02:02:174 (1) - missing normal-sampleset at the beginning it is there oO
- Challenging:
  1. .Opinions: (Just some thoughts, I'd personally like if you follow them)
Mandatory "PLS PLS PLS HP6, CS5, AR8, OD8 PLS PLS PLS". don't tempt me...
  2. .Suggestions: (Fixing this should make gameplay/aesthetics a bit better)
00:55:492 (5) - (nazi) 1 or 2 grid to the left? There's not a slider before this so the same "bumpness" of the other patterns doesn't really work well. My mistake. This must have happened when I applied changes for the mod before. Fixed!
    03:15:810 (1,2,3,4) - should be "rainbow"'d like 02:05:992 (1,1,1,1) HOW COULD I MISS THIS
  3. .Errors/Mistakes: (Bad gameplay issues or badly applied changes)
00:34:901 (1) - the end of the spinner was snapped to the blue tick before :p still yeeeessss
EDIT: i see you specified that you changed the spinners on purpose, but i still belive they work better if snapped on the /4 from a playing perspective (and they sound better because the drums go in "pairs" in that section, while the clap sound doesn't :< ) I know I know...I spend some time to think about it and in the end I came back to the way I originally mapped it

This is the first time I feel like I was actually careful while mapping something. Every combo I placed was insta-modded by myself and I had great feedback (positive and negative) during the creation-process. Even looking back and playing the maps with some distance I still like what I did here (except for 'Advanced' - the ugly duckling).

Glad you like this map :D

These "overlaps" are cross-ups and intended. They are not a "bad" thing to have as long as they are readable and don't hide the most important gameplay elements like circles, ending points or repeat arrows ;)

I have AR6 in 'Advanced' because it is a good match for the SV in this map. I would even go as far as lowering it to AR5 but only because it makes the map very enjoyable with HR since it will boost it to perfect "Hard" settings. But I shouldn't map with mods in mind so I changed it to AR6 and I think this is a good compromise.

It's funny because dkun asked me to mod this and it was already next in queue priority so like um

I'm here for both, lol

Insane:
00:04:356 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - Song-related issue, but I'm always confused by what this is following. It's not so much your fault as it is the ambiguity of the song right here
00:23:446 (5) - This seems confusingly close to (4). It might be easier to read if it was moved
00:34:901 (1) - I'd rather have this end on the white tick. Like I know what you're mapping to having it on the blue tick, but it sounds incomplete doing it there

00:50:992 (1,2,1,2,1) - Why the different combocolors here?
00:59:446 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - ^
01:08:446 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1) - ^
01:09:537 (2) - Would play a lot more natural if this note was at roughly y:350 or something on the y-axis
02:04:356 (5) - Raise the endpoint a little bit so it seems more like a completed curve rather than a messed up shape
02:06:128 (1,1,1) - Remove NC
02:26:719 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - ^
02:45:674 (5) - Even out the spacing here since (4) and (1) are the same distance on the timeline
02:50:174 (1) - Make this curve more notable (Try to blanket (2) maybe?)
02:58:628 (1) - WOOOOOOOOO (It's really sudden and without a tick or something and it feels weird in comparison to the rest of the map being very relaxed)

03:45:537 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - ^

Hard:

00:34:901 (1) - Same as Insane
00:40:356 (4) - Is this going for a ~ slider look?
01:02:174 (4) - This curve is so small that it looks like a mistake
01:58:901 (2) - This curve should be a little more notable. Right now it looks almost straight

Glad you liked it, dkun! Thanks a lot for your stars! I might bug you about that BAT-mod as soon as I am 99% satisfied with this mapset (or my time runs out) ;)

@CDFA:
Thanks for the thorough mod, CDFA! I really appreciate it. I hope the combo patterns didn't annoy you too much because I know they are silly and all but you'll see why they are essential for this map in the mod reply ;)

