How to be consistent yet diverse?

Hello there. So the problem is that I can’t find the balance between consistency in mapping similar parts of the song and diversity. Basically, these parts should look alike to certain extent, but diverse enough to be not boring, and I can’t seem to find the right balance. How do you bear with this kind of struggle?
Refills
use different patterns while using the same spacing emphasis or slidershapes, or mapping the same sounds the same way

So basically leaving the structure of the same parts the same while doing minor tweaks to object placement (like mirroring, some kind of alternating patterns) will be enough to provide diversity, right?
