wow, I never expected you to take every single mod I had suggested, I'm both appalled and flattered. I do understand it's your first, I just want your first taiko rank to go off with a big bang instead of potentially risking humiliation by the community D: that being said, you didn't have to take absolutely every suggestion if you didn't like them, as long as they were helpful, then I'm glad to be obliged. just remember I'm not trying to impede on your style, just building on it. once again, you're very welcome :3

I just want to let you know that if you want the rest of the mod, you'll have to wait until friday night because I'm loaded with assignments until then @_____________@

好~ 我等xcherry的full mod以后在来改你这个
kanpakyin
Hope I'm not so picky :/ btw, I didn't use headset when I was modding this.
As per your request:

[TaikoSi]
  1. Why SV1.5? The purpose is unknown for me.
  2. 00:22:927 (82,83,84,85,86) - I think kkdkk sounds much better here.
  3. 00:23:895 (92) - k here?
  4. 00:30:509 (140,141,142) - It didn't fit the music and i couldn't get your intention for the triplet.I highly suggest changing it to simple 1/2 or another pattern.
  5. 00:33:089 (159) - Remove the big note here because it didn't fit with music.Big note should only be used when it appears a accent point or fit the music.
  6. 00:44:702 (251) - A kat is much better than don here imo.
  7. 00:47:121 - What's the purpose for the green line?It seems a bit unnecessary in Taiko diff.
  8. 01:10:025 (425,426) - Remove the big notes here because there are no drum to support the notes.
  9. 01:14:702 (466,467,468,469,470,471,472,473,474,475,476) - What did this stream going for?It didn't fit the music.
  10. 01:17:928 (496,497,498,499,500,501,502) - A weird rhythm here. This kind of rhythm is rarely seen in Taiko diff.
  11. 01:23:492 (543,544,545,546,547,548,549,550,551,552) - A fake pattern in the diff lol Seems the diff haven't attain to that level.
  12. 01:25:831 (567) - I would remove the slider here or remove this note :01:25:750 (566) - for better gameplay.
  13. 01:26:476 - Remove the x0.75 here it looks weird.
  14. 01:28:896 (568,569,570,571,572,573,574,575,576,577,578,579,580,581,582,583,584,585,586,587,588,589) - I'm utterly disagree with the usage of big notes here. Please recheck them and ensure the you really want to use that but this is up to you.
  15. 01:48:734 (665,666,667,668,669,670,671,672,673) - So fake. lol
  16. 01:52:605 (691,692,693,694,695) - Again the usage of finish.
  17. 02:04:540 (790,791) - It didn't fit the music :/
  18. 02:09:379 (x0 - I think a note here would be nice.
  19. 02:25:509 (66,67,68,69,70,71,72,73,74,75,76,77,78,79,80,81,82,83,84,85,86,87,88,89,90,91,92,93,94,95,96,97,98,99,100,101,102) - I highly recommend removing the finish note at the end of the stream because of long stream and tricky pattern.
  20. 02:54:863 (76,77) - Rhythm problem here again.
Done!
Xakyrie
no Midasmens, I didn't forget about your mod
I slept in and slept early last night because of things, I hope you understand TAT

so then, lets do a recheck of what I had suggested and point out some things I might have missed. don't forget you can always decline any of my suggestions, it is your taiko after all.

[TaikoSi]

