Thanks for all,you do a good job with your mod,the only thing i cant apply is moving the x0.50 timing point from 01:13:989 to 01:11:989 cause it will make an overlapping that is not allowed, since most of the players will fail here cause in taiko inner oni is unreadable.

  • Futsuu

00:39:739 - I think a kat right here would be awesome. There's that really loud screechy noise, it seems empty without it.
00:47:739 - This section as well would benefit from a kat.
01:11:989 - I think THIS note should be a finisher and this 01:12:489 - should be normal kat.
    01:19:989 - same as this ^
01:43:989 - Would be really awesome as a finisher to emphasize the ending of that little section!
01:59:489 - This might be a little too hard for a new player. Consider taking it out and putting some more notes?
02:05:989 - Maybe a spinner here would be good? :)
02:07:989 - this is the same as 01:11:989
I think maybe you should slow down the SV on this to like 1.2 or 1.0, I dunno, it's very fast for a beginner map, you understand?

    Muzu

01:11:989 - I feel like this should have slowdown, I dunno.
01:28:114 (3) - for me, D d is harder than D k. Maybe do D k so it's like changing instead of jackhammering the note?
For this diff, i'm not sure. To me it felt too hard for muzu? Like if it were a 120 oni, then it would be like 7*, so maybe just a really hard muzu? Maybe consider toning it down a little? That part is under your discretion.

    Oni

00:55:176 - remove this note? You did it in the section after. I think it's better for oni, a lot :3
02:05:989 - for this, I think something like this (http://puu.sh/2dUC5) would be awwweeeesome, since the emptiness here feels bad to play or listen to, since I think it needs something.
I think this diff is great :3 Not much to comment on or mod.

    Inner Oni

Now, i've helped you a lot on this one before you submitted this, and truly TRULY I think this is bar-none, one of the best taiko maps ever. It motivates me to push you to do better, because I believe you have unlimited potential. Never give up Kazu, this inner is proof you are way ahead of the curb. There's almost nothing I could reccomend to change. I love it.

Finally the mod.

[General]
Do you have a 1360×768 version of this background ? The current one is 1346×768.
Your MP3 is not alright, it's 320kbps instead of the maximum 192. If you can't encode it, I'll do it for you, with the new offsets. (Unrankable issue)
Firce Force is still in the osz, but there's nothing that tells us there is one in the thread/listing. I downloaded it after your last update. If you want to keep the diff, copy-paste your current folder, to separate them.
You need a kantan, maybe.
Your AR and CS settings should stay at 5, no matter what.
You don't need "Taiko" in diff names, now !

[Futsuu]

Leave SV at 1.40.

00:00:020 (1) - Unsnapped note. This will be hard to resnap, so put it at the very beginning (Use 1/16)
00:45:489 (1) - d, maybe ?
01:25:989 (2) - ^

[Muzukashii]

[Oni]

  1. 01:32:364 (193) - Move it 1/2 later + k
Definitely not much to say.

[Inner Oni]

I definitely agree with Backfire, that was a truly awesome map. It needs very few modding there, I will point out some general things, I really want it to stay as it is the most, if possible.
I recommend you as much as possible to fix the colors on the map (in edit mode, with new combo)

  1. 00:11:739 (25,26,27,28,29) - I recommend using either ddddd or kkkkd. dkdkd sounds a bit weird.
  2. 00:18:989 (55,56,57,58,59) - k k k d d / k k d d d ? The pitch decreases each note at that point.
  3. 00:26:989 (93,94,95,96,97) - ^
  4. 00:49:926 (306) - I don't think this note has something to do here. It breaks a bit the flow.
  5. 01:32:864 - Add a note here ?
  6. 01:36:864 - ^
I will mod the other diffs later, tell me what you think about that and I'll see what I can do. (jk I'm doing this right now)

You need a kantan, maybe. Maybe, maybe not, dunno,i really cant imagine a easiest diff right now.
Your AR and CS settings should stay at 5, no matter what. Ok
You don't need "Taiko" in diff names, now ! I think no,because of two things. First, there are some old maps that their diffs are standard and are called "oni","muzukashii" ,etc. Second, i dont know if you do this, but when im boring and i want to play something new,i tip "taiko" in in-game beatmap search (the maps you have) to search something to play (I have downloaded most of the ranked beatmaps :P)

[Futsuu]

As promised.

[General]

Remove "Taiko" out of all diff names. It's totally redundant, since we have icons/filters ingame and in beatmap listing to show what map is for what gamemode. Maybe add "taiko" to the tags for the ingame search engine.

//Background and Video events
0,0,"Pwnage.jpg",1,1
should be
//Background and Video events
0,0,"Pwnage.jpg",0,0
on all diffs

Inconsistent offset/incorrect timing:
Inner Oni uses: 58ms while all others use 49ms.
This also results in the Kiai times being inconsistently snapped, which is also unrankable.
Also due to new mp3, your timing is off, Use offset: 75ms bpm: 240 on all diffs.

