Hi Frosty :3/

[Lunatic]
  1. 00:01:183 (4,5) - While playing, after hitting these two notes I felt like the pattern wasn't finished and.. well. I'd stack them
    Flawless as always <3
[Insane orion]

  • Well, sliders are still "old-school", I suggest you to change to new-ones, the map will be much tidier than now
  1. 00:49:547 (3) - Move a bit to the right to avoid contact with previous slider
  2. 01:18:093 (1) - Flip slider vertically (fix spacing) it will look better
  3. 01:55:002 (4) - Stack on (2) end (noticed that while playing and it was quite bad to see)
  4. 02:08:274 (1) - Move down a bit for a better flow
  5. 02:31:365 (5) - 1/2 grids up?
  6. 02:31:365 (5,6,7) - Also, a pattern like this would be great!
  7. 02:33:183 (9) - Making it almost horizzontaly is much better imo :3 Diff is nice but well, changing sliders will make the map really better to see and to play too (it will fix many spacing issues/almost overlaps I didn't point out and it improves flow too), up to you :3
[Hard]
  1. 00:19:365 (4,5) - Mhm, these two sliders being similar is not a good idea imo try with:
  2. 03:12:093 (2,3) - Same ^
  3. 03:03:365 - Move green line to 03:05:911
[Normal]

  • Nothing worth to say 03:39:365 (2) - move on middle of grid lol

Hi o/

Just some suggestions :3

[Normal]
00:08:456 (4) - I think this would be better as a 1/2 beat slider and beginning the spinner in 00:08:820, to keep following the same instrument for this part.
00:12:820 (1,2) - Maybe try this, I find it a bit hard what are you following for this part.

01:21:911 - Maybe add a circle here, I felt a bit empty this part.

[Hard]
00:08:638 (5) - How about making this a circle and beginning the spinner in 00:08:820, similar reason as in Normal.

[Insane orion]
:!: Preview time isn't the same in this difficulty.
Basically I just found the same rhythm issue here.
00:41:365 (2) - I'd use a 1/2 slider here to give more emphasis to 00:41:365, actually it gets a bit opaqued due that 1/4 notes. Also, remove the whistle from the end of the slider, it'll sound better imo.
00:42:820 (5) - Maybe here too, but there's a noticeable sound here, so you can keep this. Remove whistle from the end too.
00:49:183 (2,3) - *nazi* There's a tiny overlap there.
00:53:002 - A note definitely should be here as this is a strong beat, I felt it a bit weird while playing.
00:54:456 - ^
01:26:274 (1,4) - *nazi* Tiny overlap here.
01:51:274 (5) - I'd delete this to give more emphasis to previous object, also remove the whistle in 01:51:365 (6).
01:52:729 (5) - Maybe here too, but it's the same case as in 00:42:820 (5), and remove whistle in 01:52:820 (6).
01:52:729 (5) - Add a note here.
01:52:729 (5) - ^

[Lunatic]
I'm a bit afraid of some of those 3/4 sliders, specially in the kiai, everything else looks fine. >-<

[Ono's Muzukashii]
Kiai is too empty ;n;
Maybe add some notes in:
01:11:183 -
01:12:456 -
01:12:638 -
01:14:093 -
01:15:365 -
01:15:365 -
01:18:274 -
01:18:456 -
01:19:183 -
01:19:947 -
01:27:002 -
01:27:183 -

And I can't mod Oni as I still can't play, though I'm a bit curious about taiko being quite shorter than osu! diffs, but as it's a repetitive song, I think it's fine.

And that'd be all from my part, I hope it helps, it's a very nice map, good luck \:3/
Tari
Hi Frosty~

Here from your queue (M4M)

Normal Diff
[Normal]

