Breaker mode~
A mania mod that has its own separate leaderboard like standard mania converts.
Stop time when you get into your zone and score extra points on an uncapped score.
Concept "Zone"
Your zone meter is filled over time with each combo streak of 250
you can trigger it with caps lock or a set keybind or the beatmap creator could enable flags to automatically give you zone.
There are four quarters you have to complete to fill your zone.
Disclaimer: Zone meter doesn't get reset if you miss after you gained it, if you hit an incorrect
note you'll loose a quarter of your zone. Zone timer for each quarter is 7.5 seconds
Zone game environment behavior.
Time freezes and the notes wait for you to press the key they'll automatically snap to the bottom of the screen after you press the key the next note was on.
You can do this as fast as you want to get a time bonus and to rack up as much points as possible.
Score multiplier.
With every 100 notes your multiplier advances by 2x
Disclaimer: your multiplier starts at 2x when you enter zone & the max is 8x
Aesthetics.
Note gradients or effects that can be programmed using the same scripting method as storyboards
The intensity of the background will change based off the multiplier.
Sound changes.
The sound of the game changes to a more quiet ambient edited version of the song the beatmapper can setup in beatmap editor.
Because the map has to progress because you've been playing the notes the map will automatically advance with each quarter of your zone meter.
Editor requirements.
The ability to select duel audio files
Zone flags that can be placed on the track
Custom advances
Skinning support.
The ability to create a meter using PNG files from 4png files, you can customize the particles in the skin.ini files to use a specific sprite or to just do basic dots with size adjustments, the ability to support, the multiplier is skin-supported.
