Mapping is open to anybody
A fun tournament for Singaporean players to take part and have fun
To encourage and motivate mapping, especially to those new (and those in Singapore), with thoughts and feedback along the way
Mapping Phase: 1 Feb 2018 - 20 June 2018
Registration Phase: 1 June - 16 June 2018
Tournament Day: 23 June 2018 5pm (1st & 2nd Round) and 9pm (Finals)
Head to Head, 8 players in a room
Scoring will be based on their position in the song (1st gets 1 point, 2nd 2, etc.)
64 players in total, 8 groups of 8 (seeded by pp)
Mods will be applied to some of the maps (Hidden, DoubleTime, FreeMod)
Maps will be given to the players in the multiplayer room
3 Rounds. Top 4 in each group will make it for the 2nd Round. Top 2 in the 2 groups in the 2nd Round will make it for the 3rd Round (Final Round)
Final Round
The Final Round will be in Team vs Team 4 v 4 format
2 players will be randomly selected to form teams
Thue-Morse sequence will be used, and the order of picking people will be 011010
Prizes are given to the overall top 3 players
Winning team might be awarded prizes
Mapping
Open to all, not just Singaporeans
Maps are above 4* in Star Difficulty
Preferably longer than 1:30 minutes
Has to be unsubmitted and not on any site where it can be downloaded before the matches
The maps cannot be shown to any players involved
Any kind of song/genre is accepted (songs are of your own choice)
Disclaimer: Changes might have to be made on maps for this tournament, if you wish to have your map used, you would have to comply to this
We will still have to decide whether to accept the maps once they are done, that they meet certain criteria and standard
It is not certain that all mappers will have their maps in the tournament, but it is something we are trying to work to
Any addition of maps will cease when the mapping stage is over
Basic requirements of the maps: Fully mapped, at least a BG added. Hitsounds are optional (unless playability is affected too much if not present)
You can no longer participate as a player once you have expressed intention to map
Players
This is a tournament for Singaporean players
Registration will open during the slated time period
Please ensure you are free to participate in the tournament, preferably free for the whole day
In the event where there are more than 64 registrants, priority is given to those of better rank
Ensure that you can download the maps during the match itself (to download the mappool .zip through puush or other uploading sites if necessary)

Have a maximum download time of 5 minutes

Registration for players will be done after the mapping stage, interested players can still join the Discord server for updates before the registration window is open
Registration will be done within the Discord server, a link will be provided there
Mappers and players must join the Discord server made for this tournament for updates and discussion