  1. 00:07:002 (2) - Honestly, I think it would be better if you make this rhythm, the same as 00:02:638 (5,6) - or make 00:01:183 (3) - be the same as 00:07:002 (2) - to offer a more of a constant rhythm. (do only 1 please not both >< or it will break flow)
  2. 00:12:820 (1) - I would like it if you curved this a bit more, so it has similar design to 00:15:002 (3) - , but try to keep the slider end position of note 1 similar :3 just to avoid slider end touching.
  3. 00:40:456 (4) - Uh, I think nc would be better here? so its consistent with 00:52:456 (1) - I believe,
  4. 02:01:911 (4) - ^ do this only if you do the above, for consistency
  5. 02:04:820 (1) - And Yes New combo needs to be added here
  6. 00:57:002 (4) - Finish to the end of this slider sounds nice, maybe you should add it?
  7. 02:06:820 (3) - ^ only do this, if you do the above
  8. 02:25:183 (4) - ^
  9. 02:37:183 (1) - ^
  10. 03:23:729 (1) - ^
  11. 03:35:365 (1) - ^
  12. 01:01:183 (3) - Maybe a regular curve slider would be better, It fits later in the map if you do this I guess, (bleh maybe its just my hate for these sliders) basically I think it should be similar to this slider 01:07:002 (3) -
  13. 01:15:729 (1) - Finish sounds nice, I would rather you skip 1 finish beat and miss one (alternate) and this is a good place to add it
  14. 01:20:456 (3,4,5) - Kinda nazi, but these could be symmetrical http://puu.sh/3ofIs.jpg. and might require you reposition this 01:18:274 (4) -
  15. 01:27:365 (3) - Finish here only if you added to 01:15:729 (1) - and this seems a little inconsistent to 01:15:729 (1) - ><?
  16. 01:30:274 (3) - If you added the new combo above, then you should add a new combo here to keep your combos flowing
  17. 01:52:093 (3) - The curve here could of been better if the red point at the end was removed
  18. 02:16:820 (1) - Either new combo should be removed here, or it should be added here 01:07:002 (3) - (Choose to do only one )
  19. 02:29:547 (2) - Move this to the position of this note slider's end 02:25:911 (1) - for more clean map.
  20. 02:37:547 (2) - I think this slider would look nicer, if you move the red point down more I guess, buts its your choice
  21. 00:23:365 (1) - Later in the map you added a finish to a part similar to this, you should also add it here for hitsound consistency 02:43:002 (1) -
  22. 03:12:456 (1) - Try to add more variety and make this slider curvey I guess? http://puu.sh/3ohjI.jpg
  23. 03:15:365 (1,2,3,4) - This pattern looks messy? maybe you can clean it up?

Hard Diff
[Hard]

  1. 00:01:547 - Idk if this was intentional but a note here would be good, it would suffice cause you added it later in the map
  2. 00:30:638 (5) - I believe a new combo should be here, to follow up with your short combo's really
  3. 02:50:275 (5) - ^ only if did above
  4. 00:33:547 (1) - I would also add a new combo here because its where the music actually changes
  5. 02:53:184 (5) - ^ do this only if do above
  6. 00:46:638 (5) - Soo bad at this, but maybe stack to previous note seems better ><?
  7. 01:21:365 (3) - Uhhh a triplet would fit here better I guess?
  8. 01:15:365 (4,5) - Maybe its just me, but I think you should change this to a slider,
  9. 01:50:093 (4) - New combo should be here, like the normal diff really and removed here 01:50:820 (1) -
  10. 02:40:456 (1) - This new combo is unnecessary unless its for pattern purposes
  11. 03:25:547 (5) - New combo, in the other kiai's there are short combo's , so there should be short one's here too
  12. 03:31:365 (5) - ^
  13. 03:38:456 (1) - Removed too here, unless for pattern purposes

Insane orion
[Insane orion]

  • Going have a very minor check on this :P
  1. 00:42:274 (4) - since you made the last one a separate combo, you should really make this one a separate combo too
  2. 01:19:911 (3) - The curve on this can be much more improved really
  3. 01:23:365 (8) - Maybe move to same position as 01:22:274 (6) - for more cleanness?
  4. 02:45:547 (6) - Maybe new combo here seems good?
  5. 02:54:274 (7) - This stream just appeared, so new combo would be appropiate

Lunatic diff
[Lunatic]

  1. 00:42:093 (3) - 00:42:093 (3) - I think this should be like the previous x-x and add new combo here
  2. 01:52:093 (4) - ^
  3. 00:28:456 (5) - Ahhh new combo here I guess so it fits later in the map, I guess around here 02:48:456 (1) -
  4. 03:28:638 (5) - ^ somewhere here there are inconsistent combo's
  5. 03:14:274 (6) - Ahhh spacing should be increased here I guess, to something like this http://puu.sh/3okE3.jpg ?

