I see no problem with changing how the keys act on the game, remapping it so you can stream with 3+ fingers wont actually make it much easier in the long run (would actually make it harder to keep up with)
It has been discussed in other threads and I have never seen anyone strictly against it.
Before anyone asks, I don't know whether auto-fire is acceptable or not, but given that osu! is a rhythm game I'd find the idea self-defeating and idiotic so I'd say go ahead and ruin the experience for yourself if you really want to
