Mapset completely done. Just need to implement the hitsounds. Everything else is mapped and fine so far. <3
This makes an incredible process, as far as I can see.

- Normal

00:25:990 (5,6) - Die Slider sehen wieder unschön aus ^^;;

00:49:615 (7) - Endpoint in Tick runter

00:49:615 (7) - Endpoint in Tick runter Ok.

here we go.

I think you'll need an audio lead-in of 2000 - 2500.
The avg bitrate is~93kbps which is unrankble. Try to find a source with 128~192 kbps. (if it exceeds 192 you can compress it, but it's not recommend to change song with 9x kbps to 128 kbps because the quality's still poor.

make sure you full submit after this ^.

The audio lead-in time's not unique. At least it should be the same for collab and taiko because they start at the same time.

[Taiko]
00:13:990 - k?
00:23:265 - ^
00:39:490 - no problem here, just to say that the trill in music's not exactly on tick. It's about 1/8 beat eariler, same for the coming positions.
00:54:115 - k---d---k?
00:57:302 - a transitional section of the song, it would be nice if you continuously put a waltz beat ( k d d k d d) there. So either d k or k d here?
01:06:490 - add a d ( <- a red note) here?

beautiful piece and nice taiko diff.
8/10

[Collab]
00:21:865 (2) - whistle?
00:35:365 (4,5,6) - whistle finish on (4,5), nothing on (6) would give a nice sudden muting effect
01:18:677 (2) - I prefer whistle here only
01:51:302 - make a gradual change on hitsound.
01:53:365 (4) - whistle
02:09:865 - same treatment as 0:35.

[Normal]
Spacing isn't so stable? 00:01:802 (2,3,4) 0.9x, (4,5) 0.95x, (5,6) 1.02x, 00:09:865 (6,1) - 0.85x ...
In the easiest diff a constant spacing is quite important so I think you can fix them with grid lv4.
00:35:365, 02:09:865 - same as hard collab

deserve a star here.
fartownik

General:

  1. Add 0,5 of the lead-in time in Taiko difficulty so it's consistent with Collab.
  2. 00:19:240 - Not the best place to put kiai time on. I'd just delete it and save it for the last part only.
  3. Your mp3 has quite poor quality (96kbps). Find another one if possible?

[Hard Collab]

00:49:615 (7) - New slider speed = new combo.
00:52:615 (1,2) - Swap new combos.
01:07:615 (3) - New slider speed = new combo.
01:48:115 (6) - ^
01:53:740 (1) - Add a Finish here? Seems like a good place.

Some of these speed changes are really confusing. Same goes to the sudden 1/6's.
However, it's pretty good mapped and plays fun.

[Normal]

01:10:802 (1) - Start this spinner at the next white tick. Sounds better.
01:53:740 (1) - Same suggestion with adding a Finish.

Didn't mod taiko.
Pretty nice Collab there.

(if it exceeds 192 you can compress it, but it's not recommend to change song with 9x kbps to 128 kbps because the quality's still poor. This is not possible, since it's directly copied from the game's directory, which only provides this quality of audio. You won't find any better, unfortunately.

make sure you full submit after this ^.

However, it's pretty good mapped and plays fun. Those triplets are actually 1/6 timed. If you playback them on slowmote, you'll realize that. We also were confused at first and then recognized that this is matching the songs melody at most.

If it's impossible to find a better source, we should still make it into 128kbps as to fit the rankable criteria.

  1. use 1262ms as offset
  2. change lead in time to 2500 (1500 for normal) oh you calculated the exact lead-in time for normal to fit the other diffs

[Normal]
In general this diff is a tiny bit too hard on some parts for being the easiest diff of the set. I recommend to either add an easy diff, or fix some harder parts in this diff:
  1. 00:46:802 (3) - tricky delay for easiest diff, starting this 1/2 earlier would be better
  2. 01:01:802 (5) - 1/2 earlier start here as well
  3. 01:04:240 (1) - this is hidden under the previous objects too much
  4. 01:06:865 (1,2,3,4,5) - this is too streamy (yes, 1/2 stream), you could replace it with a return slider
  5. 01:42:115 (5) - I would just remove the break after this
  6. 02:02:740 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - another stream you might want to replace with a slider
[Hard Collab]
  1. OD++?
  2. 01:49:052 (1) - remove the new combo here
  3. 02:07:240 (1) - move the whole pattern a bit to the left

Sorry if I sound harsh. I do not mean to sound that way.

A little surprised that you want letterboxing during breaks.
Just want to say that I don't particularly like the unsymmetric and sharp curved sliders used in Normal, but I guess if you really want your map like that, I won't bother asking further about it

Normal:
Normal/Aesthetics:
02:05:012 (1) - change the direction a bit so it does not overlap with 02:03:887 (2)

Combo:
00:04:637 (1,2) - fits the music better if you remove 1's new combo and add a new combo to 2

Hard:
Normal/Aesthetics:
00:30:887 (2) - I don't exactly like how this overlaps with 00:30:137 (3)
01:42:512 (5,6,7,8) - the transition between the slow slider and the faster notes was unintuitive for me
01:48:137 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Playing this section was just painful for me with such slow sliders that I can't exactly justify
02:02:387 (4) and 02:03:137 (3) - the overlap made the pattern look a little messy
02:07:262 (1,2,3,4,5) - it is really unintuitive to play really slow sliders with normal spacing between notes

===================
Mostly minor things that I didn't like playing through. Make the changes you want, contact me, and we'll see where to go from there.
OnosakiHito
@Ruish Thx for star~ :)

So, as Ono requested, I'll have timing suggestions on this song ~

[Timing]

For me, the best timing is :

BPM 160

Offset 1262, 37234, 49614, 55247, 95744

It's quite clear that without the above new offsets ( esp the 2nd & 3rd one ), the diff will be off in timing when using 25% and during gameplay

Anyway, have a star as I like the song :)

No need to kds this ~

@aabc271 Now the long discussion with a lot of people is finished and we agree'd that it is 1262 completely.
@blissfulyoshi I am awaiting you ingame to discuss the final changes at least.
blissfulyoshi
Okay finished testing timing, and I guess the current timing is close enough that I think it is okay. I am still not a fan of the slowdowns and sliders, so I am just going to rebubble (Dan if you want to rank, feel free to).

Edit: Repaired to removed letterboxing