Hard and Lunatic are well made.

Hey :P
Trying for M4M and new mod format ><

01:11:365 (8) - Anyone else hear a loud clap during these sliders in Orion's diff? o.o

Lunatic
  1. 00:11:911 (1,2) - It's hard to understand this rhythm right after the spinner. I think adding a repeat to the 1 is better.

  2. 00:13:729 (2) - Missing whistle on head it seems.

  3. 00:17:820 (1) - Whistle on repeat maybe.

  4. 00:19:002 (3) - Whistle on end.

  5. 00:29:183 (1,2) - Try to make the spacing the same as the 00:29:729 (3,4) it will look nicer.

  6. 00:32:274 (1,2,3,4) - I don't like this. I feel like it doesn't follow music. Try deleting 00:32:093 (5) and move the 00:32:274 (1,2,3,4) to the left 1/2, then add a circle at 00:33:183 making a jump to the triplet. http://puu.sh/3oqpO.png

  7. 02:54:274 (6,7) - Try adding a NC on the 6 or 7 to help with readability after the stream.

  8. 03:12:093 (1,2) - This spacing is breaking flow imo. Try placing the 1 at (108,348) stacked on the 03:11:183 (4,5,6).

Insane Orion
  1. Why not "Orion's Insane?" Makes a lot more sense for people that don't know you.

  2. 00:20:456 (1) - Try adding a normal finish on the end.

  3. 00:23:274 - Hitsounds are far too quiet here. I suggest +20 or 30%. This is the loudest part of the song...

  4. 00:23:365 (1) - Normal finish on the head would be really nice.

  5. 00:33:365 (3) - Normal finish on end.

  6. 00:34:547 - Maybe add a note and make a stacked triplet here to follow the music. It would be a better transition into the new phrase.

  7. 00:50:638 (6) - You will confuse most players with this slider. The repeat is not hitting with anything, and you skip over the downbeat at 00:51:002. Most players will expect this slider to end at 00:51:365. Please consider extending it by 1/2. Also consider replacing the 00:51:547 (2,3) with a 1/2 slider to have a similar rhythm to 00:39:547 (6,7,8,1). http://puu.sh/3oqK5.png

  8. 00:52:820 (3) - Remove finish from the end, it's breaking hitsound pattern.

  9. 00:57:911 (4) - Normal finish on the end would be great.

  10. 00:59:547 (5) - Quite confusing placement imo because you don't use antijumps like this anywhere else. Instead of the anti-jump, maybe just add a repeat to the 00:59:183 (4). Or place the 00:59:729 (1) differently. orz

  11. 01:04:093 (3) - Try a normal finish to fit with music.

  12. 01:08:456 (3) - Finish on the head is nice.

  13. 01:12:638 (1) - I prefer place at (120,96) for flow.

  14. 01:18:820 (1,2,1) - Jumping feels random imo. It's more fitting to have the jump between the 01:19:002 (2,1) to follow vocals.

  15. 01:30:456 (3,4,5,6) - Try increasing spacing, it would fit well here because the song is getting more intense.

  16. 01:31:547 (1) - Since you have a finish on this spinner, it would be much better to end the spinner at 01:33:183 on the downbeat where there is a finish in the music. Plus starting the break on the downbeat makes much more sense.

  17. 02:07:002 (3) - Feels overmapped since we're following vocals. I prefer delete this note and make it the same as 00:57:002 (2,3,1).

  18. 02:07:729 (4) - Normal finish on end.

  19. 02:13:911 (3) - Normal finish.

  20. 02:18:274 (3) - Try finish on head to follow music.

  21. 02:28:638 (1,2,1) - Same as 01:18:820 (1,2,1).

  22. 02:31:911 (6) - I prefer (96,244) orz. Flow is so bad how you placed it.

  23. 02:42:729 - Same as 00:23:274. Hitsounds are far too quiet. This is one of the loudest parts on the song......

  24. 02:41:365 (1) - Remove finish. The finish should be placed on the head of the 02:43:002 (3) instead to follow music.

  25. 02:54:274 (7) - NC seems really nice here. Try it out.

  26. 03:06:274 (3) - Finish?

  27. 03:12:093 (3) - Finish?

