Seeing as some of the best timers in osu worked on these, I would say they are fine

I'll participate as well. My chances of winning are low but it's worth a shot.

Questions:
Do I HAVE to make EXACTLY 3 difficulties? As in Easy, Normal and Hard/Insane?
And another... It's fine if the MP3 is about 3-4 minutes long, but you only map the first 2 minutes of that, right?

Better safe than sorry.

Yes you have to make 3 difficulties, no more no less (there is only room for 3 to be submitted)

You can map as much of the mp3 as you want to, so yes you can do 2 minutes

You can map whatever 3 difficulties you want, but yeah Easy Normal Hard or Normal Hard Insane would probably be your best bets. Whatever works as a set.

And yeah, you can cut your map short if you want, just make sure it ends at a place that makes sense, and that you're reasonably consistent across all of your difficulties. I think finding the best spots to start and end your mapping is more important than deciding "how long" to map.

Exactly. Also: quality over quantity. ;)

Yes you are welcome to change any of that (in fact I highly recommend it)
Same SV/CS on every difficulty wouldn't be too good

Definitely change those to whatever you want. The base osu is only there to provide you with the timing

This is true. The single bpm of the song is only good until 3:00:79. awp referred to the outro as a "slowdown," suggesting that it would require an obnoxious number of timing sections to map, so you probably just want to avoid it.
