Mark next weekend on your calendar if you are interested in tuning in on the first ever public event with my brand new osu!arcade cabinet design. Should have two cabinets setup running in head-to-head multiplayer on both osu! and osu!stream over the 24 hour event.

July 14th UTC01:00 - 15th UTC04:00

Will be running at the largest local LAN event, more details here: http://www.rflan.org . If you are in Perth, feel free to come along (you can get in and play osu! without paying anything).

An early look at the osu!arcade cabinet: http://youtu.be/GBijZr0GaO0?hd=1

More details will likely follow before this happens, but you can assume it will be hosted on my twich.tv channel ( http://twitch.tv/peppyhax ).

It's not really a stand so much as a large space I use up. We have been running osu!arcade v1 there for the last year or so and people love it :).

You have an osu! arcade, and cabinets with osu!.

Then, that's a stand.

Also, I hope you (and other players) have a good time n.n

It's not really a stand because it's not a convention as such. It is just part of the gaming area, along with consoles etc.
You wouldn't call each individual arcade system a "stand" in a game centre/arcade, after all.

Oh, sorry for my misunderstood... Also, the osu!arcade looks awesome.

When do you bring it into Argentina?

I saw the youtube video earlier today, but I didn't expect to see it to in public so soon. I won't be attending the event as I don't really play competitive PC games and the venue is a fair bit out of my way, but will the new machine be at Wai-Con early next year?
Always leave headroom before bouncing.
Avoid close harmonies at lower registers.
Check for mono compatibility thoroughly with wide mixes.
Opt for volume automation instead of just compression.
Detune that sawtooth.
Putting effects on the master channel while mixing is basically all seven cardinal sins.

You gotta have one in the most important city in Aus Melbourne some day. Maybe I could organise something with adam2046 and the others here.

Do you have any plans to distribute these around the world, or is it more in the testing stage right now?

Because this looks genuinely awesome. There's an arcade that I know of where a lot of the rhythm gaming community visits, and I'm sure this would look awesome in it's place next to the IIDX, Pop'n, ITG and all that.

These are prototype units, which I plan on doing a mini-tour of as many places as I can with. That said, I have everything in place to mass-produce these, so nothing is really stopping me :). I don't really have plans for the future, but hopefully there will be some interested souls out there after videos these start circulating.
