Well thats not quite impressive since it's a parent that said that. All parents worry about their children, some just worry too much.
you can't do anything but accept what she says for now...

Well I did back up my files to my second partition so I still got them. She said I needed to stop though and work more on my own game. (I say I play osu to just relax a bit after working on my game but she doesn't listen) T_T

Funny story my mother tried to make me quit stepmania back in the days. Just took my laptop and went outside the house to play instead.

I already backed up my files to my second partition and redownloaded the installer just in case. My xchat clients is already configured to hook up to #osu when I start it and I'm hoping to find a drawing tablet somewhere or use my ipad as a drawing tablet. This isn't the end!!!

Still she's basiclly saying "Stop playing that game because it will hurt your wrists and I would rather have you working on your game without relaxing every now and then so to have you rageing at unity because some code won't work." Basicly she wants to distroy my fun.

It's summer break anyways (I think, not sure how Australia's school system works), so you could probably afford to play a bit of osu.

I told her that but she wouldn't budge. She said I was adicted and that the best was to stop the addiction is to "push the reset button" aka remove the addiction from my life and do something else. I told her that I play it to have a rest and im not accicted because im doing other stuff but she didn't listen.

1. it really does hurt the wrists after you get to a certain level of playing. you may end up with serious medical complications. I'm speaking from experience here
2. once you play enough you will start hating this game and would regret wasting your time on it, but won't be able to quit due to all of the time that you already spent (i.e. wasted)
3. the music sucks
