HiSeems your offset is early, try 845.
You never had 'Letterbox during breaks' toggled on the difficulties, as per Verlaren's suggestion. You probably want to do that now.
Importantly,after applying the offset change,
please remember to resnap all the inherited timing sections, especially the kiai time.And...your BG seems to be resized from a smaller image ? I'm not too sure, but you could use a better one.
I'm pretty picky about things like this, ahaha.
Easy:Nothing.
Normal: - 00:59:511 (1) - Why the new combo? Remove it.
- 01:04:178 (4) - New combo.
- 01:07:511 (1) - Remove new combo.
- 01:09:511 (1) - New combo.
- 01:10:178 (1) - Remove new combo.
So, I don't understand the rationale of the combo selection, because you're setting them mostly on non-downbeat objects sometimes.
The rest of the map is fine, I only ask that you could make some sliders better-looking, mostly the curved ones.
Basically, follow the new combos on the proper beat and you won't have to see anyone else after me bother you about placing combos in your map, because I know it's really irritating.
If you can do it right once, that's the best.
- 04:12:594 - Why is it suddenly, there's nothing mapped here ? If you felt a spinner was good enough for Hard, it won't hurt to have one here as well.
Hard: - 00:26:832 (6,7,8) - Might as well stack this.
- 00:23:666 (1) - Remove this new combo.
- 00:27:499 (1) - ^
- 00:42:832 (5,6,7) - Not really a good spaced triplet. Stacking this would be better.
- 00:43:166 (1) - Shouldn't have a new combo. But I see you've made this consistent, so you can just keep it like that.
- 01:06:999 (3,4) - Switch places on the timeline, with the slider going first and ending with the note.
- 01:10:832 (3,4) - Doesn't look very nice to play. You could make the first one and duplicate it, then flip it horizontally after reversing selection.
- 02:08:166 (5,6,7) - Stacking works better.
- 02:21:666 (3,4) - Same with the swapping of slider & hitcircle I mentioned above.
Beyond this are just minor adjustments to note positioning, but one thing I found lacking was the hitsounding because I only hear the occasional finish.
I highly recommend using the drum-samepleset for the hitsounds in general.
This song has tons of drum rolls and hard-hitting instruments all at once, so I don't see why not to try them out.
- 03:08:332 (3,4,5,6,7,8) - An example. Just follow in sequence using drum-sampleset.
- Finish, Finish, Whistle & Clap, Clap, Finish, Whistle - though you'd probably need a 75% volume if there's gonna be any effect.
- 04:27:832 - Wow, why did you omit a note ? Also, at - 04:30:499 -
Lunatic:The kiai time has to be consistent on every difficulty, and this one isn't.
- 00:16:511 (1,2) - Wow, this is really wide.
Personally advise you to make the distance spacing a little less extreme, considering this is literally just the very beginning of the map. I think it isn't a great idea to introduce a 1/2 snap jump right there.
- 00:26:844 (1,2,3,4,5) - Hm, try this maybe ?
- 00:40:011 (6,7,8,9) - Not a good area to have improvised streams, there isn't even a drum roll in the music. Suggest you replace the stream with 1/2 rhythm.
- 00:42:844 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - Unlike the one I mentioned above, I'd warrant this since it expresses well as a finish.
- 00:44:511 - Could use some slight adjustment to the positions so it doesn't look random.
If you tilt your head sideways a little, you can see both sliders parallel to the hitcircle nicely.
- 00:45:511 - Add a note ?
- 00:46:011 (2) - Recommend 1.6x distance snapping at most for this. And for any such cases in the later parts of the map, you could do the same thing.
- 00:52:178 (4,1,2,3,4) - Pretty straight. Try rotating selection centre in clockwise by -4 degrees. And the other straight-across notes as well, if you like my suggestion.
- 00:55:011 (3,4) - Try having these at x:296 y:288
- 00:56:011 - to - 00:56:344 - This part needs some notes, really.
Suggestion:
- 00:56:678 (2) - Like I wrote before, 1.6x distance snapping is in my opinion, a more comfortable spacing without going too far. x:256 y:164 would be good.
- 00:58:011 (3) - How about this?
- 01:06:011 (8) - Don't really get why there's a sudden sliderpoint near the end.
- 01:11:344 (6) - Noticed you tend to have more completely linear slider styles towards this section. I think curves are better suited against her voice.
- 01:12:594 - Sounds a lot better if you deleted this note. The music doesn't really shout for a triple here.
- 01:16:678 (8) - Suggestion:
- 01:18:178 (3) - Apparently, this is a consistent trait on all difficulties ? Anyway, nothing wrong with this.
- 01:22:678 (5,6,7) - Might want to give this a try:
Sudden jerk in movement like that may be completely readable but not the most intuitive positioning.
- 01:26:178 (5,6,7,8,9,10) - Here's my suggestion for placement. I think the up-down hitcircles go along with the guitaring on this section pretty nicely.
- 01:33:344 (5,6,7) - Same suggestion as the one before. If you liked that and applied it, do the same here.
- 01:42:261 - Feel it would be better to have a slider drag through the spacing between the 1/4 note and the finisher.
- 01:52:844 (1) - Drag back 1/4 a tick and add a note with a finish instead.
- 01:58:178 (1) - ^
- 02:05:344 (6,7) - Try reversing these two notes on the timeline. The guitaring would suit the slider going before the note.
- 02:10:678 - to - 02:11:011 - Similar to what I wrote at the start of this mod, filling up this part would do more justice to the song.
- 02:12:678 (3) - Slider mirrored from the one before, so if you did the curve there, just paste that one here as well.
- 02:25:344 (8,9,10,11) - Rotate selection centre clockwise by 9 degrees.
- 02:26:011 (12) - Why this slider shaping ?
- 02:26:511 (1,2,3,4,5) - Looks a lot better if you rotated the angle as well.
- 02:44:011 (3) - Swap positions on the playing field with 6, then swap 4 & 5 as well.
- 03:07:011 (1,2) - Spacing is a bit too large. At this point, your map mostly has the things I've already mentioned. Just go through and do some slight modifications.
- 03:10:178 (1,2,3,4,5) - Rotate playfield centre by 6 degrees. Then shift the entire pattern up by 4-5 grids.
- 03:22:511 (3) - Slightly obscured by the previous long slider.
- 03:46:678 (4,5,6) - So you don't cover up the slider after this:
- 04:17:178 (1,2,3) - Rotate this maybe 4 degrees on selection centre.
- 04:18:178 (4,5) - Looks better this way. Do the same for - 04:18:844 (6,7) - & subsequent slider-note pairings if you think it's nice.
- 04:27:832 - Again, needs a note. - 04:30:499 - as well.
That's all.
