since I changed my playstyle from tablet to mouse only
1. pointer speed: 6/11 2. mouse sensivity: 0,9x 3. Precision: yes 4. dpi: 1800 dpi 5. Mouse: Razer DeathAdder 6. resolution: 1440x900 (Native) 7. fullscreen or windowed?: Fullscreen ( it's very lag to play in wondowed) 8. Grip: Palm grip 9. Mousepad: Razer Goliathus speed 10. Issues: long and fast streams   |

(e.g can't spin well, that jumps, streams...) long streams, notes at bottom right, 200bpm+ and long-spaced streams i've been playing mouse only since Frizz925 told me to use these setting and i love it  (also he told me this setting is some kind artificial 450-500dpi) my skin of choice is kriers' skin, TaNa's or mix of TaNa's & kriers' (lol) and now my tablet is only used for drawing ;_; Last edited by Avner on , edited 1 time in total.

1. 6/11, "Enhance pointer precision" is disabled (this setting gives me a 1:1 mouse movement)
2. 1.6x 3. No 4. 400 dpi maybe? I have a cheap mouse at the moment 5. Standard USB mouse 6. 1366x768 7. Full screen 8. Claw grip, too bad the mouse is too small 9. A cheap stereotype mousepad, there's a wrist pad on it, but i don't use it 10. Mouse: Thou shalt not pass!, yep, small cheap mouse is my problem when playing, sometimes it make me miss a jump, not sliding properly when streaming etc. I'm currently saving money to buy Elephant Dragunov or Razer Abyssus if i can. (or what DPI you are using when playing?): I could not figure this out. But for sure it's a pretty low DPI (with Windows max speed the cursor moves a bit slowly, compared to other mouses I had) 5. What kind of mouse you are using? Emachines Ps/2 Optical Mouse (Nothing special) 6. What is your osu!'s screen resolution? 1336x768 7. Do you prefer fullscreen or windowed mode? Fullscreen, but I find the spinners easier in windowed mode  8. How do you hold/grip your mouse? Huh.. One finger in each side, one finger in each button, and one finger in the wheel xD (anyway I don't use the mouse buttons) 9. What is your mousepad? (or where do you place your mouse?): In a scribbled paper (It's better than the osu! mousepad) 10. What are your problems/issues while you're playing? (e.g can't spin well, that jumps, streams...): Maybe I have a bit of trouble with the spinners, but generally I play very well with this settings. So this is it. Hopefully I helped  |

Did you enable the "Precision Mode" in osu! ? No 4. What is the DPI of your mouse? (or what DPI you are using when playing?) 1500 (sensitivity set to 6) 5. What kind of mouse you are using? Issues: long and fast streams no pain - no gain!

1. My windows pointer speed is 7 out of 11. However, I did use the MarkC mouse fix which removes ALL mouse acceleration, EVERYWHERE. Really helps a ton.
2. Default. 3. What's precision mode? I keep hearing stuff about "dimming" and precision, but I could not find these anywhere. 4. Not sure. 5. A basic run-of-the-mill Logitech mouse. 6. 1920x1080 7. Fullscreen 8. Like a normal person. I place my hand on the mouse, my pointer finger on LMB and my middle and ring fingers on RMB. 9. No mousepad right now. 10. I have major problems with spinning, and I can usually just barely complete a spinner. |

What is your osu!'s screen resolution? same as my normal screen resolution - 1280x960 7. Do you prefer fullscreen or windowed mode? Windowed 8. How do you hold/grip your mouse? Palm 9. What is your mousepad? (or where do you place your mouse?) some old razer mousepad my cousin gave me for my bday 10. What are your problems/issues while you're playing? I used to have 3000 cpi/dpi, and since I turned it down to 2500 I can control the mouse better... but jumps across the screen are hard cause my muscle memory isn't there yet the other problems are just timing issues (for streams, cause I just mash) or just getting used to reading high bpm+high AR songs ... Single (Left) Click mouse with keyboard for streaming.. |