I'm here for both, lol oh right, I remember your queue :D

Insane:
00:04:356 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - Song-related issue, but I'm always confused by what this is following. It's not so much your fault as it is the ambiguity of the song right here I had two options: mapping exactly after the melody or setting the pace for the "slow" 110 BPM with sliders. I wanted to do the more accessible way becase this remix seems not fit for a really hardcore/extreme mapping style.
00:23:446 (5) - This seems confusingly close to (4). It might be easier to read if it was moved I know exactly what you mean. The reason why I used the 0,60x distance spacing for the two sliders was the overall cursor speed for this whole combo is very consistent. It is basically a long compressed "stream" even if it is slow. Having the 1,00x distance for (4,5) makes for a weird "jumpy" movement here. It is tricky to read this on distance alone but it should feel much more smooth.
00:34:901 (1) - I'd rather have this end on the white tick. Like I know what you're mapping to having it on the blue tick, but it sounds incomplete doing it there I had so much trouble finding a good solution for this part. I know it would feel more comfortable to end on the downbeat but it would add something that, when you know this song because you've heard it countless times, just feels wrong because there is nothing on this silent downbeat to match the spinner ending. Also silencing the ending to match the silent downbeat feels dirty for me. I am not 100% happy with how it turned out but I just can't see a solution that works better at the moment.
00:42:537 (1,2) - Move this to avoid possible overlap? moved (1) a bit to reduce the overlap with 00:41:992 (1) - (now less than 50% are covered and it should be easier to read)
00:50:992 (1,2,1,2,1) - Why the different combocolors here? the THEME!!! I always do something to a) make something "unique" that fits the whole map+song+bg+meta concept and b) annoy everyone while doing so
00:59:446 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - ^
01:08:446 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1) - ^
01:09:537 (2) - Would play a lot more natural if this note was at roughly y:350 or something on the y-axis OK, tried different positions and keeping the jump distance for the next part is tricky.
02:04:356 (5) - Raise the endpoint a little bit so it seems more like a completed curve rather than a messed up shape yup, fixed the whole curve a bit and moved a bit to the middle of the previous triangle pattern to make it blend in better
02:06:128 (1,1,1) - Remove NC
02:26:719 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - ^
02:45:674 (5) - Even out the spacing here since (4) and (1) are the same distance on the timeline makes sense. Even if the spacings for the slider streams are consistent, the transition between patterns was not 100% clear.
02:50:174 (1) - Make this curve more notable (Try to blanket (2) maybe?) Definitely! Had to cut the distance a bit but looks much cleaner now.
02:58:628 (1) - WOOOOOOOOO (It's really sudden and without a tick or something and it feels weird in comparison to the rest of the map being very relaxed) WOOOOOOOOOO - ok I'll take the advice and I'll put this on the "probably overdid it here"-list. I'll experiment with different SV multipliers or shapes to see if I can find something worthy to replace this one (because somehow it fits sooooo well)
03:15:946 (1,1,1) - Remove NC
03:36:537 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - ^
03:45:537 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - ^

Hard:
00:31:628 (1,1,1) - Remove NC
00:34:901 (1) - Same as Insane
00:40:356 (4) - Is this going for a ~ slider look? think of it like a ~ form but instead of the slider add the (5) circle to the pattern to make it complete since it fits the wubwub with that nice ending touch on (5)
01:02:174 (4) - This curve is so small that it looks like a mistake fixed curve and rearranged pattern slightly
01:58:901 (2) - This curve should be a little more notable. Right now it looks almost straight changed to have both curves almost identical and rearranged following slider to fix spacing
02:54:810 (1,1,1,1) - Remove NC

Normal:
00:30:537 (1,2) - Like it's fine theoretically but I have a thing against large straight sliders like this. I'll point it out as a concern but you don't like desperately need to change it I agree it is a bit of a lazy pattern. I changed it to something more sophisticated ;)

p3n is best BAT I don't know about that. I hope moving and therefore spending considerable less time commuting will free up enough time for me to be active again

02:04:356 (3) - Move the little red square down to one grid and two gird to the left the position is the exact position to match the drumroll in the song. I can't change it without calling the wrath of multiple osu-gods on me.
02:42:537 (2) - NC? hmmmm...can't see why
02:54:537 (1,2,3,4) - Something like this? right, the pattern looks crooked right now. I didn't use your exact pattern but a slight variation of it.

[Advanced]
01:31:083 (6) - NC? doesn't fit the beat pattern imo
02:46:901 (3) - Ctrl+J, Ctrl+H and Ctrl+G? hmm looks interesting but I don't like the partial overlap of the sliders. I changed the curve a bit to avoid it. Feels smooth.

