Hello, I am Jenny and I am a mostly unmotivated person as in, I guess I require some reason or feel or whatever to start doing something and since I got more and more askings for mods (since my random checks seem to have gotten feared popular?), I'll just open this "queue" to give you people a chance to at least try on getting me to do something.

I know right, I am a pathetic individual... whatever, if you want some examples for what my mods look like, there's these:

My focus is on: flow, aesthetics, overall fittingness, reasoned mapbuilding and atmospheric feel
Can also do offset checks out of queue.

I probably won't mod multiple (or many) maps a day because my mods take quite some time so please step back from flooding me!

Rule: There can be as many participants each round as want, though I will most likely just pick one or two each - the most taskfitting and/or creative ones (depends on round) will probably win something.
Please read my latest post for rules or stuff!

This modding queue requires you to have a proper knowledge of english language as I will explain my suggestions (partly even very widely) and what is the use of that if you cannot follow me at all?

By posting here you will agree on being willing to make your map the best it could possibly be - if this is not the case, you are wrong here.

-> Please include song name, artist, length, amount of diffs and their spread in your post so I got a rough overview of what expects me.

Also, please reply to my mods and especially, justify why you did not change a thing..

What I expect for stuff to motivate me:

  • - you put effort into every aspect of your map possible (which means getting a good audio, a suiting BG, having a fitting overall impression and suchs - there's no reason for weird 1/4 sliderjumps in a calm piano song unless it suits it in a weird way which I cannot be arsed to discribe because that is totally a question of feel)
    - atmosphere; the map has to follow the songs atmosphere, same for anything else in it, may it be hitsounding, SB or anything
    - will to improve and polish; if you are not willing to improve what suits the song or the overall idea of map-song-combination best, that is not a sign for me to try getting your arse up, what I mean by this is probably explained in the next point
    - no "this is my style" to skip 90% of a mod when there's a reason for these suggestions you did skip; polish your stuff whereever possible and make the map the best it can be. 1/2-spam where there is no sounds is not a style and neither are hugeass jumps when there is no reason for it.
    - consistent flow is a huge advantage over other maps to have your stuff stick out!
Animu TV Saizu- and Nightcore maps are low priority by themselves, I do not enjoy many of these and I don't believe in too much change in that genre << this sounds offensive but it is my perception of the more and less recent past.

Creativity and effort are appreciated!


Might also take an unfrequent look at #modreqs or similars so... have a try if you want to!

Assuming the whole "5 maps after last post" applies I'ma post.

Hopefully this motivates you because your mods seem to be ridiculously thorough, and I'd love to have that.

2 diffs, Hard and Normal

There's a extensive storyboard involved that attempts to create a relaxing atmosphere that fits the map, and the mapping style itself is supposed to detract away from the usual and approach something that feels relaxing and flow-ish as well as constantly moving like a river. On the storyboard: You ever go outside on a clear night? The storyboard is supposed to be like that. I'm pretty proud of it, and the map too, so your help would be appreciated. Especially with Normal: I feel that it could be more fun in some ways...maybe...

HI - 2 diffs for now. Still WIP yes but the hardest diff and storyboard are finished and thus I'm seeking mods for them.

Hopefully I'm doing it right.

You know... I really think some modders are quite bored of doing what they do, after all its always the same and they don't get a real reward from their job, right? You think really bad of yourself, but you really shouldn't do it. I've seen your mods and they are by far the most complete of what I've seen, not just some "Move here ->" "resnap" "asdf", but you rather explain every single detail to the creator so you can help him. And that my friend, is something unique.

Don't say you're bad or pathetic, you have great talent. If you need motivation, then make sure to help who you want to, do what makes you happy. If you don't have the inspiration to mod something, then don't do it... take a walk, go for a ride or something... and come back when you are ready to do more if you want to. Remember, we are all here because we WANT to play, to create, to help. If we don't want to do it, then just rest. That's what I do. I am waiting to gain more experiencie in mapping before modding, but I will do it eventually. I want to help here someday, just like you and a lot more people do.

Even though, i am here asking for a mod. Guess I'm must be a liar thanks to what I said before. Anyway, If by chance I did raise your spirits, here's my map. I will return the favor someday, be sure of that. This is my first map, and I don't really think it fits the requirements that you stated on the first post, or maybe it does, I just want to make it better and that's why I am asking for your help. So this is this and that is that, now that I ripped most of what you said into pieces because of my pathetic attitude, just letting you know I appreciate the thought behind your words but it's just, you are mistaken :v
Might have a look at your stuff since you at least went to show you give a fuck about a thing that may not be as you think but anyways, you seem to give one and even if you don't, pretty creative story then brah.


Also, - closed - for this moment, will probably open up tomorrow or just pick an earlier req or smth; anyways, will let you know.

Not anyone can write poems. Please don't try to make yourself a celebrity, many other people mod better than you and can accept a request only if they hear "please" and "thanks". This all looks like you are going to take money for your mods soon.

grumd, the main point is, I do not like the common "just put your generic shit in and I will mod you and uguu and kawaii and >w<" and basically, I am thinking of stuff that might even feel like a good idea to others instead of just going "Well I will do the same thing as everyone else and this is just your generic mod and modding queue and this is all the same anyways why do I have a name and not a number."
If you do not understand this, fine, stay out - I'm just trying to not let stuff go 100% generic and giving my own thing to it.
