[Archived] Increasing Input Lag after alt-tabbing

New player here and i usually play around 4-5 ms, but when i alt-tab, sometimes not even for a long time, the input lag increases to around 20ms, and consequently, i cant play properly anymore. Any tips on how to resolve this? Thanks

have you recently updated your win10 by any chance?

if thats the case then go into windows settings > system > focus assistant, disable everything

if you haven't then please link your specs and os

I have updated recently and tried what you recommended but didn't work unfortunately.

I play on win10, 7th gen i5 cpu, 4GB RAM, and nvidia geforce 940mx graphics.

check if anything running in background isnt eating your resources, cap your fps to 240, try compatibility mode