[Challenging]
00:32:719 - Put the slider velocity at 1.10x; 00:33:265 - at 0.90x; 00:33:810 - at 0.70x; 00:34:356 - at 0.50x ascending SV multipliers work better with the buildup of the song imo. It is a nice suggestion but I can't use it with the direction I had in mind for this particular difficulty

Good Luck! Thanks! :)

[Beginner]

00:34:901 (1) - need to finish it here 00:37:083 and go to the next tick and click "Insert Break Time" the draintime with the OD here allows for <50% hp to survive this without problem. I'd like to keep this part clean without flashing arrows. But your point is valid...it is not a very "clean" way I am using here

01:46:901 (1) - remove new combo fixed!

[Advanced]

01:23:992 (3) - may do so http://puu.sh/3WTNy.jpg tried it...but I can't do it without changing the following combo and with that all the follow ups will break apart. I will leave it like this and just look at the slider tick that is almost on the horizon and feel slightly more happy with this pattern ;)

01:57:810 (1,2) - spacing. 01:58:628 (x) add circle added circle

[Challenging]

00:25:628 (5) - align the end of a 00:24:810 (2) Combo I tried but the slider would have to be faster with ~1,04x BPM and I don't want to do that ;_; I hope nobody notices this in play-mode

01:52:083 (8) - http://puu.sh/3WUQN.jpg think it sounds better yes also sounds very good - but I want to keep the focus on the background percussion here

http://puu.sh/3WV6G.png I do not know whether there are reasons it... I probably would argue with you about that :P hmm they are the different slider speeds and one sampleset change ;)

02:58:628 (1) - it may be worth a warning? hmmm I think the missing slider ticks are enough to tell but I'll consider it

  1. 02:04:356 (3) - NC.
The SB is pure L-O-V-E <3 <3 <3

Challenging
  1. 00:34:356 - Audio -10% ?
The SB is pure L-O-V-E <3 <3 <3

Hello, just wanted to mod the Challenging diff of this map on my own accord.

Strong suggestions
Personal opinions

[Overall]

[Challenging]
00:28:356 (1) - Make this slider symmetric to this 00:27:265 (4) - possibly. If you follow this suggestion move this hitcircle 00:29:037 (7) - on x:472;y:312, in this way you'd make a kind-of mirrored pattern with these hitcircles and sliderstart 00:29:310 (8,9) -
00:34:901 (1) - Change the volume of the yellow timeline on 36:946 to 5%; Remove the clap from the spinner. [Honestly I think that a silenced spinner works better on that certain kind of sound. Plus, the silence emphasizes the little pause before the chorus, which makes it 120% cooler. You should do the same for the other diffs if you follow my suggestion
00:52:628 (2) - Stack this note on these ones 00:51:810 (1,2) - ? You'd creat a back-jump by following this suggestion, which would work amazingly here.
01:10:083 (2) - Same here.
02:49:083 (7) - NC?
02:53:856 - I think you should add a note here so that you follow the same rhythm w/ blue ticks you followed for these 02:50:719 (2,3,4,5,6) -
03:47:174 (2) - Same of 00:52:628 (2) - and 01:10:083 (2) - suggestions; stack this on these two notes 03:46:356 (1,2) -

Personal opinion: Within the choruses I noticed these sets of sliders: 00:41:446 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - 02:26:174 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - 03:35:992 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - . I'm suggesting you to make a jump between the first 4 sliders and the last 4, in each set of sliders. Something like this:
SPOILER
This is the slider set in the first chorus. Please note that this is just an example with a random-jump (since it's an example I didn't spend time on where to place it and stuff) and I needed to rotate the last 4 sliders to make the jump. If you want to follow this suggestion, you should do the same for the other two choruses; place the jumps according to your wishes and tastes. And for the first chorus don't follow the jump on my screenshot unless you like it.

Great job, I love this map. The hitsounds are fantastic and the SB gives me orgasms (meh, ofc it's made by CNF).

[Beginner]

00:34:901 (1) - end on white tick please? Or is that because of the storyboard? Maybe skin a transparent spinner, if you want to make this fadeout visible D:
00:39:810 (2) - bow it upwards? lol
00:56:719 (1,2,3) - move slightly upwards to follow the direction of (5)'s end
01:40:356 (1,2) - wow, this is ugly, lol
02:24:537 (2) - yeey, copypaste section, bow this one up, too?
02:59:719 (1,2,3) - try this: http://puu.sh/3Zod0.jpg
296,80,179719,5,0,0:0:0:0:

