[Archived] unremovable sliderends(?)

so i reprogrammed my pc and reinstalled osu. it didnt work due to "osu! crashed". so i downloaded an older version of the game.
now all skins ive used before (which all didn't have sliderends) had sliderends. i tried changing through skins and all of them had them. changing it in the skins folder also didnt seem to work.
help is much appreciated. thanks in advanced.

i updated osu to the latest version, but when i launch the game it just says osu!crashed.

Click on the osu! crashed window and post the log that appears here. Also, what GPU do you have?

Sliderends are skinned differently on older versions of the game.

Now I remember, you posted on another thread with the same issue, but you didn't reply when I asked if you tried what I'd suggested to do.

Please check for pending Windows updates and install any that you find (especially ones marked important).

Yes, as I've said, sliderends are handled different on the older version of the game that you were playing on. That version of the game is no longer supported, so it would be best to get the current version of the game running instead.
