I could care less about play count and accuracy. Just the spunout being rankable.

I'm hard pressed to believe that if you have an accuracy of 97% that you would not have a problem going out and getting a bunch of 40%'s on songs, massively decreasing your overall accuracy.

Oh please. Someone already pointed out that accuracy calculation will change.

Do you want me to get some more of these?

My overall accuracy is 98.51% and I still don't care about it. I doubt that someone with only 97% acc would be against lowering their accuracy.

Spunout mod suggestions (please don't kill me T_T)

- multiplier stay at 1.00x (0.9x is good but it affects your score, not just the spinners)
- SPM must not so awfully slow (you'll get a 100 sometimes in a short spinner at <300SPM, but such things are rare)
- since the multiplier will be 1.0x, it must not include spinners' score (+100 for each revolution, +1100 after clearing) in your gameplay score, just the score of the hit + additional score for combo (a.k.a treating the whole spinner as a single hit circle)

PLAY COUNT TOO HIGH, MUST REDUCE.

My solution: just stop playing. You should be PROUD of a high play count. What, are you trying to hide your osu! addiction or something?

YEAH! Be proud of it, but still needs higher playcount.

If you're after the king of lowering their own accuracy go and check out oWingz.

Personally I think 0.9x is perfect because anyone experienced span + note style (such as Eph's Bad apple normal) and made a miss.
And high speed mouses are hard to control.
That's too embarrass I think.

Even if you guys played it for fun it should still count, since that play was part of your osu! lives, if people run away from multiplayer rooms because they're scared of losing accuracy they are in their right to do so, but that shows what kind of players they are

Sigh. I'm not scared of losing accuracy, I consider 50% a challenge to improve in future - but I'm talking about players joining a hi-diff match is even less likely that way than it was before. Well, whatever, those groups playing passable stuff with Spunout x Nofail annoyed me anyway, since mods don't show at selection tabs, so to hell with them and spunout alike :3

well. you usually shouldn't use "NoFail+SpunOut" in combination, maybe if during multi-player the combos didn't fade to gray when you lose....
And what's bad in making a bad score and challenging it to fix it?
Maybe younger player need to know that they should challenge themselves.

AFAIK, that was the reason. No graying out (I admit, it can be REALLY annoying on map with custom skins) + unranked, with almost no impact on gameplay.

No. Spunout makes the map easier, so it's only logical to have a slight disadvantage. u__u'

Also, I agree with your third remark. Spunout shouldn't give bonus points since it's not you who are spinning. u_u'

Overall I don't see the problem of Spunout being rankable. :/ But people are always complaining whenever there's something new...

try with dt something like this http://osu.ppy.sh/s/37313
it's like get #50 in world competition and tell your professor "not everyone can get better"

You're completely misunderstanding the point I made and the post I was responding to.

The post I was responding to said that he would like to use spunout to play difficult maps without getting the score ranked, thus decreasing his accuracy. He said that it's unfair to say "just improve" because"not everyone can get better". #50 on that map is already 100% - of course you can't get better accuracy than that.

He wants to have nice stats, which corresponds to the absolute grading scale - anyone can get 100% (on non-WiW type maps) if they work at it hard enough.

By the way, I dunno about you, but I'd be pretty darn proud of #50 in the world.

Okay, now everyone's idea is the "professor" thing... lmao, can't you say anything else?

Straight to the point, NOPE, it would be like having an incomplete job and deliver it "TO THE PROFESSOR". Why would I do that if I can work on and do it better? And give "the professor" the BEST grades and just practice in my home? POV... Lewa, I even asked osuplayer to get a shitty accuracy on a map, and he just did it lol. Look at your rank, that doesn't hurt at all..

but even if dt 1000x harder than nomod, dt with, for example, 10 misses and B won't even be #50. there will be shitty SS with nomod.
what's the point to rank it when you can't even jump to top50?
that's why people play for themselves without ranking that shitty score.

Fair dos. I'll accept this. Making spunout ranked will probably remove a lot of cock-sizing faggotry.
It's almost as bad as K:D ratios in CoD.