312,80,182174,2,0,P|253:57|189:81,1,130
03:03:265 (1) - such kind of small bows are beyond ugly, remove the bow or make it less bowy
03:04:356 (3) - bow this more, fit (4) into the blanket
03:07:628 (1,2,3) - inconsistent spacing
03:43:628 (2,3,4) - quite linear for such a bowy slider, isn't it? Try this: http://puu.sh/3ZokL.jpg

[Advanced]

00:07:083 (6,7,8) - soooo lineaaaarawr, try this: http://puu.sh/3ZoVC.jpg

00:34:901 (1) - end on white tick please
01:03:265 (1,3) - pleease XD adjust the bows to be even (having the same angle and stuff): http://puu.sh/3Zp4M.jpg (moving (1)'s sliderend works here excellently) - also put (2) in the middle, please
01:31:083 (6) - NC
02:05:446 (1,2) - extending both by 1 bluetick seems acceptable to me in this kind of difficulty. Just adjust the spacing to this. (alternating, yey)
02:08:719 (5) - NC
02:17:446 (4) - NC
03:18:537 (5) - NC
03:27:265 (4) - NC

LD7? please, if you want to keep the NCs XD

00:14:174 (5,6,7) - move (6) and (7) upwards to keep the flow, maybe change the direction of (7) to make it not overlap with the sliderend of (5)
00:16:628 (3,4,5) - the "bow" is too sharp, therefore looks a bit weird. Make the bow less sharp, then it looks better imo
00:34:901 (1) - end on white tick please D:
00:27:265 (4) - rotate by -30° (selection centre)
01:23:992 (5) - should end on red tick, here
01:27:810 (3) - rotate by 7° (selection centre) to fit the blanket better
01:43:628 (4,5,6) - try this: http://puu.sh/3Zqo0.jpg
01:49:083 (1,2,3) - make the bows evenly with the same sharpness of the bows
02:07:083 (3,4,5) - :D u know
02:08:037 (6,7) - whhhy ;_; line them up, lol, this misplaced (6) is not only a bit irritating, but also ugly
02:59:174 (2) - NC here
02:59:719 (1) - remove NC
03:16:901 (3,4,5) - ehahuehua

I know. I implemented the warning as SB elemnts now.

[Challenging]
00:28:356 (1) - Make this slider symmetric to this 00:27:265 (4) - possibly. If you follow this suggestion move this hitcircle 00:29:037 (7) - on x:472;y:312, in this way you'd make a kind-of mirrored pattern with these hitcircles and sliderstart 00:29:310 (8,9) - ok let me try something a little bit different but almost like this suggestion
You should do the same for the other diffs if you follow my suggestion I really like how the 5% slider ending works! Changed for all diffs!
00:52:628 (2) - Stack this note on these ones 00:51:810 (1,2) - ? You'd creat a back-jump by following this suggestion, which would work amazingly here.I had something similar early when I started to map this. I decided to alternate between the stacked version and the back-jump for the two distinct patterns I used for the repeating dubstep parts. I really like back-jumps and they would work here as well but I like the alternating version with one stack and one backjump a little bit better than going for back-jumps everytime (which would be 6 times instead of 3)
01:10:083 (2) - Same here.
02:49:083 (7) - NC? yes...should have done this from the start to make the rectangular jump pattern more readable
02:53:856 - I think you should add a note here so that you follow the same rhythm w/ blue ticks you followed for these 02:50:719 (2,3,4,5,6) - I can't add a note here because this combo is pure vocal follow
03:47:174 (2) - Same of 00:52:628 (2) - and 01:10:083 (2) - suggestions; stack this on these two notes 03:46:356 (1,2) - see above

This is the slider set in the first chorus. Please note that this is just an example with a random-jump (since it's an example I didn't spend time on where to place it and stuff) and I needed to rotate the last 4 sliders to make the jump. If you want to follow this suggestion, you should do the same for the other two choruses; place the jumps according to your wishes and tastes. And for the first chorus don't follow the jump on my screenshot unless you like it. -image-

I tried different jump-patterns for the slider sets and I found one I really liked but when I tested it I was kinda disappointed. It just didn't match the song in the way I am already used to. I know this is 100% biased because I played my own map countless times and therefore changing something like this always feels a little strange at first but here it was really something I felt just breaking the feeling for this part of the song.