Inconsistent letterboxing:
Remove letterboxes from Inner Oni, Oni and Muzukashii

Inconsistent preview time:
Futsuu/Muzukashii uses 16049, Inner 16058, Oni 15989 - use only one (preferably 16049ms)

puush hates me

[Futsuu]

Don't do speedchanges in the easiest diff of the mapset. Keep it at x1.0. Also consider reducing the overall Slider Velocity to 1.2

00:33:799 (1) - maybe a kat here? to lead out of the stanza better. also consistent with 00:35:799 (2)
00:41:799 (1) - ^
00:57:299 (1) - move this on the white tick to 00:57:299 , the rhythm gap is really awkward imo
01:04:049 (1,1,2,1,1,1,1) - well, the gaps are really hard to guess for beginners. It's hard to determine the rhythm in this "cluttery" music. Try this: http://puu.sh/2qPwe (first bookmark is 01:04:049 (1) -)
01:07:799 (1) - kat?
01:19:549 (2) - kat maybe? to emphazise the downward movement for 01:20:049 (3) -
02:00:424 (1,2,1) - this sounds off, move all three on the upcoming whiteticks to 02:00:549 maybe?

[Muzukashii]

Unrankables

00:00:064 (1) - unsnapped

00:14:048 (1,2,3,4,5) - these speedups are very hard to read. Because every note has it's own speed, you can barely determine the rhythm between the notes properly, especially because the rhythm changes during the speed up (2/1 to 1/1) but these aren't the only weird speedchanges.
01:12:049 and around - we have an issue here. 1.) You placed doubled inherit green lines. Remove the unnecessary x1 section. 2.) You are speeding down too rapidly that causes unrankable overlaps. You should replace 01:11:673 (3,1) - with a spinner till 01:11:924. Also add a x0.75 section (with kiai) at 01:11:986 to avoid the barline issue.
01:14:049 (2) - I highly recommend to not slow down to x0.5 for the entire map. x0.75 is enough emphasizing the lower music density. Also you cause issues with drastic speedups to x1.0 at any point. When removing the x0.5 line, the other x0.75 later is unneccessary and can be entirely removed
01:43:548 (1) - expand to red tick
01:43:986 - snap x1.0 green line here.
02:08:048 (1) - Add another x0.75 kiai-greenline here and make 02:08:048 (1) - only slowdown to x0.75. Also remove the doubled green line.
02:16:049 - speedup probably happened when changing volume. Readjust all volume lines to x0.75.

tl;dr: Your sections here are unrankable, since you double-lined and also caused many unreadable overtaking notes. Use this greenline-setup: http://puu.sh/2qQpz & http://puu.sh/2qQpH.
Pay attention to not snap green inherited lines on downbeats (barlines). If you avoid that, you work around the issue of the weird speeding up barlines. I placed the speedups 1/2 or 1/4 before the actual sped up note. Also replace 01:11:673 (3,1) - with a spinner till 01:11:924 and expand 01:43:548 (1) - to red tick

For easy applying the green inherit lines, here is the .osu code:
49,250,4,1,0,60,1,0
49,-133.333333333333,4,1,0,60,0,0

Let's come to the actual pattern stuff:

01:07:674 - add kat here?
01:09:673 (1,2,1) - this plays weird for me. Try this: http://puu.sh/2qQS6 (starts at 01:09:173)

[Oni]

Use the same green line setup as suggested in the Muzukashii, please.

00:00:064 (1) - unsnapped

00:04:049 (7) - kat for consistency
00:32:049 (120,121,122) - almost all your dkd tripelts are actually ddd triplets :C Please revise the entire mapset.
00:32:549 (124,125,126) - like this
00:33:049 (128,129,130) - and this
00:34:049 (138,139,140) - and this
00:34:549 (142,143,144) - ^
00:35:049 (146,147,148) - ^
00:35:486 (151) - kat?
00:36:049 (157,158,159) - ddd
00:36:549 (161,162,163) - ^
00:37:049 (165,166,167) - ^
00:37:486 (170) - kat
00:40:049 (196,197,198) - ddd
00:40:549 (200,201,202) - ddd
00:41:049 (204,205,206) - ddd
00:41:486 (209) - kat
(and so on... I think you get what I mean? :D)
01:44:549 (253,254,255) - ddd
01:46:549 (267,268,269) - ddd
So many dkd and I don't know why. It plays really weird for me and I would really suggest putting ddd instead. Especially because the music also indicated ddd k instead. (Look at your Inner Oni. It's way better when following the music and actually plays way better!)

[Inner Oni]

Use the same green line setup as suggested in the Muzukashii, please.

00:34:058 (148,149,150,151,152) - would do ddddk instead
00:34:808 (158,159) - kat?
01:44:558 (3,4,5) - same goes here. Would really do ddd here and on all similiar musical patterns like 01:58:058 (135,136,137) - and 02:00:058 (155,156,157) - and so on.

I think this might fix a lot of issues in your mapset, imo. You should gather a few more mods and revisions from more taiko modding experts. Go ask around in #taiko, who's willed to help you.

As promised.

[General]

Remove "Taiko" out of all diff names. It's totally redundant, since we have icons/filters ingame and in beatmap listing to show what map is for what gamemode. Maybe add "taiko" to the tags for the ingame search engine.

//Background and Video events
0,0,"Pwnage.jpg",1,1
should be
//Background and Video events

All timing fixed, some suggestion i didnt took it because maybe with the offset 49/58 (was different in some diffs and i didnt get noticed lol) with the new offset, some things seems pretty normal.
Also, in some dkd patterns i changed to kkd or kdd (some parts sounds better as kkd other as ddd and some others as kdd)
Thanks for modding Loctav ^^