  28. 03:39:547 (1) - Again I suggest ending spinner at 03:41:183.

Jumping seems really inconsistent and flow is broken at lots of spots imo, but I'm sure some people can enjoy the diff.

  1. 00:00:093 (1) - Missing finish on head I suppose.

  2. 00:00:093 to 00:20:456 - Why no whistles? ;________;

  3. 00:03:002 (7) - It's not following melody and feels confusing and overmapped imo. I prefer delete this 7 and stack the 00:02:638 (5,6).

  4. 00:28:729 (3) - It's a bit confusing when it starts on the blue tick imo. I think it reads better if you remove one repeat and move it to 00:28:820 to start on the white tick.

  5. 00:33:547 (5,1) - I found the jump to be too big and difficult to read the rhythm on the 1. Maybe reduce distance, or instead add a repeat to the 5 and have a circle at 00:34:456.

  6. 02:48:366 (3) - Same as 00:28:729 (3).

  7. 03:15:729 (2,3) - Seems like it would really confuse players when you break the pattern. Either use the same rhythm as 01:07:002 (1,2,3) or try to create a rhythm more similar to 02:16:820 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) where you could have build up.

Normal
  1. 00:00:093 to 00:20:456 - Please add some whistles to follow the melody.

  2. 00:23:365 (1) - Missing finish on head it seems.

  3. 00:41:729 (1,2) - Really confusing rhythm. I highly suggest delete 00:41:729 (1,2) and replace with a 1/1 slider at 00:41:911. That way you repeat the 00:40:456 (4,5) just like the vocals repeat. Then to be consistent you could move the 00:43:183 (1) to 00:43:365 and shorten it by 1/2. http://puu.sh/3osjq.png
Oh look, that's the rhythm at 02:01:911 (4,1,2,3,4,1). How funny. :P

  4. 02:17:911 (2) - I prefer replace with two circles. It's nice to click a circle at 02:18:274 on the downbeat and clicking there will make the rhythm on 02:18:820 (3) easier to understand, especially with a NC at 02:18:274.

  5. 03:16:456 (4) - Try NC here, it seems nicer and makes the 03:17:002 (5) - easier to understand imo.

You could try adding some normal whistles at 00:23:365 and 02:43:002. Seems empty without them.

Just awesome~

I hope this helps!

Hi from your queue

Lunatic:
  1. 00:01:093 add a circle here i can feel music there
  2. 00:04:274 stack this with 00:05:365 (2) - perfect
  3. 00:08:820 maybe you forget to add whistle in the head
  4. 00:17:729 you should add a circle here imo
  5. 00:23:002 (1,1) - they should be closed imo since the 1/4 spacin here is 1.33 and the others in the map are 0.6 .-.
  6. 01:03:911 (5,6) - this stack is like a break in the nice flow imo better unstack it gonna play better
  7. 01:12:820 (2,3) - stack they perfect hue hue so nazi
  8. 01:31:729 add circle with finish here then start the spinner on 01:31:820 gonna follow music better imo
  9. 01:43:547 add a circle here imo feel better when yyou play it
  10. 02:18:274 I think the slider feel better starting there
  11. 02:31:365 NC here fit better
02:43:547 (2,3) - use the same spacing 0.60 like do you use before
Insane:

  1. 00:21:911 add 1/1 slider you gonna follow better the music actuallly feel so empty
  2. 00:25:093 (1,2) - lol this make me fail i was thinking was an 1/2 circlers better stack they to be more noticeables
  3. 00:33:729 (4,5) - ^
  4. 00:49:547 1 grid right to dont touch previous slider
  5. 01:09:911 thgis should be a NC since kiai start here
  6. 01:18:456 (2,1) - stack this perfect
  7. 01:19:911 (3) - ctrl g for better flow
  8. 01:22:093 stack this with 01:22:820 (7) - tail
  9. 01:31:547 this should start here 01:31:729 .-.
  10. 02:23:183 (3,6) - stack they actuallly look overlapped
  11. 02:31:365 add NC kiai start here again..
  12. 02:41:365 this should start here 02:41:547
  13. 02:53:365 (4,5) - stack they actually way to hard to read
  14. 03:41:183 finish the diff there for consistency with main mapper .-.
Hard:

  1. 00:47:911 1 grid right to be stacked perfect with previous
  2. 01:09:911 NC kiai start here also you did this on lunatic
  3. 01:31:547 add circle and spinner should start here 01:31:729 imo
  4. 02:41:547 ^
  5. 03:39:547 add circle with finish here and start spinner here 03:39:638
Normal:

  1. 00:32:456 move this to the center of the grid gonna play better imo
  2. 00:50:093 add a circle following vocals
  3. 01:00:456 a 1/1 slider gonna follow the vocals best here
  4. 02:52:820 NC

Nice map looking foward to see this ranked

Hi there; trying to give some mods \o/

*Bolded = Unrankable or strongly suggested; red = Highly suggested or questionable (still weaker than the bolded ones); black = Minor suggestions/rants; blue = Notes/advices to avoid/fix repeated problems. Also note that hitsound suggestions on a diff may apply on similar parts of the song and the harder diffs of the mapset.

>Normal
  1. I'm sure enough there are spots at the beginning of the song (00:00:093 - 00:20:093) that can be emphasized with whistles, like 00:01:183 (3), 00:02:638 (5), 00:03:365, 00:04:820, and 00:05:365. The (almost) absence of hitsounds here is just jarring for me. And the whistles are there in the Lunatic diff, btw. Wouldn't it be weird for a diff to have it while another one doesn't?
  2. 00:16:911 - This in particular needs a whistle. 00:16:093 (1,2)'s rhythm is kinda weird, but acceptable since this is in a Normal diff. Adding a whistle there does make a wonder though, for me...
  3. 00:23:365 - I'm sure enough this needs a finish...
  4. 00:41:183 (5,1) - And I'm also sure enough the NC needs to be swapped because of stanza, and I don't think there's any reason to make the combo pattern look like this.
  5. 01:02:274 - Uhm, I think this needs a clap.
  6. 01:25:547 (4,1) - Uh, swap NC to follow the stanza?
  7. 01:27:365 (3,1) - And swap NC here? According to the song, any note two stanzas after 01:27:365 are what should be NC'd...
  8. 01:30:274 (3) - NC (following the previous suggestion)?
  9. 02:07:002 - Missing clap? I think it needs one though, even if the absence of clap is intentional.
  10. 02:09:183 - ^
  11. 02:10:638 - ^
  12. 02:48:820 (6,1) - Uh, swap NC? I think it should be obvious why o.o
  13. 03:15:365 (1,2) - Spacing inconsistency?
  14. 03:28:456 (3) - I think this still needs a clap.
>Hard
  1. 02:09:547 (3) - Middle anchor point @ (64,104) and last @ (20,100)? Looks better aesthetically, IMO.
  2. 02:43:002 - 02:54:638 - You have all those whistles here, but not even one in Normal. I don't see why should the hitsound pattern in a part of the song be different across diffs. I recommend to apply whistles in the Normal diff too.
>Insane orion
  1. 00:00:093 - 00:20:456 - I personally think you should map this part so it'll be consistent with Frost's diffs, but whatever I guess.
  2. 00:24:093 (2) - Move this to 00:24:183, just like 00:25:093 (1,2)? The instrument is stronger at 00:24:183, so I think that's the one that needs to be mapped.
  3. 00:26:274 (8,1) - Swap NC? Follows the song better, IMO.
  4. 00:27:729 (5,1) - ^
  5. 00:29:183 (7,1) - ^
  6. 00:30:638 (5) - Add NC?
  7. 00:35:002 (4) - ^
  8. 01:09:911 (3,6) - Just saying, maybe you can avoid the sliders touching each other here...
  9. 01:12:093 (9,1,2) - Uh, they don't look symmetrical and nice...
  10. 01:16:456 (5,6) - Also, I don't think the touching here would work.
  11. 01:21:547 (4) - NC considering this starts at the beginning of a new stanza? (I'm sure enough I missed some a while back. Also there's more of this later. I see you're following the vocal, but I don't think this kind of combo pattern will work well here...)
  12. 01:27:365 (2,4) - Sliders touching each other again~
  13. 03:20:093 (3,1,2) - Doesn't look symmetrical, too.
>Lunatic
  1. 00:41:911 (2,3) - Ctrl+G? idk why, but it somehow flows with the song nicely. Probably because of the change of the vocal pitch.
...Err, just them I guess? I think this is almost ready to be ranked, just needs a few minor tweaking here and there. Also a great map you have there, as usual :D

Good luck on the way 8-)

Hi M4M

[G]

Insane onion has different audio leadin , maybe consistent?