Great job, I love this map. The hitsounds are fantastic and the SB gives me orgasms (meh, ofc it's made by CNF). sometimes I just sit here, have a drink, and watch the SB ;)
Glad you like the map, Kecco! Thanks for modding the most important diff of the set. You helped me find the perfect solution for the cut spinners ;)

00:39:810 (2) - bow it upwards? lol hehe why not
00:56:719 (1,2,3) - move slightly upwards to follow the direction of (5)'s end ok
01:40:356 (1,2) - wow, this is ugly, lol ;_; but the ugly is a nice contrast to the sexy of everything else
02:24:537 (2) - yeey, copypaste section, bow this one up, too? up? how about.....DOWN!
02:59:719 (1,2,3) - try this: http://puu.sh/3Zod0.jpg oh well...sure looks nicer. I had to make some tweaks to get the 1/2 spacings right but it works ;)
03:03:265 (1) - such kind of small bows are beyond ugly, remove the bow or make it less bowy roger that
03:04:356 (3) - bow this more, fit (4) into the blanket aye!
03:07:628 (1,2,3) - inconsistent spacing huh? where? 1/2 spacings in this map are all 1,20x to increase readability and prevent overlaps
03:43:628 (2,3,4) - quite linear for such a bowy slider, isn't it? Try this: http://puu.sh/3ZokL.jpg it is a perfectly shaped square!

00:16:628 (3,4,5) - the "bow" is too sharp, therefore looks a bit weird. Make the bow less sharp, then it looks better imo done
00:34:901 (1) - end on white tick please D: already taken care of by Kecco's mod
00:27:265 (4) - rotate by -30° (selection centre) how about -29° to match the other slider?
01:23:992 (5) - should end on red tick, here huh? the drum is on the blue tick since it is the good old 3/4 into 4/4 pattern
01:27:810 (3) - rotate by 7° (selection centre) to fit the blanket better aye
01:43:628 (4,5,6) - try this: http://puu.sh/3Zqo0.jpg I like to keep the vocal follow combo consistent :(
01:49:083 (1,2,3) - make the bows evenly with the same sharpness of the bows hmm ok changed

02:08:037 (6,7) - whhhy ;_; line them up, lol, this misplaced (6) is not only a bit irritating, but also ugly ok ok I made the bump less bumpy for bump's sake

I mean, consider adding kiai flashes on 00:56:719 and 03:42:537 for the very last kiai, also on 02:06:537 and 03:16:356 to emphacize the beginning of the lyric parts (the track also suggests using kiai there, I'd say).

I usually try to avoid the small KIAI breaks but the one in the middle of the long 1st KIAI works really well with the triplet leading into the repeat. I don't want to add fountain spam on the lyric parts tho...I think the SB does a better job at being awesome without extra fountains. Anyway you somehow made me change the first two combos of 'Challenging'. What were you thinking, Tickie!? I am now much more satisfied with the intro of this map. Also thanks for the stars :D

Unfortunately, no. The storyboard doesn't have anything that is as strong as kiai fountains, not even a white flash all over the screen. There's just animation, and this is why I suggested (and I am gonna do this again) adding a couple of fountains. Please.

P.S. This is not even a mod post, but I think I should end it here, because I don't feel like writing something that is, in my opinion, might be silly.

  1. 00:08:719 (1) - finish/whistle? ok added a soft whistle
  2. 00:13:356 (2) - it should be a triplet it should be, yes. Anyway if you analyze the vocals here you'll see that the "you" is not very clear on the red or blue tick, instead it is somewhat stretched across. I think covering this part with the 1/4 into 1/2 slider is easier to get right when first playing this map and if the player doesn't know the song at all. It doesn't feel too out of place to bother me
  3. 00:39:810 (3,4) - they should be placed further from each other and the previous note, just like you did with 02:28:083 (2,1) and 01:05:037 (7,1) for a better flow
  4. 00:44:174 (3,4) -
  5. 00:47:992 (1) -
  6. 00:52:901 (3,4) - (ok you got this, please fix all the similar moments)
for the above: I tried increasing the spacing for this pattern a bit. I don't feel like making it too jumpy benefits the flow of this part (because of the stacks and the accelerated movement for the later combos).
  7. 01:11:719 (6) - make this a triplet and start spinner 1/4th beat later yep, works better
The storyboard doesn't have anything that is as strong as kiai fountains, not even a white flash all over the screen. There's just animation, and this is why I suggested (and I am gonna do this again) adding a couple of fountains. Please. ok, I added the fountains for the chorus and the doubled dubstep part ;)

    01:22:628 (1) - try use drum finish?

