00:26:200 (2) - either silence (5%) the slider ending (and preferably end it 1/8 earlier if you want to match the vocals) or end it 1/4 earlier on the white tick...sounds weird as it is now It's actually going with the guitar there. I have all of my difficulties set up to end right here and later in the song (where you pointed it out as well) to indicate the personality swap and mapping style change.
01:02:200 (1) - so much hitsound win ♥ ♡
[Normal]
01:26:762 (3) - ending this slider on the following red tick 01:27:137 feels much better to me See above
02:24:512 (X) - add note? would be more consistent with the beat pattern you used before (the parts where this beat is left out are a bit different @02:06:512 & @00:53:012) Mm, as much as I'd like to follow the vocals 1:1 I wanted to simplify things a little bit considering how difficult this Normal ended up anyway.
[Insane]
those high spacing streams combined with small circle size are cruel...I like that What I don't like is §$#+&/ grid snapping in some of those streams. They need very high accuracy to be played with mouse only and the slightest spacing inconsistency makes me (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻)
Probably much better to disable grid snapping for placing those streams...most of them are pretty accurate though Checked through and evened out spacing where I noticed. Hope I got 'em all. Thanks for the heads up there.
00:18:700 (1) - missed a whistle on the starting point? Intended. My hit sounding is weird, hehe. Following accents on vocals for that part, and the starting note isn't strong relatively to my ear.
00:32:200 (3) - sounds out of place here, maybe start the following slider (4) here instead? Follows up the rhythm from 00:29:482 (3,4,5) - though I can see why you did your suggestion. It isn't... as radically different as I'd like though. I want the part this early to be drastically different before it winds down back to normality and the introspection of the slow part of the song.
02:25:075 (6,7) - jump feels really weird here Hm, I felt that 02:25:075 (6,7) - kind of set this up fairly well though. I'll see if anyone else brings this up.

01:45:325 (4) - extend to end on downbeat (big white tick)? feels out of place otherwise
01:49:450 (7,1,2,3,4) - is it intended for those objects to be not in line?
02:03:512 (1) - add clap?
02:14:762 (5,6,7,1) - depending on the skin (here: default) the yellow sliderfollowcircle and the yellow appraching circles overlap and make this very confusing. You could re-arrange the combos to have (5,6,7) in a different color than yellowmaybe ok now..?
02:42:325 (2,1) - 2x repeat sliders almost never play good nor are they necessary. I'd recommend using 3x repeats instead of 2x repeats + circle (delete (1) and add 1x repeat to the kickslider)

I have to disagree. The black contrasts fine against the bright background. Also, if you can, go check out the lyrics for this. It's far from "cute," trust me.
Also,here's a submit error?
I'll fix it later. The maps are uploaded, and that's what matters most.

160BPM AR9? I suggest AR-1 If I do AR -1, the SV will be too slow. I'll also want to increase circle size. Essentially remapping the majority of this. This was something I worried over for awhile, and gathered opinions from all around. I decided to stick with AR9 with this CS. Larger CS also kills the fun of the spaced streams, so I'd rather keep it as it is.
00:14:200 to 00:15:325 - I suggest to add some notes here. Sound tracks of the songs are obvious and add some notes can keep the map goes flow. Here is the example: http://puu.sh/gCTP I'd rather keep silence here.
00:23:575 - I can hear a drum sound here so I suggest to add a circle here. I wanted that space in rhythm since the じゃ just kind of trails off instead of having a definitive ending.
00:27:700 (2,3,4,5) - I feel a little weird of these double 1/4 pattern. I thing a reverse 1/2 slider is better.
00:29:012 (8,9,1,2) - A little weird of these 4-notes stream. I suggest to change this pattern to a circle+ 1/2slider.
00:30:606 (2) - delete this 1/4
00:31:168 (5) - delete
00:31:356 (5) - Add a circle here and stack 4 5 6
00:32:106 (2) - delete This whole section is the personality flip. The point is to have a big change like this.
00:53:012 (1,2,3) - the spacing here is a little bit horrible for a triple rhythm.
00:55:825 (1,2,3,4,5) - ^ I suggest this way: http://puu.sh/gCY5
00:59:012 (1,2,3) - horrible large spacing The point of this map was to showcase the awesome large spaced streams.
01:02:200 (1) - I suggest end at 01:04:450, and add a circle at 01:04:637. Then position suggestion about the coming 3 circles: http://puu.sh/gCZj If anything, I'd end it at 01:04:262 - but then it leaves a big space during such a powerful part that it's kind of boring. That's why I kept the spinner all the way to the first "あ" in the first place.
01:21:700 - Add a circle here?
01:25:825 - Add a circle here? Nah
02:25:075 (6,7) - shock me! A suddenly huge jump~ low down the distance a bit. Since you're the second to mention it, I changed things a bit.
Too hard to be a 160BPM map....However, good luck, Garven. The BPM shouldn't be your deciding factor - it's the intensity of the piece. And I'm thinking the power this song carries is good enough, along with the mapping style I'm trying out here it seems to work.
Thanks for the look! I dunno what I'm going to do with the slider end snaps... seems people don't like them, but they're essential for what I mapped. Blarg.S h i o n wrote:

