The fingertip style is really the claw grip, not much different. Also i couldn't find a picture that precisely demonstrated it

I hold the mouse around the middle, right below the scroll wheel, when playing osu!.
I need to stay on the scroll wheel if I'm playing mouse-only, which is why I can't play mouse-only well. xD

fingertip uses purely fingertips only touching the mouse (an elevated palm).
claw uses the fingertips with the bottom of the palm to support the mouse.
i personally switch between fingertip and claw. fingertip for general use, and claw for extra precision when moving slowly.
Palm grip.. claw style feels extremely uncomfortable.

My palm is on the mouse, but there's a small gap between my fingers and the button, so only my fingertips touch it.

couldn't really jump with my whole hand on the mouse
I use the palm grip, but I did try the claw grip a few days ago. It messed my spinning skills, so I reverted back the palm grip.

I would say claw grip, but I don't play with mouse. e_e How do you guys do it? Playing other games has made me a twitch player so osu is kind of impossible for me on mouse.
I use palm for streams and jumps, claw for spin.
I guess mix of them. It depends of the situation.
It used to be fingertip grip for me when my mouse was a smaller one. Now that I have a bigger mouse I use the "claw" grip style.