01:46:628 (4) - try use sampleset drum only?
01:51:537 (1) - try keep consistency 1,00x? since no reason why inconsistency spacing imo
    02:32:719 (1,2) - stack with 02:30:537 (1) - more neat imo
    03:10:628 (2) - spacing 0,94x here
03:14:174 (5) - so nazi, just NC to keep consistency /runs
03:20:446 (5) - no need use finish imo. just use in 03:20:719 -
    03:31:628 (5) - nazi, NC for consistency

  1. 01:52:083 (8) - This Slider doesn't really make much sense to me, there is no prominent tone on the blue tick but a rather strong one on the white, there is a tone on the blue tick aswell, but the main beat is on the white one so I'd advise to shorten it by 1/4 or do something so you get the tone on the white tick aswell.
  2. 01:56:856 (8) - I'd remove those drum sounds, they are inconsistent, to sudden and unfiting the music.
  3. 02:01:219 (7,8) - Hm, you use them here aswell. If that's so, you should add them on this part ( 01:52:083 (8) - ) aswell, to keep consistency.
  4. 02:04:356 (5) - SV change could be more clear if you added a NC, not needed tho since the notes before are circles, but you might consider.
  5. 02:10:628 (7) - I'd remove this finish, the music is not strong enough to bear the enduring tone and also it seems spammed with the following finish on the downbeat which will have a better emphasis if you removed this finish. If you remove it, remove it on the similar parts aswell.
  6. 02:15:265 (6) - Your previous combos were all starting on the downbeat, why is this not?
  7. 02:21:674 - Don't really feel good ignoring this heavy beat, it's as strong as the one before so you could consider making 4 a Slider that ends here.
  8. 02:25:083 (4) - You could move this a bit to blanket 1 with it, would look more structured.
  9. 02:29:446 (4) - Same but with 2.
  10. 02:58:628 (1) - You could either try to make this shape more special to give it a creative touch, or at least make it a bit more curvy, it's strange to look at at the moment.

00:09:810 (2) - have spacing issue here (0,86x) fixed...even if it is not noticable in playmode (CS3 is very forgiving if you map with grid snapping)
00:32:719 (2) - move to 256,324 for make blanket? can't do that without messing up the symmetry pattern here. It is a nice idea though...I might try this if someone else complains about the long sliders
01:11:992 (1) - add finish? oops, missed that one
01:27:265 (1) - keep use 1,20x as previous like 01:25:083 (3) - good spot! seems I messed up the spacing when I rearranged some patterns here
01:34:356 (4) - end in 01:34:901 - , due a drum in that time this combo is intended to be vocal follow and it matches the vocals right now
01:51:265 (3,1) - nazi, you can make this stack perfectly ok
01:59:992 (3) - spacing issue (0,86x) here not noticable in playmode, fixed anyway
    02:25:628 (3) - ^ ^
    02:33:810 (2) - ctrl+G? imo have better flow yes
02:41:446 (1) - use 0,8x? due i saw when 1/1 you use 0,8 at spacing and 1/2 use 1,2 wow. How did this happen? How could I miss THAT? Thanks for pointing it out!
    02:45:810 (1) - keep use 1,20x as previous 02:43:628 (3) - fixed
02:54:537 (1) - spacing issue (0,86x) here not noticable in playmode but fixed anyway ;)

00:08:174 (3) - nazi, better use 1,00x as previous ok
00:14:719 (4,6) - make them stacked perfectly, i know just different 1 coordinate but i try see in testplay it's not stacked with perfect yes, fixed the stack
00:17:174 - add note here? ok
    00:28:083 - ^ ok
00:40:356 (4) - make symmetrical? http://puu.sh/4b8uA.jpg no, I want this slider to flow into the circle and form a curve with it
00:58:628 (5) - spacing inconsistecy 0,94x here. imo try put in 388,132 for flow fixed spacing but kept the flow as it was
    01:03:265 (1) - ^ (1,07x) oops
01:22:628 (1) - try use drum finish? I don't want to overdo it here. The soft whistle works pretty well imo
    01:41:174 (2) - spacing 0,93x? imo just use 1,00 better ok
01:46:628 (4) - try use sampleset drum only? hmmm I tried but I can't see why it should fit better than the normal set
01:51:537 (1) - try keep consistency 1,00x? since no reason why inconsistency spacing imo fixed
    02:32:719 (1,2) - stack with 02:30:537 (1) - more neat imo right, stacked properly
    03:10:628 (2) - spacing 0,94x here fixed
03:14:174 (5) - so nazi, just NC to keep consistency /runs it is consistent with the part before the previous KIAI ;) and a NC here doesn't really fit imo, because the vocals are from the same line and the beat pauses slightly before the buildup right before the KIAI. That is why I kept the downbeat inside this combo.
03:20:446 (5) - no need use finish imo. just use in 03:20:719 - ok
03:31:628 (5) - nazi, NC for consistency same reason as 2 above