00:26:200 (2) - Were you trying to catch that strange sound? It's snapped by 1/8?! If you play it by 25% speed and you'll find that sound doesn't start exactly on 00:27:090 where you put the slider end on. How about just following the vocal and putting the end on 00:26:950 ? The 1/8 is closer than any of the snaps nearby. And I want to highlight that chord.
01:01:262 (4) - NC here? Nah
01:32:200 (3) - Shorten it by 1/2 will be much better to me because the vocal is stronger on 01:32:950. I like the different snap than the usual here.

please change the black combo color. if the user deletes the BG, it'd be hard for them to see the black combo color. That's not an unrankable reason. The color fits fine against the BG. If users delete the BG, that is their own problem.
is there a reason why the warning arrow is in the folder? i don't see any other skin elements but this being used. Storyboard element.
add "Egomama" and "love distance song" on the tags since that's the name of the album it's in? Nah. Those are also the names of the other two tracks in the album. It's kind of pointless.
I think you should set a lead on. i suggest 1000 or 500 because the song starts a bit too sudden. Feels fine for me. You can't even see any map elements at the lowest AR when the song starts.
[Easy]
I think AR3 is a bit too fast for this diff. i suggest AR2 to make it easier? AR2 is too slow for the general velocity I have set up.
00:13:637 (3) - maybe make this a 1/1 slider to make it easier? i think the 1/2 repeat slider might be a bit difficult foe players. It's... not going anywhere and there's nothing after it. I'm thinking a slider like this is okay with those conditions.
00:27:700 (1) - replace the whistle for a finish. IMO the whistle is a bit too quiet to match the vocals. A finish is too strong for that though. I'll leave it as a whistle for now.
00:30:700 (1) - just make this a straight slider. that bump at the end might confuse beginners. I... really don't think it will.
00:38:950 (4) - the whistle should be at the end. adding it at the beginning ruins the consistency you're following. I'm emphasizing vocal hits with whistles for the most part. This phrase is in declination, and putting a whistle on the end would put the emphasis on the wrong beat.
00:56:762 (2) - make this slider symmetrical so that it'd be easier to read for beginners. Although I disagree, I redesigned it a little anyway.
01:00:700 (3) - this is touching the score which might make beginners nervous. I suggest that you either move it down a bit, or move it somewhere else so that it doesn't happen. I really don't think that it matters that horribly much. The hitcircles and bursts aren't getting covered by skin elements, and that's the important part.
01:01:262 (4,5,6) - these notes might be hard for beginners to hit because it's at the red lines. maybe to make this easier, replace this for a 1/1 repeat slider. I've thought about doing that, but the spacing is fairly clear about what's going on here, and I'm thinking it's good.
01:15:700 (1) - same as 00:27:700. Same as before
01:21:887 (1,2) - these sliders look ugly because of the curve. ik that you can do better then this. if you see during gameplay, (2) barely looks like a curve. Alright, curve a tad more.
01:27:700 (1) - I think beginners might let go after the second repeat because beginners might not know when this slider ends. i suggest that you make this repeat once, and add a circle at 01:29:950 so that it'd be easier for beginners. I'd agree if it was a 1/1 slider or shorter, but since this one is fairly long, I think it's good.
01:33:700 (1) - i think a finish at the beginning would be effective as it matches the vocals. A finish is too strong there
01:39:700 (6) - same as above but reduce the volume of the finish. i think 50% matches the vocals. if you don't think so, it should be around that range. Same reason as before. The phrase is in declination - a finish wouldn't be appropriate.
01:51:325 - add a circle to follow vocals? or remove (1,2) and add a 1/1 repeat slider? i think it flows a lot better to the next note with the repeat.
01:54:325 - ^
01:57:325 - ^ Nah
02:30:887 (1) - replace this spinner for notes to follow the vocals. i don't mind putting 2 straight spinners, but putting the spinners this close is a no no for me. the second spinner might surprise beginners because they need to adjust after the first spinner. I'd agree if it was a note this soon, but another spinner needs to adjusting. Just spinning again.
02:39:700 (1) - DAT SLIDER D:
[Normal]
00:02:012 (1) - remove this note because isn't following anything. oh wait this follows the drums. if that's the case, reduce the volume of this note to match the drums. as it stands it's a bit too loud. I did lower the volume on it already. I think the current level is appropriate.
00:06:137 (3) - move this to the 4th downbeat so that there would be a pattern for this combo. it should look like (4,5,6)
00:09:137 (3) - ^
00:12:137 (3) - ^ Makes the rhythm rather boring and stagnant imo.
00:13:637 (6,7,8) - maybe to make this easier, replace it for a 1/2 repeat slider? It's a stack. I think they'll be fine.
00:26:950 (4) - unsnapped slider.your gonna have to re-snap this slider, but if you ignore this, make this a 1/1 slider to follow vocals accurately. It's snapped to 1/6, and it's following the guitar, not the vocal.
00:27:700 (2) - add a finish at the beginning to match the vocals?
00:38:200 (4,5) - are you sure that players can reach this in time? Jumps from sliders are much easier than jumps from circles. Also this is fairly close still, and it has a strong pattern behind it. It should be fine.
01:24:700 (5) - just make this a curved slider. i don't like the end of the slider because it looks ugly during gameplay. I adjusted slightly since it wasn't blanketing quite right.
01:27:700 (2) - same as 00:27:700 but replace the whistle for a finish.
01:33:700 (2) - same as 00:27:700.
01:36:700 (1,2) - the whistles should be at the end, not at the beginning. adding it at the beginning ruins the consistency.