[N]

00:08:456 (4) - stop at 00:08:638?
00:48:093 (3) - try?

01:09:002 (5) - add a fin on end?
01:21:183 (5) - I think this might have better flow

01:23:365 (3) - make some variety such as?

01:27:365 (3) - I would prefer

01:30:274 (3) - add fin on head?

[H]
wow I like how normal whistles used in this diff
from beginning to 00:20:274 (7) - maybe add some whistle sound? I think they fits
01:30:820 (5) - any better shape? I looks awkward when other shape are perfect and fluent
01:58:820 (6) - I think this might have better flow: :?

02:15:365 (1) - hmmm I'm not sure but maybe

02:54:457 (3) - why not

[orion]

00:44:274 (2,3) - hmm try to move these a bit left so that 00:44:093 (1,4) - can be in the middle?

01:05:183 (5) - leave 4 a little bit? Too close imo
01:15:547 (2) - hmm I think this might be more fluent

[L]

00:34:274 (5,6,7,8,9) - I think straight streams fit better 0.0
01:17:365 (2) - ctrl+g feels better 0.0 if you change this than also ctrl +g 01:17:729 (3) - this
01:45:365 (1) - make it curved like

03:07:274 (1,1) - kinda ugly imo :<

nice map ! I really like the normal whistle sound you used.

Thank you for modding

If any of you curious as to why I didn't fix something. Please ask me in-game pm or forum pm (I prefer forum pm since I don't like talking about mapping in-game)

SPOILER
13:34 lolcubes: i dont hate extended sliders
13:34 lolcubes: i hate how people misuse them
13:34 lolcubes: these fit
13:34 lolcubes: so np
13:34 lolcubes: some design suggestions though
13:34 Frostmourne: glad to hear that
13:35 Frostmourne: because someone mentioned about it and I started to worry it too orz
13:35 lolcubes: i would probably opt to remove 2 of them
13:35 lolcubes: ill link them, sec
13:35 lolcubes: not because they dont fit
13:35 lolcubes: but because something else fits much better
13:35 Frostmourne: I guess maybe a slider after 3/4 ?
13:35 Frostmourne: instead that it should be a note then slider
13:35 lolcubes: 01:13:547 (4,5,1) -
13:36 lolcubes: design issue is
13:36 lolcubes: wrong objects
13:36 Frostmourne: alright
13:36 lolcubes: because they limit you
13:36 lolcubes: for example
13:36 lolcubes: if you have a circle here
13:36 lolcubes: and a slider starting at 01:14:093 -
13:36 lolcubes: (which can repeat)
13:36 lolcubes: you can create a megajump
13:36 Frostmourne: TOTALLY YES
13:36 lolcubes: between the circle and the slider
13:36 lolcubes: cause of the vocals
13:36 Frostmourne: so it applies this too right 03:21:547 (2,3) - ?
13:36 lolcubes: yeah
13:37 lolcubes: all those spots where vocal is intense
13:37 lolcubes: :3
13:37 Frostmourne: I think I get you correct now xD !
13:37 Frostmourne: yeah,
13:37 lolcubes: 01:25:183 (5,6) - too
13:37 Frostmourne: fix those all indeed
13:37 lolcubes: and those spots
13:37 lolcubes: thats pretty much it
13:37 lolcubes: everything else works great
13:38 Frostmourne: thank you very much :D as always
13:39 lolcubes: 02:54:274 (6) - new combo
13:39 lolcubes: cause it emphasizes the melody here
13:39 lolcubes: which makes you make the jumps in the sliders
13:39 Frostmourne: done :D

The log.
Also an additional suggestion was made to actually make a 1/1 slider at 01:14:093 - (and other spots) instead of a repeater to emphasize the vocals better.

      [General]

About what we talked ingame, why dont make it larger? I think it would be nice apply more streams on the second part of the song (for oni, for muzu...hmm maybe do it a bit harder, dunno).
You know all this mod is a simple suggenstion, and since I am newbie, dont take it to seriously :P

      I hope it will help a bit :) /