  1. 00:15:105 (12) - sorry about fixing this, but make this a o for better playing and sound.
  2. 00:16:396 (23) - ^
  3. 00:15:993 (18,19,20,21,22,23,24) - this should be ooooooo (noting that all patterns, like I had fixed above, should be like this for consistency).
  4. 00:18:653 (42) - o
  5. 00:19:541 (51,52) - you should try:
    1. o o
    2. ooo
    3. ooo
  6. 00:20:267 (58) - o
  7. 00:20:509 (60,61,62,63) - oooo
  8. 00:21:153 (64,65,66,67,68,69,70) - the consistent pattern here: ooooooo
    00:22:202 (76) - o
  9. 00:22:928 (83,84,85,86,87) - ooooo
  10. 00:23:412 (88,89,90,91,92) - reverse: ooooo
  11. 00:25:750 (106) - I think you get this by now: o xD
  12. 00:31:879 (x) - o, sounds better, sorry for not noticing before.
  13. 00:32:040 (155) - remove.
  14. 00:32:524 (158) - o is nice here.
  15. 00:33:089 (160) - just normal o
  16. 00:42:605 (234,235,236,237,238,239) - I'll suggest something else: ooo o o
  17. 00:43:251 (239,240,241,242,243,244,245) - ooooooo
  18. 00:51:234 (285) - if you want: o
  19. 00:56:798 (318,319,320,321,322) - try ooooo
  20. 00:59:783 (344) - delete?
  21. 01:01:153 (356,357,358,359,360) - should try ooo o
  22. 01:02:363 (x) - add a o here.
  23. 01:02:444 (367,368) - what about o O?
  24. 01:03:251 (371) - O instead.
  25. 01:05:993 (392,393) - oo
  26. 01:05:831 (390,391,392,393,394,395) - okay different approach since the finish doesn't fit: ooo O o
  27. 01:06:476 (395,396,397,398,399) - ooooo
  28. 01:07:927 (407,408,409,410,411,412,413) - ooo o o
  29. 01:10:670 (427,428,429,430,431) - ooo o
  30. 01:12:363 (442) - remove.
    01:12:444 (442,443,444) - ooo
  31. 01:13:089 (449) - o
  32. 01:14:702 (462,463,464,465,466,467,468,469,470,471,472) - try:
    1. o ooo o o o
    2. o ooo O O O
    3. o O O O O O
  33. 01:15:669 (469) - remove.
alright this should be okay, I'll check it again once you finish this next part. continuing on:

  1. 01:16:315 (473,474) - switch to o o
  2. 01:16:153 - 01:25:831 - you should most likely copy/paste this section from the beginning since it's the same, it'll keep a very nice consistency instead of going through this and thoroughly refining it until it is quite similar. Give it a try, just so you know, it is perfectly okay to copy/paste in taiko... in fact, it's not even frowned upon.
  3. 01:26:476 - 01:31:153 - lets fill this in properly. Do you need help? I'd rather help you irc so we can delve into your understanding a bit more... I mean, I just want to help you out >A<
  4. 01:31:154 (566) - o
  5. 01:31:153 (566,567,568,569) - o__o o
    01:31:799 (569) - remove.
  6. 01:32:122 (570,571,572) - o
  7. 01:32:444 (572) - remove.
  8. 01:32:767 (571,572) - no finishes, just o o
  9. 01:33:573 (574) - o
  10. 01:33:734 (575,576,577,578) - o o o o
  11. 01:34:863 (580) - o instead.
  12. 01:35:186 (581,582) - either or here:
    1. o o
    2. reverse: o o
  13. 01:36:960 (x) - o
    01:37:122 (586) - o
  14. 01:37:363 (x) - o
  15. 01:37:758 (x) - o
  16. 01:38:008 (x) - o
  17. 01:38:089 (594,595,596,597) - lets try something else: oo o o o
  18. 01:39:621 (x) - a o here, perhaps?
    01:38:734 (599,600) - reverse the two so it's oo
  19. 01:39:863 (x) - o
  20. 01:40:269 (x) - ^
  21. 01:41:315 (619,620,621) - how about ooo?
  22. 01:41:638 (622) - o
  23. 01:42:282 (627) - ^
  24. 01:42:928 (632) - ^
  25. 01:43:251 (634,635,636,637,638) - why not ooooo?
  26. 01:44:218 (641) - regular o
  27. 01:44:541 (642,643,644,645) - try either:
    1. o ooo o
    2. o o o o
  28. 01:45:347 (646) - o
  29. 01:45:521 (x) - o sounds better when it's put here.
  30. 01:45:670 (648) - o
  31. 01:46:154 (651,652,653,654,655,656,657,658,659,660) - lets try: ooo ooooooo
  32. 01:49:057 (671) - o
  33. 01:49:218 (673) - o
  34. 01:49:299 (674,675) - switch so it's oo, so the pattern here should be: ooooooooo
  35. 01:49:540 (xx) - please add a o, you can hear the sound in the background.
  36. 01:49:702 (678) - remove finish so it's o
  37. 01:50:024 (679) - add finish so it's O
  38. 01:50:508 (681) - ^
  39. 01:51:154 (682,683,684,685,686,687,688,689,690,691,692,693) - flip it so the two in the beginning are oo and the rest are o's, sort of like how you had it in the beginning.
  40. 01:52:605 (694) - o, the finish doesn't fit and it is in tune with the previous bridge.
  41. 01:52:766 (695) - remove.
  42. 01:52:766 (x) - just copy the section for this part at 00:50:670 (281) to keep consistent throughout the map.
  43. 01:54:057 - 01:56:153 - I suggest you just copy the section from 00:52:121 - 00:54:218.
  44. 01:56:798 - 01:57:444 - lets try a pattern to fit the stream, either:
    1. ooooo___O (this is consistent with the beginning but it's totally up to you)
    2. ooooooooo
  45. 01:57:605 - 02:17:444 - I also suggest you copy the first chorus, from 00:55:669 - 01:15:508
  46. 02:17:686 (x) - o
  47. 02:18:412 (893) - o
  48. 02:19:057 (898) - ^
  49. 02:19:621 (x) - to keep flow, try o here.
  50. 02:20:025 (905,906,907,908,909,910,911,912,913) - how about... ooooooooo
  51. 02:20:831 (x) - lets fill this in: o o o
  52. 02:21:315 (917) - no finish, just o
  53. 02:21:482 (xx) - lets put in:
    1. oo
    2. oo
  54. 02:24:299 (945) - remove.
  55. 02:24:380 (945,946) - switch so it's oo
  56. 02:24:863 (949,950,951,952) - a better suited pattern here would be: ooooo
  57. 02:25:427 (x) - works well here.
  58. 02:25:508 (955) - maybe a o would sound better here.
  59. 02:25:589 (957) - remove.
  60. 02:25:751 (958) - ^
  61. 02:25:750 (x) - add a o here so that the next pattern will be consistent.
02:25:831 (958,959,960,961,962,963,964,965,966,967,968,969,970,971,972,973,974,975,976,977,978,979,980,981,982,983,984,985,986,987,988,989,990) - not consistent enough with the music. lets try something new: ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
  62. 02:29:218 (994) - O to be consistent, if you'd like.
  63. 02:30:751 (1000) - o works better here D:
  64. 02:30:912 (1002) - ^
  65. 02:37:767 (1044) - o
  66. 02:38:089 (1045) - O instead.
  67. 02:38:573 (1049) - o
  68. 02:39:702 (1057) - ^
  69. 02:40:025 (1059) - o
  70. 02:40:347 (1061) - o
  71. 02:41:960 (7) - no finish, just o
  72. 02:42:282 (x) - o
  73. 02:42:605 - 02:45:024 - fill this in , following the vocals if you've been following that closely or the guitar.
  74. 02:45:025 (1) - o
  75. 02:45:186 (2) - get rid of the slider and map it. I tried this and it sounds fine but try yourself first before looking at this: o ooo ooo ooo
  76. 02:46:315 (x) - a o to lead into the next sound.
  77. 02:46:476 (13) - try O to accentuate the sound here.
  78. 02:46:799 (14) - o
  79. 02:46:960 (15) - o
  80. 02:47:444 (18,19,20,21,22) - a better pattern to follow the sounds: ooooo
  81. 02:47:927 - 02:52:282 - as I had said before, copy the other chorus. so delete everything between those times (and the notes already on it) and copy/paste 01:11:153 - 01:15:508.
  82. 02:52:363 (60) - remove.
  83. 02:52:686 (63) - o
  84. 02:52:928 (66) - o
  85. 02:53:411 - 03:02:605 (143) - copy from 00:55:992 - 01:05:186
  86. 03:02:767 (1) - o
  87. 03:02:928 (2) - o
  88. 03:03:009 (3) - o
  89. 03:03:412 (7) - o
  90. 03:03:492 (8) - o only if you want.
  91. 03:03:734 (10) - o to accentuate this part here.
  92. 03:03:896 (11) - o
  93. 03:03:976 (12) - o
  94. 03:04:218 (15) - o
  95. 03:04:380 (16) - ^
  96. 03:04:764 (2) - ^
  97. 03:05:194 (4) - ^
  98. 03:07:414 - 03:10:639 - you might want to just copy/paste 01:13:250 - 01:16:154. Once done, you'll need to move everything but 03:07:414 (9) over to the next white tick, 03:07:736. then move everything again but 03:07:414 (9,10) to the next white tick, 03:08:059.
That should be all for now! I want to see the updated version so I can skim through again. I want to take up the rest of the mod through irc because I'm taking up a lot of thread space and it might be best so I can help you, S h i a, if you want UwU ~

