Heya sherrie~
[General]
This song would be awesome with some bongo-like hit sounds.
Tick rate 2 fits this song better.
[Walking]
In general, the spacing felt really high. With a 1.5x general spacing, that would probably do it.
00:30:338 (1) - Two were okay, but 6 in a row? Can you try to think of something different to do here?
00:35:338 (2,1,2) - The general flow of this pattern doesn't feel natural. Try to arc around and feel where the cursor should be moving for the most intuitive feel. Even the shape of 00:36:338 (1,2,3,4) - is a little crushed on one end, if what you were trying to make was a square. Also, remove new combo on 00:36:338 (1) -
00:50:338 (1) - Way too soon after a spinner for the easiest difficulty. End the spinner at 00:49:088 - or so
00:56:338 (4,1) - Try moving in a different direction so it isn't as plainly obvious that the spacing is a lot higher than the SV.
01:06:338 (1) - Too soon after a shortish spinner... Might be better to map through it.
01:08:338 (2,1,2) - The spacing transition here really makes the 1.5x spacing decision feel a little bit over the top. Doing that fairly slow slider into fairly large jump-feeling movements just doesn't really jive with the easy/normal mindset here.
01:13:838 (3,1) - And please, no big jumps like this in the easiest of the set.
01:32:338 (2,1) - This overlap is pretty glaring. Can you try to reposition it?
01:38:338 (2) - Kind of the same thing from earlier: two times in a row was okay. Three in a row gets kind of dull to play. Try a different pattern, please.
01:46:338 (5) - New combo
01:48:338 (1) - Remove nc
01:50:338 (5) - nc
Mm, in general, try to stick with one pattern with your new combo usage. You struck a good pattern at the beginning of the map with a new combo at each second tall white tick. It's when you deviate from that that gives a sense of unbalance going through the song. See if you can line these up (applies to all difficulties)
02:02:338 (1) - Too soon after spinner
02:18:338 (1) - ^
02:42:338 (1) - ^
02:50:338 (1) - ^
[Jogging]
00:31:338 (4) - These wavy sliders kind of feel unnecessary...
01:17:338 (4) - Mm, I'd delete this and start again at 01:17:588 -
02:47:338 (1) - Finish doesn't feel appropriate for this point in the song
[Hiking]
Honestly, all of the 1/4 rhythms don't fit this song at all. It doesn't do a laid-back beat justice imo. You can compensate the less rhythmic difficulty with larger spacing and faster general velocity and this could turn out really nice.
02:15:088 (8,1) - Really don't like this spacing
03:06:338 (1,3,4,5) - Aaah too much finish spam ><
Mm, in general the combination of really low spacing/velocity, overmapping, and overlaps really made playing certain parts of this kind of harder than it needed to be. A song like this doesn't really need something difficult, and definitely not something hard to read after hitbursts cover everything. See if you can give the beats some breathing space. This will also allow you to use stronger patterns if you wish, as you'll be able to cover more area to create a fun and relaxing map.
