I don't think I'd ever do an online relationship again unless I meet the person beforehand and have a way of getting physical affection from that person regularly. Or unless we have already met each other IRL, get into a relationship, and start planning on moving in together. Then and only then.
You get most of what you want out of an internet relationship as just friends anyways. The only thing that's different is all the feels
That being said, think twice before you make a commitment on the net. If you don't care about what I just wrote above, there's STILL a lot more that can easily go wrong with one. Don't make me start listing examples.
I don't think internet relationships are entirely a bad thing, and this is purely my opinion. They can work if both parties get along VERY well and have profound trust for each other.