We'll need to go through the blanks I mentioned. It'll be good practice, trust me.
Also some of the copy/paste might need to be rearranged to fit the music better, but as for now it's fine. if you want, toggle around to fit your style in a bit more if you think it's too much.

yes, next time please new combo your notes so it's easier to read, and/or space them out so it doesn't take modders extremely long periods of time to mod and find out what note is what :3

no kudosu if you don't want because this is the continuation of a previous mod.

it took me over 5 hours ; ;

I'll be hearing from you again shortly ^~^

Because S h i a is busy with his working and he doesn't have any time to fix the problems which some modders point out.
After he said to help him do that I have changed something in the Taiko diff

@xcherry Thank you so much for your five hours mod~~ lol

Everything seems fine now~

Mod from the Challenging queue~

[General]

Nice map~

[Normal (Banana)]
- Even this is 3 star difficulty, AR3 is bit too low for this high-tempo song. maybe AR 4 or 5 (4 might be ok)?
- Generally, Normal maps has flow on curser. Idk how to explain, but let's use image here :
Usually, Normal maps cursor movement follows preety smooth and soft, like this : http://puu.sh/y4DM
(Purple, Blue, Reds are just new combos, and arrows are how the map "flows"
but this map feels little like this : http://puu.sh/y4G6 (lol, shit my drawing sucks) , pink points are repeats

for example, at 00:28:412 (3,1) - , if you do it like http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/330713 this way, (still the shape needs to much much preetier, just an example)
you see how cursor flows naturally from previous (2) to next (1)?

I hope this is understandable, I will give some examples about this on the further modding

You don't really need to follow it , but usually normal maps has soft flow and fine cursor movements.
since this is matter of style if you deny to do it then I will respect it, but imo this way is better ^o^//

- some sliders (especially those with 2 of more turning points and repeating sliders) can be shaped better I think. I'm not gonna point about those things, but I would suggest the mapper to redo some (just a little will make it much better) works to the sliders (you might just move 1 or 2 grids for each turning point, but it will make it look much better)

00:29:702 (1,2) - this pattern doesn't look godo in my opinion (because about how 1 and 2 overlaps)
00:55:831 (1) - shorten this to 00:56:153 fits better i think.
00:58:089 (1) - this looks bit offscreen (although not completly) and should fix it i think
Plus, the Osu!Wiki saids especially in easier diffs, this isnt allowed o.o/
01:27:444 (2) - ^
01:57:767 (1) - same as 00:55:831. btw i think 02:00:670 (2) - is good, but 01:57:767 is not good
02:49:702 (5) - This almost became must for how it's offscreen. in testplay they are in screen, but as normal, this is not suggested (look on osu! wiki for this issue)

