Pretty much what the title says. When I'm in a multiplayer game and try to download a new beatmap, osu! freezes and the only way to close it is to end the program (which is said as 'not responding') through the Task Manager. After I end osu! though, it DOES bring to to the webpage to download the beatmap.
This only started happening with the latest update. Any way to fix it?

Sounds like an issue with your browser associations in windows. You can try and resolve this by resetting your default browser (try setting it to another browser then switch it back).

Thanks for the response, Peppy. But I just tried resetting my default browser and changing my default browser and it did not fix the problem.
In the past when it was working correctly, osu! would minimize itself and bring me to the webpage to download a new beatmap. But now, it brings me to the webpage, but osu! does not minimize itself and it becomes unresponsive. :?

Ah, so I guess you are running fullscreen. Have you tested running windowed to see if this works any better?

Yes, I'm playing fullscreen. I just tried it in Windowed mode and the problem was fixed.
I'm most comfortable playing in fullscreen though, any solutions to this?

This is an issue with how windows handles associations I believe. I will look into whether I can force minimising osu! in these cases.

Edit: I've already checked and osu! minimises when a link is clicked. Does this only happen in certain cases? For instance, does it also freeze when clicking links in chat, etc.?
