[resolved] i can't quit osu because of glitch. PLEASE HELP

Problem Details:
so i joined a group in multiplayer and I'm on mac so i went in the group and sou just froze i can't quit the game i hit the red quit button, nothing i held the sou logo and hit quit, nothing i tried to open a second one, nothing :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Force shutdown? Like, holding the power button for a few seconds, or unplugging the power outlet?

no hes talking about the red exit button on the top left of mostly every single program in the world

note for other people trying to solve: hes on mac

I have fixed the problem by logging into the guest accout on my Apple computer restarting it and going back onto my accout but thanks for the help :?