[Hard (Kite)]
- I'm not being lazy, I tried very hard for this map, but this map seemed almost perfect, therefore almost no mod would be done here.
It would be annoying and frustrating If i just nazi this for no reason. really, this almost seems like a perfect map and even I tried preety hard, couldn't find much

00:15:509 (1) - I would say to drag this down little bit. but since is almost like insane-hard, maybe fine, but still..
01:14:702 (5,6,7,8) - there are many little-offscreen parts but they probobly played ok. but in this part, I kinda felt cornered and felt something strange o.o..maybe change a bit?

[Insane]
- Just like hard, could find almost nothing cuz of the map is ok as is already.

Long sliders like these 00:29:702 (1) - can be done better Imo

00:57:767 (3) - This better go downward at the start (like this : http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/330717) because small overlap on previous (5) makes me feel like the map is less in order
01:10:993 (7,1,2,3) - (pattern suggestion) http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/330719
02:50:347 (1,2,3,4) - (order suggestion) http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/330720 , because I think this plays better, and currently, current (1) is in at path of 02:49:380 (3,4) and I don't think it's a good idea to pass there again when it's very short time between when

Plus I want to mention that my map for challenge changed, just saying in case if you would mod wrong map :3

nice map again, good luck~

- Isn't stack leniency too low? I think it should be 6

~Banana's Normal~
02:29:057 (2) - remove finish
02:29:702 (3) - remove all finishes, add clap on all notes
02:31:638 (2) - remove finish at start, add clap at start and end
02:32:606 (3) - add finish and clap on all notes
02:40:025 (4) - remove finish at the end (because it makes 02:41:315 part too loud)
03:04:579 (1) - end with normal hitsound
03:08:059 (1) - ^

~Kite's Hard~
00:51:638 (5) - end with normal hitfinish
00:52:605 (6) - use normal hitsound
00:52:767 (1) - start on white tick
01:53:573 (5) - end with normal hitfinish

~Insane~
00:15:509 (2) - don't use repeat
00:16:798 (1) - ^
02:54:057 (2) - this note is really hard to notice, move away from slider's end or swap position with 02:53:895 (1)

Fixed some things in normal and hard~
And my insane diff wasn't change cause it plays well on it. >.<

Go! Go! Fight!!

@DJPop Thaks for your mod~ >3<

It isn't about play well, it's about how it fits the music (I mean 2 repeat sliders), but anyway :

~Banana's Normal~
- OD is too low, change to 3

~Kite's Hard~
00:52:767 (1) - start at 00:52:927 (to be similar to 01:54:863) and I don't see any reason not to fix this

For the taiko map, there's a double/overlapping note 33 notes from the very end. Might want to check that.

Taiko:
03:00:345 (1) - Unsnapped!
03:01:475 (11,12) - These two notes are on the same place! This is like, SUPER unrankable.

Insane:
00:19:057 - add note here?
00:19:218 - ^
00:19:379 - ^
00:34:702 - It doesn't look like this timing section does anything
01:06:154 (2) - Use normal hitsounds for this finish?
02:01:638 (7) - Not moe overlap ;~;
02:04:863 (3) - Make this stack with the previous (5)
03:01:637 (4) - Add clap on beginning of slider?

Hard:
00:25:831 (2) - Bit of a weird slider
00:51:638 (5) - Make this symmetrical?

Normal:
00:16:154 (3) - Make this curve more notable?
00:24:541 (1) - From the way this is structured, it looks like you were trying to make a ~ slider. If you were, make it more notable~ If you weren't then make this look more moe :D
00:34:863 (3) - Make the curve more notable
