To those who are wondering about FL+HD for Taiko...

I am personally TOTALLY AGAINST IT used as regular mods.

You'll ask why.

It kills the fun at getting #1s, it kills the challenge. It kills everything. I consider it as cheating if it's multimonitoring.

I am not against it used as challenge (When you think you know the chart by heart, see for example Saitama2000, the most known Taiko map ever, featuring >20 HD+FLs.

I think Didou agrees with me, but I look forward for more T.P. if they also agree.

I know like 1 case of regular HD+FLing in taiko.
SPOILER (click to toggle)
And I totally hate that.
I guess you'll hate me then... I made that record purely using my brain to memorize, no multi-monitors or whatever. :?

(Of course, it took me a while to SS this since Taiko accuracy level is rather unforgiving. Also, I only played 3 Taiko maps, and only that map alone is the one I achieved the best. I mostly play osu! mode anyway. :P)

Don't worry it's as challenge if you played it with your brain :)
Else I'd hate myself :V

If it's done legitimately, There are no problems. If it's done using the Multi monitor method, then it's a problem. As long as you're not comparing notes on a FL-free screen when playing the FL on another monitor, for example, it's fine.

Peppy is actually such a badass.

If you still don't believe me, I would suggest reconsidering how much you trust other people. I am not trying to tear apart friendships here, but throughout running osu! I myself have learnt that nearly no one can be trusted.

Seriously. Don't doubt him.

I guess I'm fine then.

If you check my replay on the beatmap I mentioned, you'll see that I keep hitting the taiko drum because I'm trying to follow the beat and hitting the notes accurately. :P

Simple answer :
run one client, whatever tools you use to play is up to you as long as there is no auto-macro involved, no other programs other than your own skills should help.

Some posts went kaput, including my latest posts. I wanna reply to the deleted post:

Sorry, I won't do that again. Thanks for answering my question regarding account sharing though (that it's bannable offense). :?

We have not yet placed an incorrect ban for cheating.

I trust that
but how do we really know the incorrect ban? :?

For example, whether Bikko banned at that time, we still can say we have not yet placed an incorrect ban.

Again, that's a matter of trusting my decisions. And the fact that most people end up admitting or create multis and continue cheating (which seals the deal really).

@Gezo: Well, I'm also agains the FL mod in Taiko since it is normaly impossible to play in this way. Easy osu! maps converted into Taiko and Namco maps which have allways the same patterns are easy to memorize, but maps which are mapped by real users in this game, contains often much too hard patterns for memorizing them. But to exclude this mod would be maybe way too much, since you need to seperate it from the other two game mods and the rankings would/could be messed up.

But we need to be honest with us self(right english?), we all allready know who is really using double monitor, but we are just too scared to report them, isn't it right? So I think we are also not better, since we should contribute a bit more.

Well, but I think it is now clarified how we can report some one also in another way, after peppy explained it.

What's the format of the !report XXXXXX command?

So is it like sending regular chat message to the moderators via IRC? That means we should include the URL to the beatmap if we are reporting cheaters/foul plays, right?

(Though I personally prefer using the [Report] button from the website instead. And I think it would be better if the button also includes writing the reason why we're reporting the player)

hmm
2 different question
how about play with multi account (with honest play), like using new account or friend's account?
and how if someone play with other people's account to play with cheat?
no self-defence? :P
