Odore:
00:29:958 - why is there no note here? There is another soft drum beat here
00:37:753 (6) - make a slider to follow the vocals? The gap feels a little weird, and honestly not sure if I here a drum at 00:37:249 -
00:46:467 (1,2,1,2,1) - The reducing spacing feels really weird to me because the drums aren't exactly soft
00:55:349 - Why did you skip a note here?
00:55:182 (8,1) - In addition, how does this momentum killer fit the song?
00:58:031 (2,3,2,3) - It feels so weird that in a section meant to build up to the chorus to have this stack. Like if you wanted to slow down cursor movement a bit, I would make a stream for the string isntrument instead
01:10:601 (1,2,3,4,5) - Since this is on drums and not a string instrument, I would differentiate this a bit more than using a slight spacing increase
01:23:757 - are you purposely ignoring this triplet?

Personally, I found the diff a bit weird with many momentum killers during build ups (like stacks, streams, and repeats), and the diff didn't really make the more energetic sections of the map harder than the rest of the map. There were early jumps like 00:28:366 (1,2,1,2) - that are fairly difficult and quite comparable to what you see during the build ups.

00:37:753 (6) - make a slider to follow the vocals? The gap feels a little weird, and honestly not sure if I here a drum at 00:37:249 - i actually prefer the stop, since it sounds like there's a slight pause in the drums; i also feel it helps accentuate the jumps for the buildup 00:38:088 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) -
00:46:467 (1,2,1,2,1) - The reducing spacing feels really weird to me because the drums aren't exactly soft the reduction in spacing is more to reflect the transition in the music from a much more energetic section to the calmer section, but i could change this in the future
00:55:349 - Why did you skip a note here? read below
00:55:182 (8,1) - In addition, how does this momentum killer fit the song? the original idea was that i interpreted the buildup as two separate parts, so i had the pause to reflect the difference between the buildup. decided to try combining the two though (lol SR increased by .1)
00:58:031 (2,3,2,3) - It feels so weird that in a section meant to build up to the chorus to have this stack. Like if you wanted to slow down cursor movement a bit, I would make a stream for the string isntrument instead tried experimenting with a stream and hated how that played so i just unstacked it
01:10:601 (1,2,3,4,5) - Since this is on drums and not a string instrument, I would differentiate this a bit more than using a slight spacing increase i feel an accelerated stream is actually a good enough differentiation from the static streams of 01:09:763 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4) - but i can make it more apparent/noticeable i guess
01:23:757 - are you purposely ignoring this triplet? if there is a triplet here it sounds really faint, so i think it's all right to skip over it (i can sort of hear something but it definitely gets drowned out to the point where it's barely noticeable)

Personally, I found the diff a bit weird with many momentum killers during build ups (like stacks, streams, and repeats), and the diff didn't really make the more energetic sections of the map harder than the rest of the map. There were early jumps like 00:28:366 (1,2,1,2) - that are fairly difficult and quite comparable to what you see during the build ups. oops i meant to nerf that jump

thanks for the input yoshi- hopefully it feels a bit less momentum-breaking now zzz

  • 00:39:092 (5) - consider to add NC here for HP recovery for newb hp is already low enough that the drop from this pause is pretty negligible

i see that u missed a hitsound here

odore

meg
  • 00:06:579 - tbh the kat hitsound here doesn't suit the intro well tbh. soft-hitnormal2 file is the most suitable hitsound for the intro
  • 00:15:497 (4) - the tail should provide finish there to emphasize the cymbal sound there

can't comment anything about those streams and 1/4 sliders around, holy...

gaia =w=
  • 00:12:254 (4) - i'd remove this hitsound that aren't the same as 00:09:822 (1,2,3) -
  • 00:33:645 (2) - doesn't seem to represent such rhythm here around, even if it's intentional to make it more fun to play with. i'd stack 2 1/2 notes there instead

imagine that this should be light extra or extra diff rather than insane lol

little
  • 00:12:254 (4) - the same reason about this hitsound as i have mentioned it before

e
  • 01:19:316 (1,2) - imo this should be suitable in rhythm to click as 2 1/1 sliders

hi meep

2017-11-24 16:53 Doormat: yo do you have time to mod a map? my love live one is sort of ready
2017-11-24 16:55 Hiicantpk: i can give it a look
2017-11-24 16:56 Doormat: would be appreciated, thanks-
2017-11-24 16:57 Hiicantpk: song reminds me of
2017-11-24 16:57 Hiicantpk: ACTION is listening to [https://osu.ppy.sh/b/859246 Sonoda Umi (CV.Mimori Suzuko) - Watashitachi wa Mirai no Hana]
2017-11-24 16:59 Hiicantpk: top diff 00:27:025 (1) - stack on 00:25:685 (1) - like you did with the previous and next sliders
2017-11-24 17:00 Doormat: k
2017-11-24 17:00 Hiicantpk: aaa i keep noticing the "slider end not perfectly stacking" that pishi mentioned in his last vid
2017-11-24 17:01 Doormat: blame the editor
2017-11-24 17:01 Hiicantpk: ppy pls
2017-11-24 17:02 Hiicantpk: top diff is pretty solid
2017-11-24 17:04 Doormat: people keep saying it's different from my usual style
2017-11-24 17:08 Hiicantpk: really like Meg's diff
2017-11-24 17:10 Doormat: yeah his diff is great
2017-11-24 17:13 Hiicantpk: Meg's diff has an extra timing point at 00:05:768 although i can't remember if the "dont place notes before the first red timing" was still in the rc, cause this might be for that
2017-11-24 17:14 Doormat: yeah i noticed it too
2017-11-24 17:15 Hiicantpk: personally not a fan of 00:19:484 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4) - in Gaia's diff. Maybe with a smoother increase in spacing it'd feel better to me
2017-11-24 17:16 Hiicantpk: and this stream also feels kinda wonky 00:27:863 (4,5,1,2,3,4,1) -
2017-11-24 17:16 Hiicantpk: don't really notice anything in the music that would warrant such a change in stream spacing midstream
2017-11-24 17:17 Doormat: HMM
2017-11-24 17:17 Doormat: oh oops my caps lock
2017-11-24 17:23 Hiicantpk: little's insane and other diffs look good
2017-11-24 17:23 Doormat: o
2017-11-24 17:23 Doormat: thanks
