For Spinda, one would never have enough boxes for all the combinations, and it would take you 5000 years to find every one.
It takes about 40 seconds to get into a battle, catch a pokemon with full health and a critical capture and go back to the overworld. Assuming you caught Spinda before, ran into a different variation EVERY time and got a critical capture on every spinda it would take 171798691840 seconds to capture every variety. That's 2863311530 minutes and 35 seconds. That's 47721858 hours and 50 minutes. That's 1988410 days, 18 hours and 50 minutes. That's 5444 motherfucking YEARS and 32 days.
That's not taking shininess into account, so double that number assuming you also had each variation caught and then it's shiny variation straight after.

I never used that Audino grinding thing because I never really saw the point in it. Something tells me that if I ever play another Gen V game again, I should just level that way. I know I'll miss N though; that guy was my favourite leader ever.

So I'm literally having an epiphany because I forgot that X and Y were on the 3DS. Now, I don't own one but I'd like you guys to estimate the price that it would probably drop down to in the next few months.
Err... didn't they already drop the price before and it caused them money problems?
I haven't really done any research on it. They should sell those Pokémon 3DS things here though. I'd buy like 10 of them.

Do note that the closer we get to Pokemon X & Y the higher that price will go. Your alternative would be one of the sales that have been occurring regular lately, but again, the closer we get to Pokemon X & Y the less frequently those sales will occur.
This is because the reason 3DS's are going so cheaply was due to the low demand lately due to the low amount of "must-have" games for the past year or so. They released some good games in 2012, but nothing that really moved consoles. However, we're now in the middle of a 3DS "rebirth", if you will, so keep your eyes open for a good deal.