00:23:992 (1) - try this http://puu.sh/4baBg.jpg ? that would work as well but I don't want to use circles on the 1/6 parts. I want to keep this map simple and accessible and that is why I used the 2x repeat slider here
00:25:628 (5,1) - try http://puu.sh/4baGK.jpg? since imo kinda weird skip vocal in red tick vocals are not exactly on the red tick but are stretched out between red and blue. I think this slider does a good job of capturing the vocals without adding unnecessary complexity
00:50:992 (1,1,1) - imo no need NC since the spacing is same the NC here is for the map-theme and not spacings
    01:08:446 (1,1,1) - same ^
01:52:083 (8,9) - imo this is kinda weird rhythm , try http://puu.sh/4baS0.jpg ? I tried something similar but added the same star-pattern I used in the break part of the chorus. Hope this is better as before :D
02:04:356 (5) - NC due SV change? yes. This was a NC before but I changed it a few mods earlier. You are the 3rd person that prefers the NC here so I will put it back ;)

Changed it. I made a pattern similar to the symmetrical star pattern for the chorus breaks. I hope this works the way I intended because it is slightly more jumpy than everything else in the calm part
  2. 01:56:856 (8) - I'd remove those drum sounds, they are inconsistent, to sudden and unfiting the music. I added them on the previous part as well to make it more consistent
  3. 02:01:219 (7,8) - Hm, you use them here aswell. If that's so, you should add them on this part ( 01:52:083 (8) - ) aswell, to keep consistency. exactly ;)
  4. 02:04:356 (5) - SV change could be more clear if you added a NC, not needed tho since the notes before are circles, but you might consider. already fixed with previous mod
  5. 02:10:628 (7) - I'd remove this finish, the music is not strong enough to bear the enduring tone and also it seems spammed with the following finish on the downbeat which will have a better emphasis if you removed this finish. If you remove it, remove it on the similar parts aswell. ok...it was a nice addition but a bit too loud. I can't do anything that fits with the standard hitsounds tho (and I don't want to add custom hitsounds)
  6. 02:15:265 (6) - Your previous combos were all starting on the downbeat, why is this not? because of the pause. The NC has to start with the actual vocals to make this small break work
  7. 02:21:674 - Don't really feel good ignoring this heavy beat, it's as strong as the one before so you could consider making 4 a Slider that ends here. yes and no. This part was really tricky to map "right". I wanted to follow the vocals and include the baseline at the same time. The problem with the vocals is, they start between the blue and the red tick so I couldn't map them with a seperate note. I had to use a slider to fade the baseline and the beginning of the lyrics or otherwise the beatpattern would be really confusing for people who don't know this song or haven't played this map a few times before. I really want to keep this map playable and enjoyable on the first play (without mods ;) ). This right here is the best solution I could come up with that still keeps all my intentions and only drops one beat in a triplet.
  8. 02:25:083 (4) - You could move this a bit to blanket 1 with it, would look more structured. but you wouldn't notice this in playmode. Still changed because it spreads the increasing jump distances a bit more evenly.
  9. 02:29:446 (4) - Same but with 2.
  10. 02:58:628 (1) - You could either try to make this shape more special to give it a creative touch, or at least make it a bit more curvy, it's strange to look at at the moment. it is only a 1/2 slider with a speed up that was slowly introduced by the previous kicksliders. I don't think making a special shape will work here. It is a tricky part on the first play and I don't want to make it any harder. I changed the shape only a bit to make a better curve from the previous to the following combo.
Thanks a lot for your time and mod, Konei!

