So. I've asked this in the 'general discussion' thread but either no one noticed it, no one knew or no one wanted to answer. Anyways:
The latest monthly beatmap contest for osu!catch is over and ascendance won it: https://osu.ppy.sh/b/1357223
this contest has been announced on the osu! front page and seemingly this map will be bundled with the game? so where can i read up anything on it? it just came like 6 months ago, then i found absolutely nothing on the whole osu!forums or anywhere else on this and suddenly i see the winning map in osu!? doesn't the winner like get announced too? isn't there like a topic where you could discuss things or see the results for yourself? in the beatmap topic of said map there seemed to be people who knew that the map won - how?
i really liked one submission, the "conspicuous crane". but do i get no chance of knowing who mapped it so that i can look into that mapper more?
i would really like some general information on this thing, isn't there anything?