I think I expressed my dislike for combo colour black last time, but I'll reiterate:
1) black looks bad with my skin (which is mostly black)
2) black does not allow kiai to function properly, as the stars are colorized with additive filter. Adding 0,0,0 to a color is essentially invisible, so you can't see the stars. One option, while tedious, would be to never use black in kiai.
3) white suffers the opposite problem.
4) It may be worthwhile just to annoy the bg deleters. Right here, haha. Though I do like using a black color when possible, even when it messes with skins at times, I think I do it more to annoy the BG deleters now. Which is worth the skin troubles for me. q:
Your crazy color scheme works, but it would work better if you storyboarded in a 50% transparent grayscale BG when the color "dulls". Nice. Done.

00:36:700 (2,3) - like here. awesome Hm, I tried to apply these in the personality swap sections of the verses. Kind of the Beautiful Insides vs. the Asshole on the outer shell thing going on in this map. It's a little rough, but I think it worked out for the most part.
00:50:387 (3) - on the kiai, putting in long sliders every once in a while is nice, but when you put them all the time, it just feels empty to me, and the drum part suffers. If you cut most of these sliders in half and put any note in the lyrics on a slider start (or circle if there's a lyric right after it), you get the same feeling of "holding the note out" but you also keep the drum rhythm constant. Using a constant beat makes for a very fun map, as you still have rhythm embedded within the slider and circle combinations that you use. I'll think about this further since it would pretty much mean redesigning all of the kiai parts. And I'm a slooow mapper, hehe.
02:30:512 (1,2,3) - http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/290463 There comes a point where you DO have to consider the fact that people use custom skins, and it's a nice thing to make your map as skin-independent as possible. This is the first time I've actually run into this problem... I think my love for post-spinner notes in the center and black combo colors is fairly uncommon amongst other mappers. Adjusted combo colors around so it's yellow approaching there.
I didn't check hitsounds. Hopefully you've done that already with AIBat's export hitsounds to bookmarks feature.

well I supposed I can do a quick check...
01:14:856 (7) - overmapped
02:01:825 (188) - the ending here is pretty much the same as the very end of the song. I feel like you could put 02:02:012 - two notes here as you did at the end of the song. Changed both. Hope Kana doesn't mind. He hasn't responded yet, so...