  1. eh, your spacing kind of feels like it doesn't support the SV well, and the movement is jerky as a consequence. If you ever map a song like this again, I suggest either mapping more beats to keep the cursor moving or use a lower SV.
  2. man you have the double snare at 01:11:719 (6) but you made it play with one tap. Would be much better emphasis (and 20% cooler) if you made them two notes.
  3. 00:30:537 (1,1,1,1) - if it were me, I would raise the sv slower because by the third slider, you can no longer play the entire slider as a hold and it doesn't feel as good going into the next slider. Same with the next sequence. But this is okay since its pretty much a little more zig zag motion which the player will get used to after the first time.
  4. 00:54:265 (6) - feels really weird that you're lowering spacing going into a downbeat. I suggest evening out the spacing
  5. 01:38:174 (1) - ^
  6. 02:21:674 - not gonna map the double snare again? ;_;
  7. 02:26:174 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - in this sequence, it kind of feels like every 2nd slider in the combo is meant to be a seperate idea. Would have been so much cooler if you made some variation in pattern for the second slider of each combo to fit the music. It is fine now, so just a suggestion.
  8. 02:28:901 (3) - again feels very weird that you're lowering spacing going into a downbeat. New combo should be here as well on the downbeat..
  9. 02:54:810 (2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1) - oooh this right here was very cool
  10. 03:44:719 (1,2,3) - lowered spacing again.
Everything else is fine just these suggestions.

  1. eh, your spacing kind of feels like it doesn't support the SV well, and the movement is jerky as a consequence. If you ever map a song like this again, I suggest either mapping more beats to keep the cursor moving or use a lower SV. I know what you mean. I tried to keep this map as easy and accessable as possible without making it too boring. It still is a rather hard map with the jumps and the 1/4 slider patterns but it should be easy to read and all the 1/4 "streams" are compressed to further enhance that aspect. I hope I could somehow make that compromise work here...
  2. man you have the double snare at 01:11:719 (6) but you made it play with one tap. Would be much better emphasis (and 20% cooler) if you made them two notes. I know I know! I changed this into 3 notes after a mod suggestion and it just didn't feel right... Then I realized that this whole combo is following the "wub wub" and not the drums. I totally agree with your point and it really would be nice to map at least the double tap but it would also break the pattern. I just tested it with two circles and somehow it feels like it is breaking the follow of this combo
  3. 00:30:537 (1,1,1,1) - if it were me, I would raise the sv slower because by the third slider, you can no longer play the entire slider as a hold and it doesn't feel as good going into the next slider. Same with the next sequence. But this is okay since its pretty much a little more zig zag motion which the player will get used to after the first time. YES! Finally someone who notices the zigzag pattern I wanted to achieve here! I think the SV change here is not too harsh and with the OD and CS settings I've yet to see someone fail these ;)
  4. 00:54:265 (6) - feels really weird that you're lowering spacing going into a downbeat. I suggest evening out the spacing Fixed. The jump is going into a compressed stream, that is why I broke the jump pattern before the downbeat. I increased it by 50% but kept it a bit lower than the previous jump just to make the "stop" not too sudden because that would be much worse for the flow imo
  5. 01:38:174 (1) - ^ Hmm here the jump pattern actually fits the vocals imo. It shouldn't extend into the next combo because it is only the two notes and everything else is spaced at regular settings
  6. 02:21:674 - not gonna map the double snare again? ;_; I don't even know why I mapped this note at all because this combo is a strict vocal follow...I guess to keep the rhythm more consistent?
  7. 02:26:174 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - in this sequence, it kind of feels like every 2nd slider in the combo is meant to be a seperate idea. Would have been so much cooler if you made some variation in pattern for the second slider of each combo to fit the music. It is fine now, so just a suggestion. I tried something but somehow it feels weird to have all the other slider streams for this part of every KIAI in two 4-slider groups and this one in four 2-slider groups
  8. 02:28:901 (3) - again feels very weird that you're lowering spacing going into a downbeat. New combo should be here as well on the downbeat.. I fixed the spacing into the compressed stream to match all the reaccuring patterns like this onw. But...the NC is on the downbeat at 02:28:356 (1) - :o
  9. 02:54:810 (2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1) - oooh this right here was very cool
  10. 03:44:719 (1,2,3) - lowered spacing again. Fixed this similar to 00:54:265 (6) - because here the jump would lead into another compressed stream and that just feels like hitting a wall for me :(
Everything else is fine just these suggestions.
Thanks for the mod and the suggestions, Nyquill!

This is what i did while i was making the storyboard, but somehow it didn't work properly here.
Changing the lines this way doesn't really optimize the SB at all anyway (it just makes it "easier" to organize in the editor, but i don't even use it), so there was no need to change.
